Association networks are widely applied for the prediction of bacterial interactions in studies of human gut ***,the experimental validation of the predicted interactions is challenging due to the complexity of gut microbiomes and the limited number of cultivated *** this study,we addressed this challenge by integrating in vitro time series network(TSN)associations and cocultivation of TSN taxon *** samples were collected and used for cultivation and enrichment of gut microbiome on YCFA agar plates for 13 *** cells were harvested for DNA extraction and metagenomic sequencing.A total of 198 metagenome-assembled genomes(MAGs)were *** dynamics of bacteria growing on the YCFA agar were used to infer microbial association *** experimentally validate the interactions of taxon pairs in networks,we selected 24 and 19 bacterial strains from this study and from the previously established human gut microbial biobank,respectively,for pairwise *** co-culture experiments revealed that most of the interactions between taxa in networks were identified as neutralism(51.67%),followed by commensalism(21.67%),amensalism(18.33%),competition(5%)and exploitation(3.33%).genome-centric analysis further revealed that the commensal gut bacteria(helpers and beneficiaries)might interact with each other via the exchanges of amino acids with high biosynthetic costs,short-chain fatty acids,and/or *** also validated 12 beneficiaries by adding 16 additives into the basic YCFA medium and found that the growth of 66.7%of these strains was significantly *** approach provides new insights into the gut microbiome complexity and microbial interactions in association *** work highlights that the positive relationships in gut microbial communities tend to be overestimated,and that amino acids,short-chain fatty acids,and vitamins are contributed to the positive relationships.

The design and synthesis of novel photocatalyst with self-temperature control function is an important topic in the field of advanced environmental functional *** this work,submicron-sized magnetic phase change microcapsules composed of paraffin core and Fe_(3)O_(4)-loaded silica shell are prepared,on which the Bi_(2)WO_(6)crystals is grown in situ through hydrothermal reaction to obtain novel magnetic phase-change-microcapsule-supported Bi_(2)WO_(6)catalyst(MP@FS/BWO).The MP@FS/BWO has a paraffin encapsulation ratio of 57.1%,and the phase change enthalpy of 105.1 J/g in a temperature range of 50–60℃,which endows the MP@FS/BWO with a certain self-temperature regulation ***@FS/BWO shows excellent catalytic performance in the decomposition of rhodamine B under the simulated sunlight *** the light source is turned off,it still has good catalytic ability by maintaining high temperature due to its temperature control function based on the phase transition *** MP@FS/BWO can be easily recycled by magnetic separation and shows good structural stability and *** work provides a new idea for the development of long-effect and energy-saving outdoor photocatalysts.

Piezoelectric semiconductors bear the bifunctional photocatalysis and piezocatalysis,while the absent or weak internal charge driving force severely restricts its catalytic *** polarization strategy is desirable,and particularly understanding its mechanism from a microscopic perspective remains ***,we report a secondary recrystallization approach to achieving the simultaneous micro-and macroscopic polarization enhancement on Bi2WO6 nanosheets for boosting piezo-photocatalytic oxygen activation,and unravel the mechanism at an *** secondary recrystallization process not only results in a strengthened distortion of[WO6]octahedra with distortion index enhancement by~20%for a single octahedron,but also enables lateral crystal growth of nanosheets along the ab plane(av.50 to 180 nm),which separately allows the rise in dipole moment of unit cell(e.g.,1.63 D increase along a axis)and the stacking of the distorted[WO6]octahedron to accumulate the unit cell dipole,collectively contributing to the considerably strengthened spontaneous polarization and ***,exposure of large-area{001}front facet enables more efficient capture and conversion of stress into ***,the well-recrystallized Bi2WO6 nanosheets exhibit considerably promoted piezo-photocatalytic reactive oxygen species generation,given the decreased specific surface *** work presents a feasible methodology to regulate inside-out polarization for guiding carriers transfer behavior,and may advance the solid understanding on the intrinsic mechanism.

AIM:To investigate the association between central serous chorioretinopathy(CSC)and Helicobacter pylori(Hp)by summarizing all available ***:The Scopus,Embase,EBSCO,PubMed,Web of Science,and Cochrane Library databases for all relevant studies published from inception to October 2022 were searched,and manually searched for relevant reference lists as a *** investigating the association between CSC and Hp infection were ***,8 case-control studies were included in the Meta-analysis after study ***:The results showed no significant correlation between Hp infection and CSC[odds ratio(OR)1.89,95%confidential interval(CI)0.58–6.15,I2=96%,P=0.29].After subgroup analysis based on the degree of development of the study(developing/developed countries),it was found that the results of the two subgroups were the same as the whole,and no significant difference between the two subgroups ***-regression showed that the effect of sample size on heterogeneity among studies was more prominent(P2)=89.72%),which can explain 89.72%of the sources of ***:This Meta-analysis reveals no significant correlation between Hp infection and CSC,which still warrants further well-designed extensive sample studies to reach a more reliable conclusion and promote a better understanding of the treatment of CSC.

Angular contact ball bearings have been widely used in machine tool spindles,and the bearing preload plays an important role in the performance of the *** order to solve the problems of the traditional optimal preload prediction method limited by actual conditions and uncertainties,a roller bearing preload test method based on the improved D-S evidence theorymulti-sensor fusion method was ***,a novel controllable preload system is proposed and ***,multiple sensors are employed to collect data on the bearing parameters during preload ***,a multisensor fusion algorithm is used to make predictions,and a neural network is used to optimize the fitting of the preload *** limitations of conventional preload testing methods are identified,and the integration of complementary information frommultiple sensors is used to achieve accurate predictions,offering valuable insights into the optimal preload *** results demonstrate that the multi-sensor fusion approach outperforms traditional methods in accurately measuring the optimal preload for rolling bearings.

EG-STC: An Efficient Secure Two-Party Computation Scheme Based on Embedded GPU for Artificial Intelligence Systems

This paper presents a comprehensive exploration into the integration of Internet of Things(IoT),big data analysis,cloud computing,and Artificial Intelligence(AI),which has led to an unprecedented era of *** delve into the emerging trend of machine learning on embedded devices,enabling tasks in resource-limited ***,the widespread adoption of machine learning raises significant privacy concerns,necessitating the development of privacy-preserving *** such technique,secure multi-party computation(MPC),allows collaborative computations without exposing private *** its potential,complex protocols and communication interactions hinder performance,especially on resource-constrained *** to enhance efficiency have been made,but scalability remains a *** the success of GPUs in deep learning,lever-aging embedded GPUs,such as those offered by NVIDIA,emerges as a promising ***,we propose an Embedded GPU-based Secure Two-party Computation(EG-STC)framework for Artificial Intelligence(AI)*** the best of our knowledge,this work represents the first endeavor to fully implement machine learning model training based on secure two-party computing on the Embedded GPU *** experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of *** an embedded GPU with a power draw of 5 W,our implementation achieved a secure two-party matrix multiplication throughput of 5881.5 kilo-operations per millisecond(kops/ms),with an energy efficiency ratio of 1176.3 kops/ms/***,leveraging our EG-STC framework,we achieved an overall time acceleration ratio of 5–6 times compared to solutions running on server-grade *** solution also exhibited a reduced runtime,requiring only 60%to 70%of the runtime of previously best-known methods on the same *** summary,our research contributes to the advancement of secure and efficient machine learning implementations on resource-constrained embedded

Heterogeneous information network(HIN)has recently been widely adopted to describe complex graph structure in recommendation systems,proving its effectiveness in modeling complex graph *** existing HIN-based recommendation studies have achieved great success by performing message propagation between connected nodes on the defined metapaths,they have the following major *** works mainly convert heterogeneous graphs into homogeneous graphs via defining metapaths,which are not expressive enough to capture more complicated dependency relationships involved on the ***,the heterogeneous information is more likely to be provided by item attributes while social relations between users are not adequately *** tackle these limitations,we propose a novel social recommendation model MPISR,which models MetaPath Interaction for Social Recommendation on heterogeneous information ***,our model first learns the initial node representation through a pretraining module,and then identifies potential social friends and item relations based on their similarity to construct a unified *** then develop the two-way encoder module with similarity encoder and instance encoder to capture the similarity collaborative signals and relational dependency on different *** experiments on five real datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of our method.
