As one of the most popular lightweight ciphers in recent years, LBlock has attracted great *** have explored the security of LBlock against various attacks. We focus on fault attack—one of the most important implementation attacks. In the past two years,fault attacks under the random fault model have been successfully applied to LBlock, supposing faults were injected at the end of the 24 th to the 31 st round. If faults are injected at the end of the 23 rd round, previous attacks only work under the semi-random fault model. For the first time, we address this issue and propose a 23 rd round fault attack under the random fault model. Compared with the previous works, our attack extends the fault injection to earlier round, with reasonable time cost and no extra faults. Experiments show that it only takes 10 faults to recover the secret key.

DBlock is a new family of block ciphers proposed by Wu et al. in Science China in 2015, which consists of three variants specified as DBlock-128/192/***-n employs a 20-round Feistel-type structure with n-bit block size and n-bit key size. We propose the first fault analysis on DBlock and show that no more than 2 pairs of correct/faulty ciphertexts are needed to retrieve the master key. In the attack, a byte-oriented fault is injected in round 16, and three properties including differential distribution of the Sbox, bijection nature of the linear function and Feistel-type key scheduling are fully utilized to distinguish between the correct and wrong keys. A fault position guessing strategy based on known intermediates is adopted, which efficiently makes the known-fault attack apply to the random fault model. The experimental results show that, with a pair of ciphertexts, 11.820-bit exhaustive search is needed to derive the whole 128-bit key on average. With 2 pairs of ciphertexts, the unique key can be determined within 6.5 minutes.

The yield stress of Fe-24Ni-0.3C(wt%)metastable austenitic steel increased 3.5 times(158→551 MPa)when the average grain size decreased from 35μm(coarse-grained[CG])to 0.5μm(ultrafine-grained[UFG]),whereas the tensile elongation was kept large(0.87→0.82).In situ neutron diffraction measurements of the CG and UFG Fe-24Ni-0.3C steels were performed during tensile deformation at room temperature to quantitatively elucidate the influence of grain size on the mechanical properties and deformation *** initial stages of plastic deformation in the CG and UFG specimens were dominated by dislocation slip,with deformation-induced martensitic transformation(DIMT)also occurring in the later stage of *** show that grain refinement increases the initiation stress of DIMT largely and suppresses the rate of DIMT concerning the strain,which is attributed to the following effects.(i)Grain refinement increased the stabilization of austenite and considerably delayed the initiation of DIMT in the//LD(LD:loading direction)austenite grains,which were the most stable grains for *** a result,most of the//LD austenite grains in the UFG specimen failed to transform into martensite.(ii)Grain refinement also suppressed the autocatalytic effect of the martensitic ***,the DIMT with the low transformation rate in the UFG specimen was more efficient in increasing the flow stress and more appropriate to maintain uniform deformation than that in the CG specimen during *** above phenomena mutually contributed to the excellent combination of strength and ductility of the UFG metastable austenitic steel.

Multi-scale contributions are involved in the South China Sea(SCS)summer monsoon(SCSSM)onset *** relative roles of intraseasonal oscillation and above-seasonal component in the year-to-year variation of the SCSSM onset are evaluated in this *** 30-90-day and above-90-day components are major contributors to the year-to-year variation of the SCSSM onset,and the former contributes greater portion,while the 8-30-day component has little contribution to the *** the early onset cases,the 30-90-day westerly winds move and extend eastward from the tropical Indian Ocean(TIO)to the SCS monsoon region relatively earlier,and replace the easterly winds over the SCS with the cooperation of the 30-90-day cyclone moving southward from northern East *** westerly anomalies of the above-90-day component in spring jointly contribute to the early SCSSM *** the late onset cases,the late eastward expansion of 30-90-day westerly wind over the TIO,accompanied by the late occurrence and weakening of the 30-90-day anticyclone over the SCS,and its late withdraw from the SCS,as well as the persistent easterly anomalies of above-90-day component,suppress the SCSSM ***,the SCSSM outbreaks in the obvious weakening stage of 30-90-day easterly *** easterlies-to-westerlies transition of the 30-90-day 850-hPa zonal wind over the SCS in spring is closely associated with sea surface temperature in the tropical western Pacific in preceding winter and spring,while the interannual variation of the above-90-day zonal wind in April-May is closely related to the decaying stage of the El Niño-Southern Oscillation events.

Climate change is one of the biggest health threats of the 21st *** China is the biggest developing country,with a large population and different climate types,its projections of large-scale heat-related excess mortality remain *** particular,the effects of climate change on aging populations have not been well studied,and may result in significantly underestimation of heat *** this study,we took four climate change scenarios of Tier-1 in CMIP6,which were combinations of Shared Socioeconomic Pathways(SSPs)and Representative Concentration Pathways(RCPs).We used the exposure-response functions derived from previous studies combined with baseline age-specific non-accidental mortality rates to project heat-related excess ***,we employed the Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index(LMDI)method to decompose the impacts of climate change,population growth,and aging on heat-related excess ***,we multiplied the heat-related Years of Life Lost(YLL)with the Value of a Statistical Life Year(VSLY)to quantify the economic burden of premature *** found that the heat-related excess mortality would be concentrated in central China and in the densely populated south-eastern coastal *** aging is considered,heat-related excess mortality will become 2.8–6.7 times than that without considering aging in 2081–2100 under different *** contribution analysis showed that the effect of aging on heat-related deaths would be much higher than that of climate *** findings highlighted that aging would lead to a severe increase of heat-related deaths and suggesting that regional-specific policies should be formulated in response to heat-related risks.

An immense amount of information has now accrued about the factors that influence the increment of heat and the efficiency with which the energy of food is used by different animal species. Heat increment is one of the major factors that decrease the efficiency of energy utilization. In growing animals, the free energy content of the basal ATP requirement is typically about one-third of dietary basal heat production （thermogenesis）. Thermogenesis is an evolutionary and biologically significant mechanism for adaptive, homeostatic heat production in animals, including shivering thermogenesis （ST）, nonshivering thermogenesis （NST）, diet-induced thermogenesis （DIT）, febrile response （fever）, and so on. The main focus of this review is on the effect of DIT on energy metabolism.

Excessive use of organophosphate pesticides(OP),such as dichlorvos,in farming system poses a threat to human health through potential contamination of *** date,biodegradation has been prospected most promising approach to eliminate environmental OP *** species as a biological control microorganism is often exposed to the chemical pesticides applied in environments,so it is necessary to understand the mechanism of degradation of dichlorvos by *** this study,dichlorvos significantly inhibited the growth,sporulation and pigmentation of *** T23,and the dichlorvos degradation activity of T23 required the initial induction effect of dichlorvos and the culture conditions,including the nutrient and pH values of the *** changed primary and secondary metabolites released from T23 in the presence of dichlorvos were speculated as the energy and antioxidants for the strain itself to tolerate dichlorvos *** results showed that T23 could produce a series of enzymes,especially the intracellular enzymes,to degrade *** activities of the intracellular enzyme generated by T23 were differentially changed along time course and especially relied on initial dichlorvos concentration,ammonium sulfate and phosphate added in the *** conclusion,some dichlorvos-induced chemical degradation related enzymes of T23 were proved to be involved in the degradation of dichlorvos.
