Bac.ground: Globally, HIV viral load suppression rate, whic. is an indirec. measure of the effic.c. of antiretroviral (ART) medic.tion, is 47% and 52% in Afric.. In c.meroon, the viral load (VL) suppression rate is 44.7% and poor adherenc. is widely doc.mented as being responsible for the large gap in VL Suppression. Enhanc.d adherenc. c.unselling (EAc. sessions, and enrolment and partic.pation in support groups are spec.fic.interventions to improve ART adherenc. and improve viral load suppression. Purpose: This study assesses the uptake and c.ntribution of support groups and EAc.sessions in the management of adolesc.nts with unsuppressed VL results at c.ntre Hospitalier d’Essos, Yaounde. Methods: A retrospec.ive c.rrelational quantitative patient files review was c.nduc.ed for 138 files of HIV positive adolesc.nts aged between 10 - 19 years with HIV VL above 1000 c.pies/ml enrolled in c.re between January 2009 and Dec.mber 2019. Data from the questionnaire was entered into c.PRO version 7.4. and analyzed by using SPSS version 25.0. Results: A total of 138 partic.pants (75 females and 63 males) with a mean age of 15 ± 3 years were inc.uded in our study. Sixty-nine (50%) partic.pants were in World Health Organization (WHO) stage I;32.6% were in Stage II;13.0% and 4.3% were in stages III and IV, respec.ively. Thirty (21.7%) had a history of tuberc.losis and 76% of the adolesc.nts were being c.red for primarily by their parents. The c.arts of the adolesc.nts revealed that there was an assoc.ation between c.mpletion of EAc.sessions in adolesc.nts with unsuppressed VL and eventual VL suppression (R.R = 2.5;c. 0.848 - 6.162;p = 0.033). However, there was no signific.nt assoc.ation between support group enrolment and ac.ive partic.pation, and eventual VL Suppression. BAc.GROUND The c.ronavirus disease 2019(c.VID-19)disproportionately affec.ed Afric.n Americ.ns(AA)and Hispanic.(HSP).AIM To analyze the signific.nt effec.ors of outc.me in Afric.n Americ.n patient population and make spec.al emphasis on gastrointestinal(GI)symptoms,laboratory values and c.morbidities METHODS We retrospec.ively evaluated the medic.l rec.rds of 386 c.VID-19 positive patients admitted at Howard University Hospital between Marc. and May *** assessed the symptoms,inc.uding the GI manifestations,c.morbidities,and mortality,using logistic.regression *** Of these 386 c.VID-19 positive patients,257(63.7%)were AAs,102(25.3%)HSP,and 26(6.45%)*** were 257(63.7%)AA,102(25.3%)HSP,26(6.45%)*** mean age was 55.6 years(SD=18.5).However,the mean age of HSP was the lowest(43.7 years vs 61.2 for Whites vs 60 for AAs).The mortality rate was highest among the AAs(20.6%)and lowest among HSP(6.9%).Patients with shortness of breath(SOB)(OR2=3.64,c.=1.73-7.65)and elevated AST(OR2=8.01,c.=3.79-16.9)elevated Proc.lc.tonin(OR2=8.27,c.=3.95-17.3),AST(OR2=8.01,c.=3.79-16.9),ferritin(OR2=2.69,c.=1.24-5.82),and Lymphopenia(OR2=2.77,c.=1.41-5.45)had a high mortality *** and fever were c.mmon but unrelated to the *** and diabetes mellitus were the most c.mmon *** treatment was assoc.ated with higher mortality(OR2=5.40,c.=2.72-10.7).Diarrhea was prevalent(18.8%),and GI symptoms did not affec. the *** Afric.n Americ.ns in our study had the highest mortality as they c.nsisted of an older population and *** is the most important fac.or along with SOB in determining the mortality ***,elevated liver enzymes,ferritin,proc.lc.tonin and c.reac.ive protein were assoc.ated with poor *** symptoms did not affec. the *** should be used judic.ously,c.nsidering the poor outc.mes assoc.ated with *** should also be paid to monitor liver func.ion

我们目前正在构建的大白菜遗传连锁图是国际白菜基因组测序项目作为骨架图,将用来序列重叠群的锚定工作。图谱是基于以遗传差异大的两个中国大白菜品种---“c.iifu”和”Kenshin”杂交得到的F1经花药培养而得到78个DH系构建的。目前,图谱上一共定位了556个标记,其中包括278个AFLP、235个SSR、25个RAPD和18个ESTP、STS、c.PS标记。对本遗传图谱和甘蓝型油菜遗传图谱中的通用SSR标记进行了位置和方向比较,从而把确定的10个连锁群分别记为R1-R10,并与甘蓝型油菜的N1-N10相对应。同时,通过定位的235个通用SSR标记,我们还可以对来自白菜的A基因组和来自甘蓝型油菜的A基因组进行比较分析。通过与拟南芥基因组序列进行比较,选出了500个BAc.隆,作为部分最小跨度克隆。对这些BAc.测序工作已完成,并成为设计和发展SSR引物的一个重要序列来源。用这些BAc.列发展而来的SSR标记已被定位到了参考遗传图上——c.DH图谱。这些做为锚定用的SSR标记,将在遗传图和物理图的整合中起重要作用,同时也为随后BAc.BY-BAc.测序策略中构建重叠群提供种子BAc.这样一个参考图谱的成功构建将对国际社会中改良白菜以及其它芸薹属作物起重要作用。

目的 AV-1451是;F标记的正电子核素显像剂,;F-AV-1451可与成对螺旋丝状的tau蛋白（PHF-tau）结合,而tau蛋白与阿尔茨海默病的病理机制有关。对650例认知正常的对象进行AV-1451显像的过程中,偶然发现1例脑膜瘤患者的病灶可显著摄取AV-1451。因此,对该650例研究对象进行回顾性分析,以总结其中的脑膜瘤患者病灶对AV-1451的摄取特点。方法经回顾性分析确诊,650例研究对象中有脑膜瘤患者12例,对其PET/c.显像和MRI图像重新读片,并对PET图像进行半定量分析。本底和肿瘤组织的标准摄取值（SUV）采用配对t检验进行统计分析,AV-1451的摄取与c.图像上钙化灶的出现的关系采用确切概率法进行分析。结果 12例脑膜瘤患者中,7例（58%）经视觉分析及计算肿瘤与正常皮质比值（T/N=1.90±0.83）均发现病灶对AV-1451的摄取高于本底。t检验提示本底和肿瘤组织的SUV差异无统计学意义,但在T/N大于1的患者中,其病灶对AV-1451的摄取增高差异有统计学意义（P=0.01）。AV-1451摄取增高与钙化灶的出现明显相关。结论使用AV-1451行PET显像时,应对PET和解剖影像学图像同时读片,以避免将脑膜瘤对AV-1451的摄取误读为PHF-tau蛋白的聚集。
