Extensive use of thermal energy in daily life is ideal for reducing carbon emissions to achieve carbon neutrality;however,the effective collection of thermal energy is a major ***(TE)conversion technology based on the Seebeck effect and thermal energy storage technology based on phase change materials(PCMs)represent smart,feasible,and research-worthy approaches to overcome this ***,the integration of multiple thermal energy sources freely existing in the environment for storage and output of thermal and electrical energy simultaneously still remains a huge ***,three-dimensional(3D)nanostructured metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)are in situ nucleated and grown onto carbon nanotubes(CNTs)via coordination *** calcination,the prepared core-shell structural CNTs@MOFs are transformed into tightened 1D/3D carbon heterostructure loading Co nanoparticles for efficient solar-thermoelectric energy ***,the corresponding composite PCMs show a record-breaking solar-thermal conversion efficiency of 98.1%due to the tightened carbon heterostructure and the local surface plasmon resonance effect of Co ***,our designed all-in-one composite PCMs are also capable of creating an electrical potential of 0.5 mV based on the Seebeck effect without a TE *** promising approach can store thermal and electrical energy simultaneously,providing a new direction in the design of advanced all-in-one multifunctional PCMs for thermal energy storage and utilization.

This article integrates the hierarchical micro-mobility management and the high-speed multihop access networks （HMAN）, to accomplish the smooth handover between different access reuters. The proposed soft handover scheme in the high-speed HMAN can solve the micro-mobility management problem in the access network. This article also proposes the hybrid access muter （AR） advertisement scheme and AR selection algorithm, which uses the time delay and stable route to the AR as the gateway selection parameters. By simulation, the proposed micro-mobility,management scheme can achieve high packet delivery fraction and improve the lifetime of network.

Tracking and quantifying the moisture sources of precipitation in different drainage basins in the Tibetan Plateau(TP)help to reveal basin-scale hydrological cycle characteristics under the interactions between the westerlies and Indian summer monsoon(ISM) systems and to improve our understanding on the mechanisms of water resource changes in the ‘Asian Water Tower' under climate changes. Based on a Eulerian moisture tracking model(WAM-2) and three atmospheric reanalysis products(ERA-I, MERRA-2, and JRA-55), the contributions of moisture sources to the precipitation in six major sub-basins in the TP were tracked during an approximately 35-year period(1979/1980–2015). The results showed that in the upper Indus(UI),upper Tarim River(UT), and Qaidam Basin(QB), the moisture sources mainly extended westward along the mid-latitude westerlies to the western part of the Eurasian continent. In contrast, in the Yarlung Zangbo River Basin(YB), inner TP(ITP), and the source area of three eastern rivers(TER, including the Nujiang River, Lancang River, and yangtze River), the moisture sources extended both westward and southward, but mainly southward along the ISM. In winter and spring, all of the sub-basins were dominated by western moisture sources. In summer, the western sources migrated northward with the zonal movement of the westerlies, and simultaneously the southern sources of the YB, ITP, and TER expanded largely toward the Indian Ocean along the ISM. In autumn, the moisture sources of the UI, UT, and QB shrank to the western sources, and the moisture sources of the YB, ITP, and TER shrank to the central-southern TP and the Indian subcontinent. By quantifying the moisture contributions from multiple sources, we found that the terrestrial moisture dominated in all of the sub-basins, particularly in the UT and QB(62–73%). Impact of the Yellow River capture on the paleoenvironmental changes of Hongze Lake, China

The Yellow River(YR) capture of the Huai River had a profound effect on the landscape evolution,ecology, and social development in China, disrupting the evolution of some vital shallow floodplain *** of the absence of lacustrine sediment provenance analysis, previous studies were inadequate in distinguishing the influence of YR capture on paleoenvironmental changes in these lakes, especially on landscape evolution, redox conditions, lake level changes, and organic productivity. The current study aims to use X-ray fluorescence-core scanning(XRF-CS) and multivariate statistics on a 9.8 m sediment core from Hongze Lake(HZL), China, to analyze the impact of the YR capture on the lake’s paleoenvironmental changes and the sediment provenance simultaneously. High-resolution images, magnetic susceptibility, and XRF-based multi-element data were obtained using a GEOTEK Multi-Sensor Core Logger. The calcium(Ca) content indicates the presence of YR sediment in HZL, given the high Ca content in YR sediment and the identification of mainly exogenous sources of Ca in HZL. The high values of Ca indicate that 48.7% of the sediment in the center of HZL is related to the YR’s incursion. Periods of higher Ca content coincide with periods of higher oxygenation levels of the lake(as indicated by the ratio of manganese to titanium) and lower organic content in the lake sediment(as indicated by the ratio of incoherent to coherent scatter). These analyses reveal that the YR’s capture of HZL significantly increased the lake’s oxygen level. Furthermore, the decrease in the organic content of sediment tends to be the result of the accelerated deposition caused by the YR. The decrease in Ca content coincides with an increase in lake levels(as indicated by magnetic susceptibility). Thus, it can be inferred that the embankment on the eastern side of HZL, built to increase lake storage, has reduced the incursion frequency of the YR.

Agasicles hygrophila has been introduced worldwide as a control agent for the invasive weed Alternanthera ***,global warming has potential impact on its controlling *** aim of this research was to explore the primary factors responsible for the greatly reduced *** population in hot *** imitate the temperature conditions in summers,different developmental stages of hygrophila were treated with high temperatures from 32.5℃ to 45℃ for 1-5 *** on the survival rate,the heat tolerance of each developmental stage was ranked from lowest to highest as follows:egg,1st,2nd,3rd instar larva,adult and *** showed the lowest heat tolerance with 37.5℃ as the critical temperature affecting larval *** treatment of the *** eggs at 37.5℃ for 1 h decreased the hatch rate to 24%.Our results indicated that when compared with the control at 25℃,1 h treatment at 37.5℃ prolonged the duration of the egg stage,shortened the duration of oviposition and total longevity,and changed the reproductive pattern of *** net reproductive rate,intrinsic rate and finite rate were all significantly *** results suggest that low heat tolerance of the eggs was the major factor responsible for the reduction of *** populations,and the key temperature was 37.5°***,appropriate measures should be taken to protect eggs in order to maintain the efficacy of *** in the biological control of *** in hot summers.
