Yinyanghuo(Herba Epimedii Brevicornus) and its components for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease:preclinical evidence and possible mechanisms

OBJECTIVE:To integrate Meta-analysis and bioinformatics strategies in the preliminary exploration of the potential mechanism of Yinyanghuo(Herba Epimedii Brevicornus) and its extract in treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).METHODS:First,Meta-analysis was carried out.The Chinese and English literature of Yinyanghuo(Herba Epimedii Brevicornus) in treating COPD was searched using the systematic strategy of combining subject words with free words.The included studies were evaluated by the SYRCLE risk bias assessment tool,after which the review manager software was used to combine the effect quantities for statistical analysis.Then,based on bioinformatics technology,the active ingredients and their targets of Yinyanghuo(Herba Epimedii Brevicornus) were screened,and the intersection genes were obtained by mapping and comparing with the targets of COPD.The "medicinal materials-compounds-targets model" was constructed,and the key pathways were annotated.Finally,the core target was docked with important compounds.RESULTS:A total of 8 studies were included in the Metaanalysis.The results showed that the Yinyanghuo(Herba Epimedii Brevicornus) group could significantly downregulate pro-inflammatory factors such as tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and interleukin(IL)-8 and increase the expression of anti-inflammatory factors and antioxidant factors such as IL-10 and phospho-protein kinase B(pAKT) in the COPD model(all P < 0.05).A total of 23 active components and 102 corresponding target genes of Yinyanghuo(Herba Epimedii Brevicornus) were obtained by bioinformatics technology,among which 17 compounds and 63 targets were closely related to COPD.The results of enrichment analysis mainly included TNF signaling pathway,phosphoinositide 3-kinase(PI3K)/Akt signaling pathway,cancer signaling pathway,and other inflammatory reactions,oxidative stress,and tumorrelated pathways.The molecular docking results showed that the binding energy fractions of the top five components of 24-epicampesterol with 10 core targets such a

Chinese Cyber Threat Intelligence Named Entity Recognition via RoBERTa-wwm-RDCNN-CRF

In recent years,cyber attacks have been intensifying and causing great harm to individuals,companies,and countries.The mining of cyber threat intelligence(CTI)can facilitate intelligence integration and serve well in combating cyber attacks.Named Entity Recognition(NER),as a crucial component of text mining,can structure complex CTI text and aid cybersecurity professionals in effectively countering threats.However,current CTI NER research has mainly focused on studying English CTI.In the limited studies conducted on Chinese text,existing models have shown poor performance.To fully utilize the power of Chinese pre-trained language models(PLMs)and conquer the problem of lengthy infrequent English words mixing in the Chinese CTIs,we propose a residual dilated convolutional neural network(RDCNN)with a conditional random field(CRF)based on a robustly optimized bidirectional encoder representation from transformers pre-training approach with whole word masking(RoBERTa-wwm),abbreviated as RoBERTa-wwm-RDCNN-CRF.We are the first to experiment on the relevant open source dataset and achieve an F1-score of 82.35%,which exceeds the common baseline model bidirectional encoder representation from transformers(BERT)-bidirectional long short-term memory(BiLSTM)-CRF in this field by about 19.52%and exceeds the current state-of-the-art model,BERT-RDCNN-CRF,by about 3.53%.In addition,we conducted an ablation study on the encoder part of the model to verify the effectiveness of the proposed model and an in-depth investigation of the PLMs and encoder part of the model to verify the effectiveness of the proposed model.The RoBERTa-wwm-RDCNN-CRF model,the shared pre-processing,and augmentation methods can serve the subsequent fundamental tasks such as cybersecurity information extraction and knowledge graph construction,contributing to important applications in downstream tasks such as intrusion detection and advanced persistent threat(APT)attack detection.

Feasibility of LTE-Based GEO Satellite Mobile Communication Systems to Support VoIP for Handheld Terminals

To facilitate the integration of terrestrial and satellite mobile communication systems in the future,the new generation of satellite mobile communication system should be Long-term evolution(LTE)-based.In LTE, voice is carried by Internet protocol(IP)packets(voice over IP, VoIP). The feasibility of LTEbased Geosynchronous earth orbit(GEO) satellite mobile communication systems for Vo IP is discussed. Detailed link budgets are created for typical handheld terminals.The effectiveness of Physical resource block(PRB)bundling and Transmission time interval(TTI) bundling for the capacity improvement of downlink and uplink are evaluated, and further uplink improvement for low level terminals by Narrowband resource block(NRB)scheme is also studied. The analysis results show that the downlink VoIP transmission is mainly power limited, and optimization of PRB or TTI bundling can maximize the capacity. For uplink, only highlevel terminals can support VoIP under the normal LTE frame structure, and TTI bundling and Resource block(RB) block techniques can help the low-level terminals support VoIP transmission.

CDR2IMG:A Bridge from Text to Image in Telecommunication Fraud Detection

Telecommunication fraud has run rampant recently worldwide.However,previous studies depend highly on expert knowledge-based feature engineering to extract behavior information,which cannot adapt to the fastchanging modes of fraudulent subscribers.Therefore,we propose a new taxonomy that needs no hand-designed features but directly takes raw Call DetailRecords(CDR)data as input for the classifier.Concretely,we proposed a fraud detectionmethod using a convolutional neural network(CNN)by taking CDR data as images and applying computer vision techniques like image augmentation.Comprehensive experiments on the real-world dataset from the 2020 Digital Sichuan Innovation Competition show that our proposed method outperforms the classic methods in many metrics with excellent stability in both the changes of quantity and the balance of samples.Compared with the state-of-the-art method,the proposed method has achieved about 89.98%F1-score and 92.93%AUC,improving 2.97%and 0.48%,respectively.With the augmentation technique,the model’s performance can be further enhanced by a 91.09%F1-score and a 94.49%AUC respectively.Beyond telecommunication fraud detection,our method can also be extended to other text datasets to automatically discover new features in the view of computer vision and its powerful methods.

Tonifying kidney therapy for stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease: a systematic review

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of tonifying kidney therapy(Bushen, TK) for stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).METHODS: Randomized controlled trials(RCTs) of TK use for treatment of stable COPD were searched in four databases including Pub Med, the Cochrane Library, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database,and China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database from inception to December 2017. Two reviewers independently screened the literature, extracted the data, and assessed the risk of bias in the included studies. Rev Man 5.3 software was used for the Meta-analysis.RESULTS: Eight RCTs involving 809 patients with stable COPD were included. Compared with the conventional Western Medicine(CWM) group, the TK group(TK combined with CWM) showed significant improvements in the effectiveness rates(RR =1.37, 95% CI 1.22 to 1.53, P < 0.000 01) and 6-min walk distance in meters(MD 11.92, 95% CI 3.52 to20.32, P = 0.005), this study also showed that the TK group can decrease The Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Score(MD-8.01, 95% CI-12.89 to-3.13, P = 0.001). The lung function [forced expiratory volume in one second%(FEV1%), FEV1/forced vital capacity] showed no difference between the TK and control groups.CONCLUSION: For patients with stable COPD, TK can improve the clinical effectiveness and exercise capacity but fail to improve the patient's symptoms. Because of the low methodological quality of the included trials, additional high-quality and large-scale RCTs are required.

Improved Fractional-order Damping Method for Voltage-controlled DFIG System Under Weak Grid

When a doubly-fed induction generator(DFIG)is connected to a weak grid,the coupling between the grid and the DFIG itself will increase,which will cause stability problems.It is difficult to maintain the tracking accuracy and robustness of the phase-locked loop(PLL)in the weak grid,and the risk of instability of the current-controlled DFIG(CC-DFIG)system will increase.In this paper,a new type of voltage-controlled DFIG(VC-DFIG)mode is adopted,which is a grid-forming structure that can independently support the voltage and frequency with a certain adaptability in the weak grid.A small-signal impedance model of the VC-DFIG system is also established.The impedance of DFIG inevitably generates coupling with the grid impedance in the weak grid,especially in parallel compensation grids,and results in resonance.On the basis of the VC-DFIG,impedance stability analysis is performed to study the influences of the control structure and short-circuit ratio.Then,a feedforward damping method is proposed to modify the impedance of the VC-DFIG system at resonance frequencies.The proposed fractional order damping is utilized,which can enhance the robustness and rapidity of resonance suppression under parameter fluctuations.Finally,the experimental results are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

A review on transient stability of land-sea networked fishery microgrids

The islands and offshore fish farming platforms in the deep sea can form a land-sea net-worked fishery microgrids to realize the complementary supply of energy.The fishery microgrid contains a high proportion of renewable energy sources such as wind,solar and waves,and mixed AC and DC loads such as feed machine,energy storage,and fishery robot.Due to the harsh operating environment,the possibility of equipment damage increases,and the requirements for system stability are higher.In this paper,firstly,the definition of transient stability of land-sea networked fishery microgrids is given.Then,the key features of the fishery microgrid is introduced,and the influence of the micro-source interface type,control strategy,current limiting mechanism and load characteristics on the transient stability is expounded.The definition of power Angle of fishery microgrid and the characterization of instability system are given.Next,the research trends of tran-sient stability are sorted out,evaluated and discussed from two aspects:approaches of transient stability analysis and methods to improve transient stability.Finally,the key issues that need to be solved urgently in the research on the transient stability of the land-sea networked fishery microgrids are summarized,and the relevant research direc-tions are prospected.

A Liquid–Solid Interface-Based Triboelectric Tactile Sensor with Ultrahigh Sensitivity of 21.48 kPa-1

Traditional triboelectric tactile sensors based on solid–solid interface have illustrated promising application prospects through optimization approach.However,the poor sensitivity and reliability caused by hard contact-electrification still poses challenges for the practical applications.In this work,a liquid–solid interface ferrofluid-based triboelectric tactile sensor(FTTS)with ultrahigh sensitivity is proposed.Relying on the fluidity and magnetism of ferrofluid,the topography of microstructure can be flexibly adjusted by directly employing ferrofluid as triboelectric material and controlling the position of outward magnet.To date,an ultrahigh sensitivity of 21.48 k Pa;for the triboelectric sensors can be achieved due to the high spike microstructure,low Young’s modulus of ferrofluid and efficient solid–liquid interface contact-electrification.The detection limit of FTTS of 1.25 Pa with a wide detection range to 390 k Pa was also obtained.In addition,the oleophobic property between ferrofluid and poly-tetra-fluoro-ethylene triboelectric layer can greatly reduce the wear and tear,resulting in the great improvement of stability.Finally,a strategy for personalized password lock with high security level has been demonstrated,illustrating a great perspective for practical application in smart home,artificial intelligence,Internet of things,etc.

Climate change has emerged as one of the major challenges worldwide.Since the First Industrial Revolution,the discovery and utilization of fossil energy has promoted the great prosperity and development of human society.Meanwhile,serious issues of environmental and climate change have arisen.In May 2021,CO_(2) concentration in the atmosphere reached 419.13 ppm,observed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration(NOAA)of US,which arrives at the highest value in human history[1].The CO_(2)-based greenhouse gas emissions lead to global warming,which causes a serious threat to the survival of human being as well as sustainable development of society.In September 2020,it was announced that China would scale up its nationally determined contributions and adopt more vigorous policies and activities to peak carbon dioxide emissions before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060.
