Unraveling magnetic properties and martensitic transformation in Mn-rich Ni-Mn-Sn alloys:first-principles calculations and experiments

We have investigated the phase stability,magnetic properties,and martensitic transformation thermodynamics/kinetics of the Ni_(24-x)Mn_(18+x+y)Sn_(6-y)(x,y=0,1,2)system by combining the first-principles calculations and *** calculation results show that the optimized lattice parameters are consistent with the experimental ***,we obtain the relation equation for the austenite formation energy(E_(form-A))and Mn content(X_(Mn)):E_(form-A)=507.358X_(Mn)-274.126,as well as for the six-layer modulated(6M)martensite formation energy(E_(form-6M))and Ni content(X_(Ni)):E_(form-6M)=-728.484X_(Ni)+*** ternary phase diagram of the total magnetic moment was *** excess Mn will reduce the total magnetic moment of 6M(Mag6M)and non-modulated(NM)(MagNM)martensites,with the following equations relating the total magnetic moment and Mn content:Mag_(6M)=-15.905X_(Mn)+7.902and Mag_(NM)=-14.781X_(Mn)+7.411,while the effect on austenite is *** variation of total magnetic moment is mainly dominated by the Mn atomic magnetic *** 3d electrons of Mn_(Sn)(Mn at Sn sublattice)play an important role in magnetic properties from the perspective of the electronic density of *** on the thermodynamics of martensitic transformation,the alloys will likely undergo austenite?6M?NM transformation *** the thermodynamic and kinetic results,the martensitic transformation temperature decreases with x increasing and increases with y *** results are expected to provide reference for predicting the phase stability and magnetic properties of NiMn-Sn alloys.

Perspective of Calcium Imaging Technology Applied to Acupuncture Research

Acupuncture, a therapeutic treatment defined as the insertion of needles into the body at specific points(ie, acupoints), has growing in popularity world-wide to treat various diseases effectively, especially acute and chronic pain. In parallel, interest in the physiological mechanisms underlying acupuncture analgesia, particularly the neural mechanisms have been increasing. Over the past decades, our understanding of how the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system process signals induced by acupuncture has developed rapidly by using electrophysiological methods. However, with the development of neuroscience, electrophysiology is being challenged by calcium imaging in view field, neuron population and visualization in vivo. Owing to the outstanding spatial resolution, the novel imaging approaches provide opportunities to enrich our knowledge about the neurophysiological mechanisms of acupuncture analgesia at subcellular, cellular, and circuit levels in combination with new labeling, genetic and circuit tracing techniques. Therefore, this review will introduce the principle and the method of calcium imaging applied to acupuncture research. We will also review the current findings in pain research using calcium imaging from in vitro to in vivo experiments and discuss the potential methodological considerations in studying acupuncture analgesia.

Light plays an important role in the photosynthesis and metabolic process of ***,how different light conditions regulate the biomass production and protein accumulation of microalgae is mostly *** this study,the influence of different light conditions,including light colors,densities,and light:dark cycles on the cell growth and biochemical composition of Spirulina platensis was symmetrically *** different colored lights,*** all shows an increase trend within the increased light intensity ranges;however,each showing different optimal light *** the same light intensity,different colored lights show different growth rate of *** following the sequence of red>white>green>yellow>*** maximum growth rate and protein accumulation were determined as 21.88 and 5.10 mg/(L·d)when illuminated under red *** energy efficiency of different light sources was calculated and ranked as red>white>blue≈green>*** analysis suggests that red light can promote cell growth and protein accumulation by upregulating genes related to photosynthesis,carbon fixation,and C-N metabolism *** study provides a conducive and efficient way to promote biomass production and protein accumulation of *** by regulating light conditions.

Segmental nature of the Red river fault revealed by seismic anisotropy and geological structures

As the western boundary of the Sichuan-Yunnan block(SYB),the Red river fault(RRF)is a major fault that controls deep crustal movement and deformation in the southeast margin of the Tibetan Plateau and regulates middle-lower crustal *** data suggest that the RRF is segmented and exhibits distinct variations in seismicity,velocity structure and crustal deformation from north to *** anisotropy reveals a complex pattern of lateral spatial and vertical stratified distributions.(1)From the perspective of crustal stratification,in the upper crust,the fast wave polarization in the north segment of the RRF is complex and possibly influenced by the Sanjiang lateral collision zone and adjacent faults with varying *** fast wave polarization in the middle segment is in the NW-SE direction,indicating a localized area of closed down or locked up with consistent *** in the south segment,it presents a disordered pattern,signifying complex deep tectonics and stress conditions at the wedged intersection *** the middle-lower crust in the north and south segments of the RRF,the azimuthal anisotropy is strong and consistent with the spatial strike of the weak zone characterized by low-velocity and *** suggests a connection between the anisotropy and the material migration.(2)In the whole crustal scale,the fast wave directions in two sides of the RRF are consistent with the NW-SE tectonic *** indicates that the RRF,as a large fault potentially cutting through the whole crust,strongly controls the surrounding media.(3)In the lithospheric scale,the fast wave polarizations are oriented nearly E-W and independent of the fault strike,consistent with the low P-and S-wave velocity structures and positive radial anisotropy in the upper *** fast wave directions could be related to lithospheric olivine deformation and asthenospheric *** paper suggests a decoupling of deformation between the crust and the lithospheri

Detecting compromised accounts caused by phone number recycling on e-commerce platforms: taking Meituan as an example

Phone number recycling(PNR)refers to the event wherein a mobile operator collects a disconnected number and reassigns it to a new *** has posed a threat to the reliability of the existing authentication solution for e-commerce ***,a new owner of a reassigned number can access the application account with which the number is associated,and may perform fraudulent *** solutions that employ a reassigned number database from mobile operators are costly for e-commerce platforms with large-scale ***,alternative solutions that depend on only the information of the applications are *** this work,we study the problem of detecting accounts that have been compromised owing to the reassignment of phone *** analysis on Meituan's real-world dataset shows that compromised accounts have unique statistical features and temporal *** on the observations,we propose a novel model called temporal pattern and statistical feature fusion model(TSF)to tackle the problem,which integrates a temporal pattern encoder and a statistical feature encoder to capture behavioral evolutionary interaction and significant operation *** experiments on the Meituan and IEEE-CIS datasets show that TSF significantly outperforms the baselines,demonstrating its effectiveness in detecting compromised accounts due to reassigned numbers.

Highly thermally conductive graphitic film(GF)materials have become a competitive solution for the thermal management of high-power electronic ***,their catastrophic structural failure under extreme alternating thermal/cold shock poses a significant challenge to reliability and ***,we present the first investigation into the structural failure mechanism of GF during cyclic liquid nitrogen shocks(LNS),which reveals a bubbling process characterized by“permeation-diffusion-deformation”*** overcome this long-standing structural weakness,a novel metal-nanoarmor strategy is proposed to construct a Cu-modified graphitic film(GF@Cu)with seamless *** well-designed interface ensures superior structural stability for GF@Cu after hundreds of LNS cycles from 77 to 300 ***,GF@Cu maintains high thermal conductivity up to 1088 W m^(−1)K^(−1)with degradation of less than 5%even after 150 LNS cycles,superior to that of pure GF(50%degradation).Our work not only offers an opportunity to improve the robustness of graphitic films by the rational structural design but also facilitates the applications of thermally conductive carbon-based materials for future extreme thermal management in complex aerospace electronics.

Mars, the intriguing red planet, is one of the planets most similar to the Earth in our solar system. It is widely accepted that Mars could have had a warm and wet climate in its early history supported by numerous lines of evidence, e.g. topography, canyons, outflow channels, presence of phyllosilicates and evaporative salts,sedimentary formation, and many others (e.g.[1]), and thus Mars is believed to once have a potentially habitable environment which could be able to supply fundamental conditions for the evolution of potential lives.

Recent innovations in nanomaterials inspire abundant novel tumor-targeting CriSPR-based gene ***,the therapeutic efficiency of traditional targeted nanotherapeutic strategies is limited by that the biomarkers vary in a spatiotemporal-dependent manner with tumor ***,we propose a self-amplifying logic-gated gene editing strategy for gene/H_(2)O_(2)-mediated/starvation multimodal cancer *** this approach,a hypoxia-degradable covalent-organic framework(COF) is synthesized to coat a-ZIF-8 in which glucose oxidase(GOx) and CriSPR system are *** intensify intracellular redox dyshomeostasis,DNAzymes which can cleave catalase mRNA are loaded as *** the nano system gets into the tumor,the weakly acidic and hypoxic microenvironment degrades the ZIF-8@COF to activate GOx,which amplifies intracellular H^(+)and hypoxia,accelerating the nanocarrier degradation to guarantee available CriSPR plasmid and GOx release in target *** tandem reactions deplete glucose and oxygen,leading to logic-gated-triggered gene editing as well as synergistic gene/H_(2)O_(2)-mediated/starvation ***,this approach highlights the biocomputing-based CriSPR delivery and underscores the great potential of precise cancer therapy.

Effect of mesopore spatial distribution of HZSM-5 catalyst on zinc state and product distribution in 1-hexene aromatization

1-hexene aromatization is a promising technology to convert excess olefin in fluid catalytic cracking(FCC)gasoline to high-value benzene(B),toluene(T),and ***,the increasing market demand of xylene has put forward higher requirements for new generation of *** increasing xylene yield in 1-hexene aromatization,the effect of mesopore structure and spatial distribution on product distribution and Zn loading was *** with different mesopore spatial distribution were prepared by post-treatment of parent HZSM-5 zeolite,including NaOH treatment,tetra-propylammonium hydroxide(TPAOH)treatment,and *** was found the evenly distributed mesopore mainly prolongs the catalyst lifetime by enhancing diffusion properties but reduces the aromatics selectivity,as a result of damage of micropores close to the catalyst *** the selectivity of high-value xylene can be highly promoted when the mesopore is mainly distributed interior the ***,the state of loaded Zn was also affected by mesopores spatial *** the optimized catalyst,the xylene selectivity was enhanced by 12.4%compared with conventional Zn-loaded parent HZSM-5 catalyst at conversion over 99%.It was attributed to the synergy effect of mesopores spatial distribution and optimized acid *** work reveals the role of mesopores in different spatial positions of 1-hexene aromatization catalysts in the reaction process and the influence on metal distribution,as well as their synergistic effect two on the improvement of xylene selectivity,which can improve our understanding of catalyst pore structure and be helpful for the rational design of high-efficient catalyst.
