MOST rare earth ions are inclined to exist in abnormal valency, and the properties of rare earth correspond to the valence state of rare earth closely Both europium and terbium have abnormal valence state. Eu3+ and Tb3+ ions are a couple of conjugate rare earth ions; they are both important activated ions. The present note reports the luminescent properties of SrB6O10 xEu, yTb phosphors which are synthesized in air atmosphere. Eu3+, Eu2. and Tb3+ ions can coexist in SrB6O10: xEu, yTb phosphors, and the emission intensity of europium（Ⅱ） is increased if the concentration of terbium（Ⅲ） is increased in SrB6O10: 0.006Eu3+, yTb3+

Mg-based alloys are regarded as highly promising materials for hydrogen *** significant improvements of the properties for Mg-based alloys,challenges such as slow hydrogen absorption/desorption kinetics and high thermodynamic stability continue to limit their practical *** this study,to assess hydrogen storage alloys with enhanced properties,incorporating both internal microstructure modulation through the preparation of amorphous/nanocrystalline structures and surface property enhancement with the addition of Cu and carbon nanotubes(CNTs),the kinetic properties of activation and hydrogenation,thermodynamic properties,and dehydrogenation kinetics are *** results reveal a complementary interaction between the added Cu and CNTs,contributing to the superior hydrogen storage performance observed in sample 7A-2.u-1CNTs with an amorphous/nanocrystalline structure compared to the other experimental ***,the samples are fully activated after the initial hydrogen absorption and desorption cycle,demonstrating outstanding hydrogenation kinetics under both high and low temperature experimental *** noteworthy is that the hydrogen absorption exceeds 1.8 wt.% within one hour at 333 ***,the activation energy for dehydrogenation is decreased to 64.71 kJ·mol^(–1).This research may offer novel insights for the design of new-type Mg-based hydrogen storage alloys,which possess milder conditions for hydrogen absorption and desorption.

Novel phosphates, Na5-2. Yb2.Ce1-x (PO4)3·yH2.(x=0-1, y=0-1), were synthesized under mild hydrothermal conditions at 2.0℃ with Ce(SO4)2.H2., Ce(SO4)2.2.NH4)2.O4· 4H2., CeO2. Yb2.3, 85 % H3PO4 and NaOH as the starting materials. The products were sensitively influenced by the pH value of the systems and reaction temperature. Under an acidic condition, CePO4 was the product at 2.0℃, in which Ce(Ⅳ ) species was reduced to Ce(Ⅲ) species. Under a weak basic condition, Na2.e(PO4)2.0. 79H2. was produced. Under a medium basic condition, the expected compound Na5Ce(PO4)3 was the product. Under a basic condition, CeO2.was the final product, amorphous phase was also produced in some cases. The structure of the compounds were investigated by X-ray diffraction, SEM, IR, Raman, 31P MAS NMR and XPS spectroscopies. To determine the valence of Ce in the compound, EPR and DRS of the compound were also recorded. The thermal properties of the compounds were determined with DTA-TG analysis. Na5Ce(PO4)3 was decomposed into Na3Ce(PO4)2. Na4P2.7 and O, at 694℃, in which Ce(Ⅳ) was reduced to Ce(Ⅲ) species. Na3Yb2.PO4)3·H2. lost water and was transferred into a new phase at a high temperature 682.. The thermal stability of Na5-2.Yb2.Ce1-x (PO4)3· yH2. could be improved by increasing x value. When x=0. 54, the compound was stable even at the temperature ca. 1 000℃.The ionic conductivities of the compounds were increased when the amount of Yb in the compound was increased and when x=0. 33, it reached the highest value (σ300℃= 3. 96 ×10-6 S·cm-1).

Electrocatalytic reduction of nitrate(NO_(3)^(−))and nitride(NO_(2.^(−))to ammonia(NH3)is of wide interest as a promising alternative to the energy-intensive Haber-Bosch route for mitigating the vast energy consumption and the accompanied carbon dioxide emission,as well as benefiting for the relevant sewage ***,exploring an efficient and low-cost catalyst with high atomic utilization that can effectively facilitate the slow multi-electron transfer process remains a grand ***,we present an efficient hydrogenation of NO_(3)^(−)/NO_(2.^(−)species to NH3 in both alkaline and neutral environments over the Fe_(2.(MoO_(4))_(3)derived hybrid electrocatalyst with the metallic Fe site on FeMoO_(4)(Fe/FeMoO_(4)).The Mo ingredient can play a synergistically positive role in further promoting the NH_(3) production on *** a result,Fe/FeMoO_(4)behaves well in the electrochemical NH_(3) generation from NO_(2.^(−)with a maximum NH_(3) Faradaic efficiency(FE)of 96.53%and 87.68%in alkaline and neutral electrolyte,corresponding to the NH_(3) yield rate of 640.68 and 302.56 mg·h^(−1)·mg_(cat.)^(−1),respectively,which outperforms the Fe and Mo counterpart and other similar catalyst,showing the robust catalytic capacity of each active site.

A comparison of polyacetylenes （PA） prepared with rare earth（Ln） and titanium（Ti） basedcatalyst systems in regard to the isomerization rate, conductivity and doping behaviour is *** is found that PA synthesized with Ln-catalyst showed the lower isomerization rate than *** temperature conductivity of I2.doped Ln-PA is higher than that of Ti-PA under the sameconditions, this might related to the uniform conjugation length of Ln-PA. The difference in thedoping behaviors was observed for cis and trans PA films. and the complicated doping behavioursof cis-PA could be attributed to the simultaneously occurring isomerization reaction during doping.

The title complex [Yb2.u3 （O2.CH2.I ）12.（H2.）8]·2.2.（Mr=1838. 73） crystallized in monoclinic space group P2./c, with a=10. 42. （6 ）, b= 17.953（4）, c=15. 193（4）A, β=100. 18（1）, V=2.98（2. A3, Z=2. Dc=2.18 g/cm3, R=0. 066, Rw=0. 081 for 3653 unique reflections with I＞ 3（I）, u=50. 9cm-1, F （000）=1782. in which the Cu and Yb atoms are bridged uniquely bychloroacetate groups. The Cu atoms display two types of coordination spheres, a fourcoordinate distorted square and a five-coordinate square pyramid, and the coordinationgeometry of each Yb atom is a square antiprism.

Ultra-high nickel cobalt-free lithium layered oxides are promising cathode material for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)because of their relatively high capacity and low ***,the high nickel content would induce bulk structure degradation and interfacial environment deterioration,and the absence of Co element reduces the lithium diffusion kinetics,severely limiting the performance liberation of this kind of ***,a multifunctional Ti/Zr dual cation co-doping strategy has been employed to improve the lithium storage performance of LiNi_(0.9)Mn_(0.1)O_(2.(NM91)*** the one hand,the Ti/Zr co-doping weakens the Li^(+)/Ni^(2.)mixing through magnetic interactions due to the inexistence of unpaired electrons for Ti^(4+)and Zr^(4+),increasing the lithium diffusion rate and suppressing the harmful coexistence of H1 and H2.*** the other hand,they enhance the lattice oxygen stability because of the strong Ti-O and Zr-O bonds,inhibiting the undesired H3 phase transition and lattice oxygen loss,improving the bulk structure and cathode-electrolyte interface *** a result,the Ti/Zr co-doped NM91(NMTZ)exhibits a 91.2.capacity retention rate after 100 cycles,while that of NM91 is only82.9%.Also,the NMTZ displays better rate performance than NM91 with output capacities of 115 and93 mA h g^(-1)at a high current density of 5 C,***,the designed NMTZ could enable the full battery to deliver an energy density up to 2.3 W h kg^(-1),making the ultra-high nickel cobaltfree lithium layered oxide cathode closer to practical applications.
