Spinal cord organoids are three-dimensional tissues derived from stem cells that recapitulate the primary morphological and functional characteristics of the spinal cord in *** emerging bioengineering methods have led to the optimization of cell culture protocols,spinal cord organoids technology has made remarkable advancements in the past *** literature search found that current spinal cord organoids do not only dynamically simulate neural tube formation but also exhibit diverse cytoarchitecture along the dorsal-ventral and rostral-caudal ***,fused organoids that integrate motor neurons and other regionally specific organoids exhibit intricate neural circuits that allows for functional *** qualities make spinal cord organoids valuable tools for disease modeling,drug screening,and tissue *** utilizing this emergent technology,researchers have made significant progress in investigating the pathogenesis and potential therapeutic targets of spinal cord ***,at present,spinal cord organoid technology remains in its infancy and has not been widely applied in translational *** of the next generation of spinal cord organoids will depend on good manufacturing practice standards and needs to focus on diverse cell phenotypes and electrophysiological functionality evaluation.

Ice and snow tourism in China has grown significantly since the country successfully hosted the Beijing Winter *** conditions profoundly impact the development of ice and snow tourism;however,most studies have focused on constructing different climate suitability indicators for ice and snow tourism to evaluate individual regions,lacking horizontal comparative studies across multiple *** study aims to enrich the connotation of climate suitability for ice and snow sports,establish an evaluation model based on snowfall amount,temperature,and wind speed,and use daily meteorological data from 1991 to 2021 to horizontally compare the climate suitability for ice and snow sports in major ski tourism destinations in *** study boasts four major findings:1)the average ice and snow sports climate index of each region decreases over time,and the overall suitability of the climate for ice and snow sports is reducing;2)northern Xinjiang exhibits the most evident regional differentiation from‘very suitable’to‘generally suit-able’;3)the spatial zoning of climate suitability for ice and snow sports exhibits heterogeneity,as northern Xinjiang is divided into two‘suitable and above’zones with rotating empirical orthogonal function(REOF).Correspondingly,the four provinces of Hebei,Hei-longjiang,Jilin,and Liaoning are divided into three‘generally suitable and above’zones;4)snowfall amount is the main factor affect-ing the climate suitability of ice and snow sports in the major ski tourist destinations in China.

Infectious disease departments in hospitals require pressure gradient to create unidirectional airflow to prevent the spread of contaminants,typically by creating active air infiltration through the difference between supply and exhaust air *** door gap is the channel of air flow between rooms,so its height has an important influence on the pressure difference and infiltration air volume of the *** is still a lack of research on setting reasonable ventilation strategies according to the different heights of door gaps at different positions in the *** this study,model of a set of isolation wards was established and analyzed using the multi-zone simulation software CONTAM,and the ventilation strategies with different heights of door gaps were applied to the actual infection diseases *** results show that in a building with ventilation system divided by functional area,the difference in the height of the door gaps requires different active infiltration air *** fluctuations in the medical and patient corridors are greater than in other *** significance of this study is to understand the active infiltration of air to guide the design and operation of ventilation systems in infectious disease hospitals or building remodeled to isolate close contacts of COVID-19 *** is also instructive for the design of pressure gradients in clean workshops,biological laboratories,and other similar buildings.

In a highly competitive market,excellent advertising translation can better promote *** adopting the three principles of Skopos Theory,this paper discusses the E-C translation strategies of commercial advertisements based on specific advertising translation cases,and proposes translation methods of literal translation,free translation,paraphrase,and augmentation,as well as rhetorical methods of homophonic puns,aiming to improve the quality of commercial advertisement translations,enhance the publicity effect,and achieve brand marketing.

We previously demonstrated that normal high-density lipoprotein(nHDL)can promote angiogenesis,whereas HDL from patients with coronary artery disease(d HDL)is dysfunctional and impairs *** plays a critical role in angiogenesis,and HDL regulates ***,it is unclear whether n HDL and d HDL regulate angiogenesis by affecting *** cells(ECs)were treated with n HDL and d HDL with or without an autophagy ***,endothelial nitric oxide synthase(e NOS)expression,miRNA expression,nitric oxide(NO)production,superoxide anion(O2^(·-))generation,EC migration,and tube formation were evaluated.n HDL suppressed the expression of miR-181a-5p,which promotes autophagy and the expression of e NOS,resulting in NO production and the inhibition of O2^(·-)generation,and ultimately increasing in EC migration and tube formation.d HDL showed opposite effects compared to n HDL and ultimately inhibited EC migration and tube *** found that autophagy-related protein 5(ATG5)was a direct target of ***5 silencing or miR-181a-5p mimic inhibited n HDL-induced autophagy,e NOS expression,NO production,EC migration,tube formation,and enhanced O2^(·-)generation,whereas overexpression of ATG5 or miR-181a-5p inhibitor reversed the above effects of d ***5 expression and angiogenesis were decreased in the ischemic lower limbs of hypercholesterolemic low-density lipoprotein receptor null(LDLr^(-/-))mice when compared to C57BL/6 ***5 overexpression improved angiogenesis in ischemic hypercholesterolemic LDLr^(-/-)*** together,nHDL was able to stimulate autophagy by suppressing miR-181a-5p,subsequently increasing e NOS expression,which generated NO and promoted *** contrast,d HDL inhibited angiogenesis,at least partially,by increasing miR-181a-5p expression,which decreased autophagy and e NOS expression,resulting in a decrease in NO production and an increase in O2^(·-)*** findings reveal a nov

The highly reversible insertion/extraction of large-radius K^+into electrode materials remains a tough goal,especially for con version-type ***,we design a current collector-integrated electrode(N-CoSe/CoSe_(2)-C@Cu) as an advanced anode for potassium-ion battery(PIBs).The conductive CoSe/CoSe_(2) heterojunction with rich Se vacancy defects,conductive sp^2 N-doped carbon layer,and the elastic copper foil matrix can greatly accelerate the electron transfer and enhance the structural ***,the well-designed N-CoSe/CoSe_(2)-C@Cu current collector-integrated electrode displays enhanced potassium storage performance with regard to a high capacity(325.1 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.1 A·g^(-1) after 200cycles),an exceptional rate capability(223.5 mAh·g^(-1) at2000 mA·g^(-1)),and an extraordinary long-term cycle stability(a capacity fading of only 0.019% per cycle over1200 cycles at 2000 mA·g^(-1)).Impressively,ex situ scanning electron microscopy(SEM) characterizations prove that the elastic structure of copper foil is merged into the cleverly designed N-CoSe/CoSe_(2)-C@Cu heterostructure,which buffers the deformation of structure and volume and greatly promotes the cycle life during the potassium/depotassium process.

Advanced atomic tracking techniques play a critical role in characterizing structural evolution,elucidating fundamental mechanisms of exotic phenomena and tailoring delicate *** driven structural modulation in 2D crystals,such as the charge density wave(CDW),often leads to intriguing quantum properties,making them a valuable platform for exploring fundamental physics and potential device ***,despite their significance,experimental studies addressing atomic tracking of thermally-driven structural evolution in 2D crystals have been ***,we utilize high-accuracy variable-temperature atomic tracking measurements with scanning tunneling microscopy(STM)to directly observe a series of structural transitions in a model 2D crystal,namely NbSe_(2).With the atomic tracking technique,we confirm the existence of the universal thermally-driven CDW transition hysteresis between the heating and cooling *** transition hysteresis,characterized by a constant temperature offset,represents a new phenomenon of structural *** findings provide a feasible method to track CDW transitions at the atomic scale in 2D crystals,significantly contributing to a better understanding and the potential modulation of these materials'functions in nanodevices.
