Objective The main aim of this study is to investigate whether acupuncture could be an effective complementary treatment for reducing the risk of macrovascular complications in diabetic patients currently taking antidiabetic medications using a nationwide population-based *** We conducted a retrospective cohort study to assess the efficacy of acupuncture on cardiovascular complications in diabetic patients using data from patients between 40 and 79 years of age,newly diagnosed with diabetes between 2003 and 2006,found in the National Health Insurance Service-National Sample Cohort(NHIS-NSC)in *** the data,we identified 21,232 diabetic patients who were taking antidiabetic medication between 2003 and *** selected patients were divided into two groups-those who received acupuncture at least three times and those who received no acupuncture(non-acupuncture)in the year following their diagnosis of *** 1:1 propensity score matching(PSM),each group had 3350 patients,and the observation ceased at the occurrence of a major adverse cardiovascular event(MACE),which was defined as either myocardial infarction,stroke,or death due to cardiovascular *** After PSM,the acupuncture group had a lower incidence of MACE(hazard ratio[HR]:0.87;95%confidence interval[CI]:0.81-0.94;P=0.0003)and all-cause mortality(HR:0.77;95%CI:0.70-0.84;P<0.0001)than the non-acupuncture group;the HRs for stroke-related mortality(HR:0.75;95%CI:0.56-1.00;P=0.0485),ischemic heart disease mortality(HR:0.53;95%CI:0.34-0.84;P=0.006)and circulatory system disease mortality(HR:0.67;95%CI:0.55-0.82;P<0.0001)were lower in the acupuncture group than in the non-acupuncture group in the secondary *** Our results indicate that diabetic patients receiving acupuncture treatment might have a lower risk of MACE,all-cause mortality and cardiovascular *** population-based retrospective study suggests beneficial effects of acupuncture in preventing macro

Reasonable seismic response analysis of a high rockfill dam is of great engineering significance in guiding its design and ensuring its seismic safety during operation,especially of a concrete-faced rockfill dam(CFRD)on overburden *** three-dimensional seismic behavior of the Miaojiaba CFRD is simulated and analyzed by the finite element method(FEM).The results indicate that:1)the amplification coefficient along the dam axis gradually increases with the altitude,and reaches maximum at the dam crest;2)the vertical residual deformation mainly exhibits downwards and reaches maximum near the dam crest;3)the earthquake significantly aggravates the deformation of peripheral joints;4)the impounding condition and overburden characteristics have great effects on the dam's seismic response.

The discovery of Asgard archaea and the exploration of their diversity over the last 6 years have deeply impacted the scientific community working on eukaryogenesis,rejuvenating an intense debate on the topology of the universal tree of life(uTol).Here,we discuss how this debate is impacted by two recent publications that expand the number of Asgard lineages and eukaryotic signature proteins(ESPs).We discuss some of the main difficulties that can impair the phylogenetic reconstructions of the uTol and suggest that the debate about its topology is not *** notably hypothesize the existence of horizontal gene transfers between ancestral Asgards and proto-eukaryotes that could result in the observed abnormal behaviors of some Asgard ESPs and universal marker *** hypothesis is relevant regardless of the scenario considered regarding *** implies that the Asgards were already diversified before the last eukaryotic common ancestor and shared the same biotopes with *** suggest that some Asgards might be still living in symbiosis today with modern Eukarya.

【目的】研究不同海拔高度对芜菁营养成分的影响,分析芜菁在青海省的适生区范围,为芜菁种植选择最佳适生区以及提高资源利用率提供重要的依据。【方法】选取不同来源的13份芜菁为材料,比较分析芜菁在青海省西宁市(海拔2261 m,A处理)、青海省海南藏族自治州贵南县(海拔3100 m,B处理)和青海省玉树藏族自治州玉树市小苏莽乡(海拔3750 m,C处理)3个不同海拔的地区种植对其营养成分的影响。【结果】随着海拔高度的增加,芜菁的可溶性双缩脲蛋白质含量增加、总糖含量增加、亚硝酸盐含量增加、硝态氮含量降低、含水量降低,而海拔高度对芜菁抗坏血酸含量、总抗氧化能力和粗纤维含量没有显著影响,表现为在B处理下,抗坏血酸含量高于其他两个地区,总抗氧化能力更强,粗纤维含量比较高。海拔高度与总糖、亚硝酸盐含量呈极显著正相关,与可溶性糖、硝态氮含量呈极显著负相关;土壤理化性质与可溶性蛋白、可溶性糖、总糖、硝态氮和亚硝酸盐含量具有相关性。【结论】在不同海拔地区芜菁含有的营养成分间存在显著差异,4份材料(1402、W_(30)、昌都和玉树芫根)在海拔2261和3100 m的地区各营养成分含量表现更优,1份材料(W 22)在海拔为3750 m的地区营养含量表现更佳。9个营养指标中有4个与海拔高度达到显著性相关;土壤理化性质与营养成分含量具有相关性。

聚合物复合材料因其优异的自润滑、高化学稳定性和减振降噪等特性而备受关注。以水作为工作介质的水润滑轴承具有环境友好、维护成本低及结构设计简单等特点,已被广泛应用于船舶、水电和化工等领域。首先总结了水润滑轴承用聚合物复合材料特性,归纳了聚合物复合材料在水润滑条件下的摩擦学性能及磨损机制,介绍了提高聚合物复合材料摩擦学性能的常规方法,并进一步探讨了材料内部结构、摩擦界面微观结构与材料宏观摩擦学特性的内在关联。指出促进水润滑聚合物-金属配副摩擦界面原位生长固体润滑特性转移膜,可弥补水膜润滑能力不足、显著提高配副的摩擦学性能,深入研究水润滑状态下复合材料的微观摩擦磨损机制,对于理解水润滑配副的摩擦学机理有重要的意义。

The CRISPR/Cas9 system has been tailored to a revolutionary genetic tool because of its remarkable simplicity and *** complex genome editing in the mouse since the 1990 s has been dominated by the use of embryonic stem（ES） cells,CRISPR/Cas9 now offers a versatile and fast approach to precisely modify virtually any DNA regions directly in mouse ***,this relative simplicity does not preclude a conscientious preparatory work that is often neglected when initiating a ***,we describe the key steps leading to successful generation of a double knockout（KO） mouse by simultaneously targeting two homolog genes,Tmem176 a and Tmem176 b,which are located in the same genomic ***,we show that similar efficiency can be obtained in a mixed genetic background or directly in the C57BL/6 inbred ***,presented as a detailed case study that should be helpful to the non-specialists,we focus on the genotyping strategy to anticipate the various possibilities.
