In Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs),Clustering process is widely utilized for increasing the lifespan with sustained energy stability during data *** clustering protocols were devised for extending network lifetime,but most of them failed in handling the problem of fixed clustering,static rounds,and inadequate Cluster Head(CH)selection criteria which consumes more *** this paper,Stochastic Ranking Improved Teaching-Learning and Adaptive grasshopper Optimization Algorithm(SRITL-AgOA)-based Clustering Scheme for energy stabilization and extending network *** SRITL-AgOA selected CH depending on the weightage of factors such as node mobility degree,neighbour's density distance to sink,single-hop or multihop communication and Residual Energy(RE)that directly influences the energy consumption of sensor *** specific,grasshopper Optimization Algorithm(gOA)is improved through tangent-based nonlinear strategy for enhancing the ability of global *** the other hand,stochastic ranking and violation constraint handling strategies are embedded into Teaching-Learning-based Optimization Algorithm(TLOA)for improving its exploitation ***,SR and VCH improved TLOA is embedded into the exploitation phase of AgOA for selecting better CH by maintaining better balance amid exploration and *** results confirmed that the proposed SRITL-AgOA improved throughput by 21.86%,network stability by 18.94%,load balancing by 16.14%with minimized energy depletion by19.21%,compared to the competitive CH selection approaches.

The present study focuses on the synthesis and characterization of lanthanum(La3+)-doped calcium nanoferrites(CaLaxFe2-xO4:x=0.025,0.050,0.075 and 0.100) using the sonochemical *** techniques were employed to analyze the effect of La3+infusion,Raman spectroscopy confirms the presence of active A1g,T2gand Egmodes in the CaLaxFe2-xO4nanoferrite,indicating the formation of an active ferrite *** introduction of La3+doping results in a significant increase in the band gap energy,rendering the nanoferrites insulating（3.23-3,57 eV）.At higher frequencies,the impedance studies reveal minimal losses and better AC conductivity,pointing to improved dielectric *** higher frequencies,the Q-factor of La-doped calcium nanoferrites shows lower electromagnetic *** M-H curve exhibits ferromagnetic behavior,with La3+-doped calcium nano ferrites displaying a saturation magnetization ranging from 12.72 to 18.10 emu/*** incorporation of La3+also induces enhanced electrical polarization,leading to notable dielectric loss and increased absorption of electromagnetic ***,these CaLaxFe2-xO4nanoferrites demonstrate potential as effective microwave absorbers across a wide frequency range,with significant shielding absorption observed at 8.8-9.1 gHz.

In today’s manufacturing industries,hard competition between rival firms makes it compulsory for researchers to design lighter and cheaper machine components due to the megatrends of cost-effectiveness and *** this point,aluminum syntactic foams(ASFs)are new-generation engineering composites and come into the upfront as a *** to their features like low density,sufficient elongation,and perfect energy absorption ability,these advanced foams have been considerably seductive for many industrial sectors *** this study,an industrial-oriented automatic die casting technology was used for the first time to manufacture the combination of AA7075/porous expanded clay(pEC).Micro evaluations(optical and FESEM)reveal that there is a homogenous particle distribution in the foam samples,and inspections are compatible with the other ASF ***,T6 aging heat treatment was operated on one half of the produced foams to explore the probable impact of aging on the compressive *** results show that pEC particles can be an alternative to expensive hollow spheres used in the previous ***,a favorable relationship is ascertained between the aging treatment and mechanical properties such as compression strength and plateau strength.

Looking back at over a decade of research by herself and her group,the author advocates the added value of gas phase measurements and the application of mass balances,as well as the synergetic benefits obtained when combining *** increased application of off-gas measurements for greenhouse gas emission monitoring offers a great opportunity to look at other components in the gas phase,particularly *** balances should not be strictly reserved for modellers but also prove useful while conducting lab experiments and studying full-scale measurement *** off-gas measurements with mass balances may serve not only to quantify greenhouse gas emission factors and aeration efficiency but also to follow dynamic concentration profiles of dissolved components without dedicated sensors and/or to calculate other unmeasured ***-balance-based data reconciliation allows for obtaining reliable and accurate data,and even more when combined with off-gas analysis.

Mean nocturnal baseline impedance in gastro-esophageal reflux disease diagnosis:Should we strictly follow the Lyon 2 Consensus?

Clinical practice guidelines drive clinical practice and clinicians rely to them when trying to answer their most common *** of the most important position papers in the field of gastro-esophageal reflux disease(gERD)is the one produced by the Lyon *** an updated second version has been *** nocturnal baseline impedance(MNBI)was proposed by the first Consensus to act as supportive evidence for gERD *** a cut-off of 2292 Ohms was proposed,a value revised in the second *** updated Consensus recommended that an MNBIgly suggests gERD while a value>2500 Ohms can be used to refute *** proposed cut-offs move in the correct direction by diminishing the original cut-off,nevertheless they arise from a study of normal subjects where cut-offs were provided by measuring the mean value±2SD and not in symptomatic ***,data exist that even symptomatic patients with inconclusive disease or reflux hypersensitivity(RH)show lower MNBI values in comparison to normal subjects or patients with functional heartburn(FH).Moreover,according to the data,MNBI,even among symptomatic patients,is affected by age and body mass ***,various studies have proposed different cut-offs by using receiver operating characteristic curve analysis even lower than the one ***,no information is given for patients submitted to on-proton pump inhibitors pH-impedance studies even if new and extremely important data now ***,even if MNBI is an extremely important tool when trying to approach patients with reflux symptoms and could distinguish conclusive gERD from RH or FH,its values should be interpreted with caution.

Emission colour tuning in KLnF_(4):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)/Ho^(3+)phosphor

KLnF_(4):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)/Ho^(3+)(Ln=Y,Yb,gd)phosphors were prepared by solid-state reaction *** each of the Yb^(3+)/Er^(3+)and Yb^(3+)/Ho^(3+)co-doped phosphors independently,phase confirmation and morphological examination were accomplished using the X-ray diffraction technique and scanning electron microscope analysis.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis shows the charge state and existence of lanthanides and *** luminescence emissions of green and red colour were detected for the synthesized *** changes in the upconverted emission intensities and colour output pertaining to the change of the lanthanide host matrix along with dopants were investigated for the prepared *** the upconversion luminescence,erbium-doped samples exhibit a predominance of red emission while holmium-doped samples display a prevalence of green *** rare-earth Er/Ho doped KYbF4shows strong red emission compared to other ***_(4):Yb,Er/Ho exhibits relatively significant green upconve rsion emissions,while Yb,Er-doped KgdF_(4)host displays a 10-fold increase in green/red emission ratio with an increase in the input power of 20-780 *** photoluminescence studies and decay curve analysis were carried out using UV light excitation for the developed phosphors.A higher lifetime of 2.2 ms was measured for the downshifting red emission in the Ho doped KYbF_(4)*** study suggests a potential for colour tunability in the upconversion and downshifting emissions through host modifications to the fluoride phosphor.

pUNet: A Semi-Supervised Anomaly Detection Model for Network Anomaly Detection Based on positive Unlabeled Data

Network anomaly detection plays a vital role in safeguarding network security. However, the existing network anomaly detection task is typically based on the one-class zero-positive scenario. This approach is susceptible to overfitting during the training process due to discrepancies in data distribution between the training set and the test set. This phenomenon is known as prediction drift. Additionally, the rarity of anomaly data, often masked by normal data, further complicates network anomaly detection. To address these challenges, we propose the pUNet network, which ingeniously combines the strengths of traditional machine learning and deep learning techniques for anomaly detection. Specifically, pUNet employs a reconstruction-based autoencoder to pre-train normal data, enabling the network to capture potential features and correlations within the data. Subsequently, pUNet integrates a sampling algorithm to construct a pseudo-label candidate set among the outliers based on the reconstruction loss of the samples. This approach effectively mitigates the prediction drift problem by incorporating abnormal samples. Furthermore, pUNet utilizes the CatBoost classifier for anomaly detection to tackle potential data imbalance issues within the candidate set. Extensive experimental evaluations demonstrate that pUNet effectively resolves the prediction drift and data imbalance problems, significantly outperforming competing methods. © 2024 The Authors. published by Tech Science press.
