He-enhanced heterogeneity of radiation-induced segregation in FeNiCoCr high-entropy alloy

Radiation-induced segregation(RIS) is a typical non-equilibrium process that can dramatically alter the behavior of defect sinks and material properties under irradiation. However, RIS mechanisms have been rarely studied around small He bubbles owing to the technical challenges involved in direct measurements of local chemistry. Here, using state-of-the-art atom probe tomography, we report the RIS behavior near He bubbles in the Fe Ni Co Cr high-entropy alloy that indicates Co segregates most strongly, followed by weaker Ni segregation, whereas Fe and Cr are depleted almost to the same degree. Exceptionally, the magnitude of Co segregation around He bubbles is higher than previously measured values at voids and dislocation loops. Electron energy-loss spectroscopy was used to measure the He density and pressure inside individual bubbles. We demonstrate that He bubbles are over-pressurized at the irradiation temperature that could result in the vacancy bias and the subsequent vacancy-dominated RIS ***-principles calculations further reveal that there are repulsive interactions between He and Co atoms that may reduce the frequency of Co-vacancy exchange. As a result, He atoms likely retard Co diffusion via the vacancy mechanism and enhance the heterogeneity of RIS in Co-containing multicomponent alloys. These insights could provide the basis for understanding He effects in nuclear materials and open an avenue for tailoring the local chemical order of medium-and high-entropy alloys.

L12-strengthened high entropy alloys(HEAs)with excellent room and high-temperature mechanical prop-erties have been proposed as promising candidates as structural materials for advanced nuclear ***,knowledge about their radiation response is fairly *** the present work,a novel HEA with a high density of L12 nanoparticles was irradiated with He ion at 500°*** electron microscope(TEm)and atom probe tomography(APT)were employed to study the evolution of mi-crostructural stability and radiation-induced *** to the single-phase FeCoNiCr HEA,the main microstructural features were numerous large faulted dislocation loops and helium *** the irradiation resistance of the present L12-strengthened HEA is much improved in terms of reduced bubble size,which could be attributed to the considerable He trapping efficiency of the coherent pre-cipitate/matrix interface and the enhanced capability of the interface for damage elimination when the matrix channel width is *** analysis revealed that an inverse-Kirkendall-mechanism-dominated radiation-induced segregation(RIS)occurs around bubbles,where a significant Co enrichment and Ni de-pletion can be clearly *** addition,the competing dynamics of ballistic mixing and elemental clustering that raised from the irradiation-enhanced diffusion in a highly supersaturated matrix,along with the low precipitation nucleation barrier due to the small lattice misfit,lead to a dynamical pre-cipitation dissolution and re-precipitation appears under *** a promising phenomenon is expected to promote a potential self-healing effect and could in turn provide a sustainable irradiation tolerance over the operational lifetime of a reactor.

上层海洋混合过程的动力学研究和数值模拟一直是海洋和气象学家关注的重点之一,其中上层海洋垂向混合参数化方案的不准确直接影响海洋模式的模拟效果。风生海浪对海气相互作用以及上层海洋的内部混合都起到极为重要的作用。本文基于包含垂向层结效应的海浪生湍流混合系数理论模型,开展不同层结条件下海浪生湍流混合系数的分布变化特征分析。构建了一维理想解析实验和准全球算例,结果表明,在100 m以浅的上层海洋中,混合层深度与上述混合系数呈现较为显著的负相关关系,当跃层或混合层深度较大时能够显著增强垂向混合过程,进而使表层暖水下降至更深的位置,加深混合层深度模拟结果。主要原因是由于深跃层条件下表层的层结效应较弱,因而对混合的抑制作用较小。此外,在准全球算例中海浪生湍流混合方案可显著提高海洋环流模式对上层海洋温度结构的模拟能力,模式对跃层处WOA13实测数据的模拟精度最高可提升60%以上。

目的对纳米磁微粒化学发光法平台(纳博克)检测临床样本中的总IgE抗体和过敏原特异性IgE抗体进行方法学比对。方法参考美国临床和实验室标准协会的相关文件,针对总IgE抗体以及屋尘螨D1/粉尘螨D2/交链孢霉m6/蟑螂I6/猫上皮E1/艾蒿W6/牛奶F2/蛋白F1/小麦F4/虾F24/花生F13共计11项过敏原,对纳博克和ImmunoCAP系统的一致性采用卡方检验和Kappa检验进行比较及评价。结果11项过敏原两种方法学比对的Kappa值均>0.75,表明两种方法学具有较好的一致性。除了交链孢霉和小麦两项外,其余项目的阴性、阳性、总符合率和±1级符合率均在90%以上,表明两种方法学的定性一致性良好;Spearman相关系数(r)均位于95%置信区间(CI)内,表明两种方法学的量值具有显著相关性。结论纳博克纳米磁微粒化学发光法过敏原检测平台与ImmunoCAP系统具有良好的一致性,前者的样本用量更少,是一种建议临床推广使用的全定量过敏原检测方法学。

The rational design of materials at atomic scale as efficient and stable electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)is critical for energy ***,we report a novel hybrid nanostructure with iridium(Ir)and cobalt(Co)atomic pair configuration anchored in porous nitrogen-doped carbon(pNC)nanosheets(denoted as IrCo-pNC)for electrocatalytic *** investigations and theoretical calculations reveal that the interaction between Ir and Co species in pNC promotes electron accumulation and depletion around isolated Ir and Co atoms,respectively,resulting in a local asymmetry electron density *** functional theory calculations also suggest that the electrons transfer from Co to adjacent Ir atom causing the down shift of the d-band center of Ir 5d in IrCo-pNC catalyst,thus optimizing the adsorption of hydrogen on Ir *** as-prepared IrCo-pNC exhibits significant HER performance with an overpotential of 21 mV to achieve a current density of 10 mA·cm^(−2)in 0.5 m *** work provides insight into the role of asymmetry electron density distribution in nanomaterials in regulating HER electrocatalysis.

Barrier and compensation layers in the East China Sea

Climatology of the isothermal layer depth （ILD） and the mixed layer depth （mLD） has been produced from in-situ temperaturesalinity observations in the East China Sea （ECS） since 1925. The methods applied on the global are used to compute the ILD and the mLD in the ECS with a temperature criterion AT=0. 8 ℃ for the ILD, and a density criterion with a threshold △σθ corresponding to fixed △T=0. 8 ℃ for the mLD, respectively. With the derived climatology ILD and mLD, the monthly variations of the barrier layer （BL） and the compensation layer （CL） in the ECS are analyzed. The BL mainly exists in the shallow water region of the ECS during April-June with thickness larger than 15 m. From December to next march, the area along the shelf break from northeast of Taiwan Island to the northeast ECS is characterized by the CL. Two kinds of main temperature - salinity structures of the CL in this area are given.

Can the Shanghai LNg Price Index indicate Chinese market?An econometric investigation using price discovery theory

China became the world's second largest liquefied natural gas(LNg)importer in 2018 but has faced extremely high import costs due to a lack of bargaining *** of the Shanghai LNg Price Index,first released in 2015,are vital for improving the understanding of these cost *** paper,using the LNg price index data from the Shanghai Petroleum and gas Exchange(SHPgX)coupled with domestic and international LNg prices from July 1,2015 to December 31,2018,estimates several econometric models to evaluate the long-term and short-term equilibriums of the Shanghai LNg Price Index,the responses to market information shocks and the leading or lagging relationships with LNg and alternative energy prices from other *** results show that the LNg price index of the SHPgX has already exhibited a long-term equilibrium and short-term adjustment mechanisms to reflect the average price level and market movements,but the market information transparency and price discovery efficiency of the index are still ***'s LNg market is still relatively independent of other natural gas markets,and marketization reforms are under way in *** influence of the SHPgX LNg price index on the trading decisions of market participants is expected to improve with further development of China's LNg reforms,the formation of a natural gas entry-exit system,and the increasing liquidity of the hub.

Double　Kelvin　waves　along　the　Okinawa　Trough　in　the　East　China　Sea－Ⅰ　Analytic　solutions　and　observations

This study analytically examines the possible presence of double Kelvin waves along the OkinawaTrough in the East China *** only was the response of sea level to transient and time-periodic wind forcingfrom the north confirmed following mysak (1969),but also to steady-state and moving wind forcings was examined according to the realistic wind fields in the East China *** Kelvin waves generated by these forcings,due to the discontinuous depth trapping, propagate southward and disperse. Finally,these dispersivewaves shift to free *** moored current meter observations in summer and winter of 1987 along the Okinawa Trough supported the analytic *** was a southward propagating current fluctuation with aspeed of 0. 32 m/s along the escarpment which was documented by Lin and guo(1990).

Observations and analysis of environment and acoustic field changed by the passage of typhoon Damrey in the Yellow Sea in 2012

In order to investigate the environment and acoustic filed change induced by typhoon in shallow sea, we conducted two experiments just before and after the passage of typhoon Damrey, which is the strongest to affect the area north of the Yangtze River since 1949, in the Yellow sea in 2012. The data show that the temperature of the whole water column increases dramatically except the sea surface layer after the passage of Damrey while the salinity decreases obviously. The thermocline deepens and weakens, which leads to a change of internal wave activity. The transmission losses(TL) of the two experiments show that the environment change induced by typhoon can increase the TL as large as 8 d B at a distance of 9.2 km and depth of 15 m. The scintillation index(SI) of the sound intensity is simulated to estimate the change of the effect of internal wave activity on acoustic field showing that the SI decreases to a half after the typhoon's passage. The normal mode structures of the two experiments are also significantly different due to the thermocline changes. In addition, the signal arrives earlier after the typhoon's passage due to the water temperature increase.

A　numerical　model　on　sea　surface　wind　of　typhoon　and　its　hindcasting　calibration

A numerical model on typhoon sea surface wind is developed and then tested. The model is devided into two parts. The first part is the derivation of the vertically averaged boundary layer dynamic equation and fromthe equation, a quasi-steady state of vertically averaged wind field of typhoon for a given pressure field is obtained ;the second part is to convert vertically averaged wind to that at 10-m elevation. With observed marex buoy data ofthree typhoon cases in the South China Sea, the model wind is *** results show that, at buoy sites, the correlation coefficient is about 0. 95 between the hindcast and the observed wind speeds. The error statistics show that the error of maximum value of wind speed is smaller than 2 m/s and the absolute mean relative error of wind speeds about 10% and wind direction 15°or so. With the hindcastwind as an input of the third generation wave model, the wave hindcast results are also well calibrated.
