Effect of Y content and equal channel angular pressing on the microstructure, texture and mechanical property of extruded Mg-Y alloys

The microstructure, texture and mechanical property evolution of the extruded Mg-x Y(x = 1, 5 wt.%) alloys during equal channel angular pressing(ECAP) were systematically investigated using an optical microscope, electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD) and uniaxial tensile test. The Mg-Y alloys exhibited a weakened basal texture before the ECAP, and the texture was further weakened with the max basal poles dispersed along ~45° between the extrusion direction and the transverse direction after the ECAP. The Mg-5 Y alloys always exhibited a finer grain size comparing to that of Mg-1 Y for the same ECAP process. With a proper ECAP process, both the strength and elongation of Mg-5 Y alloy could be improved simultaneously after the ECAP, i.e., the yield strength(273.9 ± 1.2 MPa), ultimate strength(306.4 ± 3.0 MPa),and elongation(23.9 ± 1.0%) were increased by 10%, 6%, and 72%, respectively, comparing to that before the ECAP. This was considered to be arose from the combined effects of grain refinement, significant improved microstructure homogeneity and solid solution *** addition, it was found that Mg-Y alloy with better comprehensive properties could be obtained by the decreasing-temperature ECAP processes. The yield strength-grain size relationship could be well described by the Hall-Petch relation for all the ECAPed Mg-Y alloys,which was consistent with that the texture changes did not significantly affect the average Schmid factors of basal, prismatic and pyramidal slips for both Mg-Y alloys.

Improved mechanical properties and strengthening mechanism with the altered precipitate orientation in magnesium alloys

Aging prior to twinning deformation was proposed to alter the precipitate orientation of the plate-shapedβ-MgAlfrom(0002)basal planes(named basal plates)to■prismatic planes(named prismatic plates)in AZ31 Mg *** experimental results showed that the compressive yield strength(CYS)of the sample containing prismatic plates increased 40 MPa and the compression ratio raised by 22%compared to that containing basal *** underlying strengthening mechanism was analyzed via a yield strengthen(YS)model with a function of grain size,precipitate characters(size,oritention,fraction)and Schmid factor(Sf).It revealed that the improvement of CYS was mainly attributed to the altered precipitate orientation and refined grain size produced by twinning ***,the prismatic plates always have a stronger hardening effect on basal slip than basal plates under the same varites of precipitate diameter and ***,the decreased CRSS ratio of prismatic slip to basal slip revealed that the activity of non-basal slip in Mg alloy might be *** activated slip systems provided more mobile dislocations,contributing to the large compression ratio of the Mg rolled sheet with prismatic plates.

Supermassive black holes(SMBHs)are ubiquitous in the center of galaxies,although the origin of their massive seeds is still *** this paper,we investigate the formation of SMBHs from the quantum chromodynamics(QCD)axion *** this case,primordial black holes(PBHs)are considered as the seeds of SMBHs,which are generated from the QCD axion bubbles due to an explicit Peccei–Quinn(PQ)symmetry breaking after *** QCD axion bubbles are formed when the QCD axion starts to oscillate during the QCD phase *** consider a general case in which the axion bubbles are formed with the bubble effective angle θ_(eff)∈(0,π],leading to the minimum PBH mass∼■(10^(4)−10^(7))M⊙for the axion decay constant f_(a)∼■(10^(16))*** PBHs at this mass region may account for the seeds of SMBHs.

Cotton leaf disease detection method based on improved SSD

In response to the problems of numerous model parameters and low detection accuracy in SSD-based cotton leaf disease detection methods,a cotton leaf disease detection method based on improved SSD was proposed by combining the characteristics of cotton leaf ***,the lightweight network MobileNetV2 was introduced to improve the backbone feature extraction network,which provides more abundant semantic information and details while significantly reducing the amount of model parameters and computing complexity,and accelerates the detection speed to achieve real-time ***,the SE attention mechanism,ECA attention mechanism,and CBAM attention mechanism were fused to filter out disease target features and effectively suppress the feature information of jamming targets,generating feature maps with strong semantics and precise location *** test results on the self-built cotton leaf disease dataset show that the parameter quantity of the SSD_MobileNetV2 model with backbone network of MobileNetV2 was 50.9%of the SSD_Vgg model taking Vgg as the *** with SSD_Vgg model,the P,R,f1 values,and mAP of the MobileNetV2 model increased by 4.37%,3.3%,3.8%,and 8.79%respectively,while fPS increased by 22.5 frames/*** SE,ECA,and CBAM attention mechanisms were introduced into the SSD_Vgg model and SSD_MobileNetV2 *** gradient weighted class activation mapping algorithm to explain the model detection process and visually compare the detection results of each *** results indicate that the P,R,f1 values,mAP and fPS of the SSD_MobileNetV2+ECA model were higher than other models that introduced the attention ***,this model has less parameter with faster running speed,and is more suitable for detecting cotton diseases in complex environments,showing the best detection ***,the improved SSD_MobileNetV2+ECA model significantly enhanced the semantic information of the shallow feature map of the model,and has a goo

Perfuorinated compounds(PfCs)are toxic and widely present in the environment,and therefore effective adsorbents are required to remove PfCs from environmental *** the present study,a new type of fuorinated biomass materials was synthesized via an ingenious fuorosilanization *** adsorbents were applied for the adsorption of 13typical PfCs,including perfuorocarboxylic acids(PfCAs)and perfuorosulfonic acids(PfSAs).By comparing their adsorption performance,fluorinated cedar slag(fCS)was discovered to have the best absorption efficiency and enabled highly efficient enrichment of *** adsorption recovery of fCS with the investigated PfCs is greater than 90%under the optimal adsorption *** to the high affinity of f-f sorbent-sorbate interaction,fCS had good adsorption capacities of PfCs from aqueous solution,with the maximum adsorption capacity of 15.80 mg/g for PfOS and 10.71 mg/g for PfOA,***,the adsorption time could be achieved in a short time(8 min).Using the fCS absorbent,an innovative fCS-solid phase extraction assisted with high performance liquid chromatography-electrospray-tandem mass spectrometry(fCS-SPE-HPLC-ESI-MS/MS)method was first developed to sensitively detect PfCs in the environmental water *** intra-day and inter-day recovery rates of the 13 compounds ranged from 90.7%-104.3%,with the RSD of 2.1%-4.7%(intra-day)and 2.5%-8.5%(inter-day),*** research demonstrates the potential of the newly fuoro-functionalized plant biomass to adsorb PfCs from environmental water,with the advantages of high adsorption efficiencies,high antiinterference,easy operation and low economic cost.

Efficacy comparison of fruquintinib,regorafenib monotherapy or plus programmed death-1 inhibitors for microsatellite stable metastatic colorectal cancer

genomic profiling of colorectal cancer in large-scale Chinese patients:amplification and somatic mutations in ERBB2

Objectives:Human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-targeted therapies have demonstrated potential benefits for metastatic colorectal cancer(mCRC)patients with HER2 amplification,but are not satisfactory in cases of HER2 mutant ***:Consequently,further elucidation of amplifications and somatic mutations in erythroblastic oncogene B-2(ERBB2)is *** genomic profiling was conducted on 2454 Chinese CRC cases to evaluate genomic alterations in 733 cancer-related genes,tumor mutational burden,microsatellite instability,and programmed death ligand 1(PD-L1)***:Among 2454 CRC patients,85 cases(3.46%)exhibited ERBB2 amplification,and 55 cases(2.24%)carried ERBB2 mutation.p.R678Q(28%),p.V8421(24%),and p.S310f/Y(12%)were the most prevalent of the 16 detected mutation *** comparison to the ERBB2 altered(alt)group,KRAS/BRAf mutations were more prevalent in ERBB2 wild-type(wt)samples(ERBB2wt ***2alt,KRAS:50.9%vs.25.6%,pf:8.5%vs.2.3%,pf CRCs with ERBB2 mutation exhibited microsatellite instability high(MSI-H),while no cases with HER2 amplification displayed *** genes varied between ERBB2 copy number variation(CNV)and ERBB2 single nucleotide variant(SNV);TP53 alterations tended to co-occur with ERBB2 amplification(92.3%)as opposed to ERBB2 mutation(58.3%).KRAS and PIK3CA alterations were more prevalent in ERBB2 SNV cases(KRAS/PIK3CA:45.8%/31.2%)compared to ERBB2 amplification cases(KRAS/PIK3CA:14.1%/7.7%).Conclusion:Our study delineates the landscape of HER2 alterations in a large-scale cohort of CRC patients from *** findings enhance our understanding of the molecular features of Chinese CRC patients and offer valuable implications for further investigation.
