Semi-analytical investigation of heat transfer in a porous convective radiative moving longitudinal fin exposed to magnetic field in the presence of a shape-dependent trihybrid nanofluid

The thermal examination of a non-integer-ordered mobile fin with a magnetism in the presence of a trihybrid nanofluid(Fe_3O_4-Au-Zn-blood) is carried out. Three types of nanoparticles, each having a different shape, are considered. These shapes include spherical(Fe_3O_4), cylindrical(Au), and platelet(Zn) configurations. The combination approach is utilized to evaluate the physical and thermal characteristics of the trihybrid and hybrid nanofluids, excluding the thermal conductivity and dynamic viscosity. These two properties are inferred by means of the interpolation method based on the volume fraction of nanoparticles. The governing equation is transformed into a dimensionless form, and the Adomian decomposition Sumudu transform method(ADSTM) is adopted to solve the conundrum of a moving fin immersed in a trihybrid nanofluid. The obtained results agree well with those numerical simulation results, indicating that this research is reliable. The influence of diverse factors on the thermal overview for varying noninteger values of γ is analyzed and presented in graphical representations. Furthermore, the fluctuations in the heat transfer concerning the pertinent parameters are studied. The results show that the heat flux in the presence of the combination of spherical, cylindrical, and platelet nanoparticles is higher than that in the presence of the combination of only spherical and cylindrical nanoparticles. The temperature at the fin tip increases by 0.705 759% when the value of the Peclet number increases by 400%, while decreases by 11.825 13% when the value of the Hartman number increases by 400%.

Despite their potential for providing important information for paleobiogeography,studies using ostracod assemblages compiled from global datasets have been scarce so *** this study,the paleogeographic implications of the relationship between different ostracod assemblages are analyzed and discussed for the Albian and *** compiled an ostracod dataset at the genus level,with 168 genera for the Albian and 174 for the cenomanian,to which different multivariate statistical methods of grouping were *** affinity between different ostracod assemblages from different regions allowed for the delineation of 30 operational geographic units(OgUs)for the Albian,and 32 OgUs for the cenomanian,grouped in three paleobiogeographic units(PbUs;Megatethys,Persia,and Austral)and one sub-unit(PbSU;Maghreb associated to the Megatethys).The Maghreb PbSU showed minor changes between the Albian and *** relationship among the OgUs grouped in each PbU is related to different factors,such as eustatic sea level events,similar climatic zones,and marine current circulation patterns.A relationship was observed between the gabon and Nigeria OgUs with the Persia PbU,which suggests a direct east—west connection between them during the *** affinity observed in the Austral PbU between the South American,South African,and Australian regions during the Albian can be explained by their relative geographic isolation due to the Walvis Ridge *** eventual flooding of this barrier led to the relationship observed between the SE brazilian and bolivian regions with the Austral ***,the data also suggested that the separation of the Indian subcontinent from the Austral PbU took place during the cenomanian.

background:Infectious keratitis is a major cause of global *** tested whether standalone photoactivated chromophore corneal cross-linking(PAcK-cXL)may be an efective frst-line treatment in early to moderate infectious keratitis,compared with standard antimicrobial ***:This is a randomized,controlled,multinational phase 3 clinical *** in fve centers in Egypt,India,Iran,Israel,and china,aged≥18 years,with infectious keratitis of presumed bacterial,fungal,or mixed origin,were randomly assigned(1:1)to PAcK-cXL,or antimicrobial *** measures included healing,defned as time to re-epithelialization of the corneal epithelial defect in the absence of infammatory activity in the anterior chamber and clearance of stromal *** success was defned as the complete resolution of signs of ***:between July 21,2016,and March 4,2020,participants were randomly assigned to receive PAcK-cXL(n=18)or antimicrobial therapy per American Academy of Ophthalmology(AAO)guidelines(n=21).No participants were lost to *** eyes were excluded from the epithelialization time analysis due to treatment failure:two in the antimicrobial therapy group,and two in the PAcK-cXL *** rates were 88.9%(16/18 patients)in the PAcK-cXL group and 90.5%(19/21 patients)in the medication *** was no signifcant diference in time to complete corneal re-epithelialization(P=0.828)between both treatment ***:PAcK-cXL may be an alternative to antimicrobial drugs for frst-line and standalone treatment of early to moderate infectious keratitis of bacterial or fungal origin.

This article,we develop an optimal policy to control the service rate of a discrete time queueing-inventory system with finite *** customers arrive according to a bernoulli process and the service time for the customers are *** the buffer size attains its maximum,any arriving new customers are considered to be *** customers are served one by one according to FcFS rule and each customers request random number of *** inventory is replenished according to a(s,Q)inventory policy with geometric lead *** main objectives of this article are to determine the service rates to be employed at each slot so that the long run expected cost rate is minimized for fixed inventory level and fixed buffer size and to minimize the expected waiting time for a fixed inventory level and fixed buffer *** problems are modelled as Markov decision *** establish the existence of a stationary policy and employ linear programming method to find the optimal service *** provide some numerical examples to illustrate the behaviour of the model.

The great catastrophe: causes of the Permo-Triassic marine mass extinction

The marine losses during the Permo-Triassic mass extinction were the worst ever experienced. All groups were badly affected, especially amongst the benthos(e.g. brachiopods, corals, bryozoans, foraminifers,ostracods). Planktonic populations underwent a fundamental change with eukaryotic algae being replaced by nitrogen-fixing bacteria, green-sulphur bacteria, sulphate-reducing bacteria and prasinophytes. Detailed studies of boundary sections, especially those in South china, have resolved the crisis to a ～55 kyr interval straddling the Permo-Triassic boundary. Many of the losses occur at the beginning and end of this interval painting a picture of a two-phase extinction. Improved knowledge of the extinction has been supported by numerous geochemical studies that allow diverse proposed extinction mechanisms to be studied. A transition from oxygenated to anoxic-euxinic conditions is seen in most sections globally, although the intensity and timing shows regional variability. Decreased ocean ventilation coincides with rapidly rising temperatures and many extinction scenarios attribute the losses to both anoxia and high *** kill mechanisms include ocean acidification for which there is conflicting support from geochemical proxies and, even less likely, siltation(burial under a massive influx of terrigenous sediment) which lacks substantive sedimentological evidence. The ultimate driver of the catastrophic changes at the end of the Permian was likely Siberian Trap eruptions and their associated carbon dioxide emissions with consequences such as warming, ocean stagnation and acidification. Volcanic winter episodes stemming from Siberian volcanism have also been linked to the crisis, but the short-term nature of these episodes(cades) and the overwhelming evidence for rapid warming during the crisis makes this an unlikely cause. Finally, whilst the extinction is well studied in equatorial latitudes, a different history is found in northern boreal latitudes

gravity models given by higher-order scalar curvature corrections are believed to bear important consequences. Einstein-bel-Robinson (EbR) gravity with quartic curvature modification motivated Sajadi et al. to explore static spherically symmetric black hole solutions using perturbative methods. In this study, inspired by their work, we investigate AdS black hole shadows in EbR gravity and demonstrate how the gravity parameter alters the energy emission rate. Finally, we address the same problem in the presence of plasma, because the black holes are thought to be surrounded by a medium that changes the geodesic of photons.

Fault Location Method for Overhead Feeders with Distributed generation Units based on Direct Load Flow Approach

This paper proposes a novel fault location method for overhead feeders,which is based on the direct load flow *** method is developed in the phase domain to effec-tively deal with unbalanced network conditions,while it can al-so handle any type of distributed generation(Dg)units without requiring equivalent *** utilizing the line series parame-ters and synchronized or unsynchronized voltage and current phasor measurements taken from the sources,the method reli-ably identifies the most probable faulty *** the aid of an index,the exact faulty section among the multiple candi-dates is *** simulation studies for the IEEE 123-bus test feeder demonstrate that the proposed method accu-rately estimates the fault position under numerous short-circuit conditions with varying pre-fault system loading conditions,fault resistances,and measurement *** proposed meth-od is promising for practical applications due to the limited number of required measurement devices as well as the short computation time.

The mechanical response of a single crystal titanium sample against(0001)α surface impact was investigated using molecular dynamics ***,non-uniform plastic deformation was observed in the *** high strain rates,amorphization occurred near the edge of the contact region where severe shear strain induced a large number of stacking faults(SFs)and *** contrast,the central part of the contact region underwent less deformation with significantly fewer ***,instead of amorphization by consuming SFs and dislocations,there was a gradual increase in the density of dislocations and SFs during the process of *** local amorphous regions eventually grew into shear bands.
