Stimulating renewable energy consumption is a major focus of the Sustainable Development goals in combating climate change and global *** International Energy Agency estimates that renewable energy consumption should be doubled to achieve the COP21 *** this context,the question is whether renewable energy types promote the improvement of ecological quality and economic *** studies have investigated the influence of renewable energy on ecological pollution using carbon dioxide emissions or ecological footprint indicators,which only represent the pollution caused by human consumption patterns,and these indicators neglect the supply *** by this point,this study uses the LCF(Load Capacity Factor)as an environmental indicator and examines the causality relationship among different types of renewable energy,income,and environmental quality in the USA,while also incorporating employment and capital stock into the *** using the Fourier causality test with the wavelet-decomposed series,the study explores for the validity of the renewable energy-based growth hypothesis and answers to the question of whether there is a causal effect of renewable energy types on environmental *** results demonstrate that there is a bidirectional causality between total renewable energy,wood,biomass,and economic growth as well as between these renewable energy types and the LCF.

This study analyzes the impact of biomass energy,financial development,and economic growth on environmental quality using the novel Fourier autoregressive distributed lag(ARDL)approach on annual data for the period 1965–2018 in the United States(USA).The study analyzes the impact of related variables on the load capacity factor(LCF)as well as on indicators of environmental degradation such as carbon dioxide emissions and ecological *** LCF is one of the most comprehensive environmental indicators to date,encompassing both biocapacity and ecological *** this regard,this study contributes to the environmental economics literature by examining,for the first time,the impact of biomass energy on the *** results of the cointegration test show that there is only a long-run relationship between the LCF and the independent *** to the Fourier ARDL results,biomass energy improves the environmental quality,while financial development has no effect on the ***,the increase in per capita income reduces the ***,since the income elasticity is larger in the long run than in the short-run,the environmental Kuznets curve is ***,the United States government should encourage the use of biomass and investment in this form of energy.

This paper proposes the mathematical model to investigate how to compute and analyze the tsunami wave parameters and the retrieval of its early warning using remote sensing technique to improve the detection *** different methods available for the evaluation of the tsunami detection systems are also *** research work is to compute and analyze the tsunami wave parameters such as Eigen functions in deep,intermediate and shallow water *** computational and algorithmic analysis of tsunami wave parameters are achieved in three steps:the first step is to calculate the earthquake fault parameters such as length,width,area and displacement from the epicenter,which corresponds to the effect of its variation with respect to the earthquake *** variation of each fault parameters have been measured and recorded out over the certain moment of magnitudes(M).This shows smaller values as compared to the earthquake magnitude M 9.5 at which all the parameters shows very large *** second step involves the measurements of water wave angular frequency in deep,intermediate and shallower region of *** values of angular frequencies in deep water shows the lesser response as compared to other two water conditions because,in deep water the angular velocity of water particles travels with the lesser speed as compared to the shallower region as per Airy’s wave *** simulation results show the angular velocity in Deep Ocean is very less,moderate in the intermediate water and very high on the coastal *** indicates the higher impact on coastal *** third step involves the simulation study of measurement of tsunami Eigen functions such as orbital velocity,acceleration,wave potential in deep,intermediate and shallower water *** simulation result shows the resultant orbital velocity and accelerations in deep,intermediate and shallow water regions provides the similar response as angular velocity due to same proportion of the

The timely mitigation of the ever-increasing environmental damages induced by the use of fossil fuels created demands by dismissing the activities that irreversibly affect the environment(Kartal et al.,2023;Pata et al.,2023).In addition,there is also a need to encourage and persuade activities that generate low carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions and allow for sustainable *** achieve sustainable development goals(SDgs)and comply with the Paris Agreement's goals and statements,which aim to limit global warming to 1.5 ℃ and demand net-zero emissions by 2050,an alternative to fossil fuels and CO_(2)-emitting power plants is needed(Kartal et al.,2024).This alternative means relying on clean,green,and renewable energy that will eventually con-tribute to a zero-carbon *** kinds of energy include energy produced by hydro,solar,wind,biomass,biofuels,and geothermal production capacities,along with the future of nuclear fusion(Ozcan et al.,2024).However,since not all of these forms of energy have reached their technological maturity and cost-effectiveness status,therefore policymaking institutions should initiate,develop,and align the policies in supporting the production and distribution of green energy.

Considering that previous literature has mainly focused on the impact of the digital economy(DE)on environmental degradation,ignoring the role of natural resources,this study uses two key factors(natural resource rent and anticorruption regulation)as threshold variables to reveal the effect of natural resources on the association between DE and carbon dioxide(CO_(2))*** doing so,the study covers 97 countries,uses annual data between 2003 and 2019,and applies a panel threshold *** outcomes present that the influence of the DE on CO_(2)emissions has a single-threshold effect(i.e.,there is an inverted U-shaped link between the DE and CO_(2)emissions)when natural resource rent is the threshold ***,the DE significantly increases CO_(2)emissions when the natural resource rent is at a low-to-medium level,but the DE suppresses CO_(2)emissions growth when natural resource rent exceeds the ***,the DE drives overall CO_(2)emissions growth when anticorruption regulation is the threshold variable and there are double thresholds for its impact on CO_(2)***,a rise in anticorruption regulation initially exacerbates the contribution of DE impact on CO_(2)emissions and then weakens it over *** on the results,the study proposes various implications,such as formulating a DE development strategy,considering natural resources in the development of the DE,and strengthening anti-corruption efforts in the field of environmental protection.

Outcome of penile prosthesis implantation： are malleable prostheses an appropriate treatment option in patients with erectile dysfunction caused by prior radical surgery？

The aim of our study was to evaluate the outcome of penile prosthesis implantation in patients with various comorbidities as a cause of erectile dysfunction （ED）. The data of 181 patients who underwent surgery between 1998 and 2012 in two centers were evaluated. The mean age of the patients was 52.2 years （range： 31-71 years）. The study group contained 162 patients （89.5%） with malleable prostheses and 19 （10.5%） with inflatable implants. All patients were re-evaluated 1 month later to assess prosthesis function and complications, and further re-examinations were performed if needed. Satisfaction was defined as having satisfactory intercourse and happiness with the device in general. The follow-up period was at least 12 months for each patient. The postoperative complication rate was 32% （n = 58）. The number of complications with inflatable and malleable prostheses was 7 （3.9%） and 51 （28.1%）, respectively. Overall, 21 prostheses （11.6%） had to be removed because of various complications and patient dissatisfaction. Patients with prior radical surgery had higher extraction rates （n = 14.606, P 〈 0.05, Chi-square test）. The main reasons for removal were erosion （n = 11; 6.1%） and infection （n = 3; 2.1%）. With respect to satisfaction during intercourse, we found that 104 （57.5%） patients described themselves as very satisfied with the prosthesis, while 21 （11.6%） were unsatisfied. The high explantation rate in patients with prior surgery was remarkable in our study. Our results revealed that a malleable prosthesis should not be the preferred type of implant for patients with prior surgery.

Renewable energy,energy efficiency,and nuclear energy research and development(RER,EER,and NER)budgets are immensely important to fulfill sustainable development goals 7,9,and 13,by accelerating energy innovation,energy transition,and climate *** literature on the drivers of the load capacity factor(LCF),a recently developed ecological quality measure,is mounting;however,the roles of energy investments in the LCF are largely ***,this study assesses the impacts of RER,EER,NER,and financial globalization(FIg)on the LCF using data from 1974 to 2018 for *** and reliable time series tests(Augmented ARDL,DOLS,and Fourier causality)are adopted to analyze cointegration,long-run impacts,and causal *** outcomes unveil that both green energy and energy efficiency R&D promote the LCF by enhancing ecological ***,the positive impact of NER on the LCF is found to be weaker than the impacts of RER and *** curbs ecological degradation by expanding the ***,the U-shaped connection between economic growth(ECg)and the LCF confirms the load capacity ***,policymakers should focus on RER and EER to preserve the environment and promote sustainable growth.
