Catalytic transfer hydrogenation(CtH)is a green and efficient pathway for selective hydrogenation of unsaturated aldehydes and ***,managing.t.e abilities of solid catalysts to adsorb substrates and to convert them into desired products is a challenging ***,we report the synthesis of carbon coated LaFe_(0.92)Pd_(0.08)O_(3) composites(LFPO-8@C)for CtH of benzaldehyde(BzH)into benzyl alcohol(BzOH),using isopropanol(IPA)as hydrogen *** coating with carbon improves the ability to adsorb/transfer reactants from solution to active sites,and the doping of Pd2+at Fe3+site strengthens the ability of LaFeO_(3) to convert BzH into BzOH.A balanced point between them(i.e.,abilities to adsorb BzH and to convert BzH into BzOH)is obtained at LFPO-8@C,which exhibits a BzOH formation rate of 3.88 mmol·gcat^(-1)·h^(-1) at 180℃ for 3 h,which is 1.50 and 2.72 times faster than those of LFPO-8 and LaFeO_(3)@C.A reaction mechanism is proposed,in which the acidic sites(e.g.,Fe^(4+),oxygen vacancy)are used for the activation of C=O bond of BzH and O-H bond of IPA,and the basic sites(e.g.,lattice oxygen)for the activation ofα-H(O-H)bond of IPA.

Iron-sulfur clusters(ISC)are essential cofactors for proteins involved in various biological processes,such as electron transport,biosynthetic reactions,DNA repair,and gene expression *** assembly protein IscA1(or MagR)is found within the mitochondria of most ***(MagR)is a highly conserved A-type iron and iron-sulfur cluster-binding protein,characterized by two distinct types of iron-sulfur clusters,[2Fe-2S]and[3Fe-4S],each conferring unique magnetic *** forms a rod-like polymer structure in complex with photoreceptive cryptochrome(Cry)and serves as a putative magnetoreceptor for retrieving geomagnetic information in animal *** the N-terminal sequences of MagR vary among species,their specific function remains *** the present study,we found that the N-terminal sequences of pigeon MagR,previously thoug.t.to serve as a mitochondrial targ.t.ng signal(MtS),were not cleaved following mitochondrial entry but instead modulated the efficiency with which iron-sulfur clusters and irons are ***,the N-terminal region of MagR was required for the formation of a stable MagR/Cry ***,the N-terminal sequences in pigeon MagR fulfil more important functional roles than just mitochondrial *** results further extend our understanding of the function of MagR and provide new insig.t. into the origin of magnetoreception from an evolutionary perspective.

A-site assisted perovskite crystallization via ion-exchange MOFs for high efficient and stable perovskite solar cells

Here,a novel strategy is proposed targ.t.ng.t.e volatility of A-site cations and the disordered arrangement of perovskite grains through employing Cs~+contained metal-organic frameworks In-aip(Cs)obtained by ion-exchange and crystalline *** forces between Cs-O atoms split the pore channels of the pristine In-aip,endowing In-aip(Cs)with multidimensional charge transport channels,In addition,the partially freed Cs~+in the interlayer compensates for the vacancy of A-site cations during.t.e perovskite preparation *** In-aip(Cs)modified perovskite films have a flat morphology,large grains and excellent optoelectronic *** from the high-quality perovskite films and faster charge extraction,the In-aip(Cs)-modified PSCs achieved a champion PCE of 23.03%,superior to the In-aip-modified(22.29%)and control device(21.13%),More importantly,the unencapsulated PSCs modified with In-aip(Cs)exhibited outstanding humidity and thermal *** a period of almost 1000 h,the unencapsulated In-aip(Cs)-modified device retained 85%of its initial PCE after storing in a glove box at 85℃,and retained 87%of the primary PCE upon storage in ambient condition at 25℃under a humidity of 40%.

Optimizing.t.e high-temperature energy storage characteristics of energy storage dielectrics is of great significance for the development of pulsed power devices and power control *** a polymer with a higher glass transition temperature(t_(g))as the matrix is one of the effective ways to increase the upper limit of the polymer operating ***,current high-t_(g)polymers have limitations,and it is difficult to meet the demand for high-temperature energy storage dielectrics with only one *** example,polyetherimide has high-energy storage efficiency,but low breakdown strength at high *** has high corona resistance,but low high-temperature energy storage *** this work,combining.t.e advantages of two polymer,a novel high-t_(g)polymer fiber-reinforced microstructure is *** is designed as extremely fine fibers distributed in the composite dielectric,which will facilitate the reduction of high-temperature conductivity loss for *** the same time,due to the high-temperature resistance and corona resistance of polyimide,the high-temperature breakdown strength of the composite dielectric is *** the polyimide content with the best high-temperature energy storage characteristics is determined,molecular semiconductors(ItIC)are blended into the polyimide fibers to further improve the high-temperature ***,excellent high-temperature energy storage properties are *** 0.25 vol%ItIC-polyimide/polyetherimide composite exhibits high-energy density and high discharge efficiency at 150℃(2.9 J cm^(-3),90%)and 180℃(2.16 J cm^(-3),90%).this work provides a scalable design idea for high-performance all-organic high-temperature energy storage dielectrics.

Functional-group-transfer strategies that avoid the use of unsustainable chemicals are attractive for the development of green ***(CFCs)not only contribute to the depletion of the stratospheric ozone layer,but their gaseous nature also poses a serious threat in scientific ***,the design of effective and sustainable alternatives to CFCs is highly ***,a practical CFC transfer platform for the addition of both a fluoroalkyl group and a chlorine substituent across alkenes by a photomediated redox-neutral manifold using bench-stable and easy-to-handle oxime-based surrog.t.s is *** distinct reactivity of these tunable reagents allows for their single-electron reduction to trigger fragmentation driven by benzonitrile formation and loss of carbon *** other fragments released in that step,namely an electrophilic fluoroalkyl radical and a nucleophilic chloride anion,are subsequently transferred onto alkenes by a radical-ionic mechanism to deliver the desired chlorofluorocarbon products.

the joint European Space Agency and Chinese Academy of Sciences Solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(SMILE)mission will explore global dynamics of the magnetosphere under varying solar wind and interplanetary magnetic field conditions,and simultaneously monitor the auroral response of the Northern Hemisphere *** these large-scale responses with medium and fine-scale measurements at a variety of cadences by additional ground-based and space-based instruments will enable a much greater scientific impact beyond the original goals of the SMILE ***,we describe current community efforts to prepare for SMILE,and the benefits and context various experiments that have explicitly expressed support for SMILE can offer.A dedicated group of international scientists representing many different experiment types and geographical locations,the ground-based and Additional Science Working group,is facilitating.t.ese *** include constructing an online SMILE Data Fusion Facility,the discussion of particular or special modes for experiments such as coherent and incoherent scatter radar,and the consideration of particular observing strategies and spacecraft *** anticipate growing interest and community engagement with the SMILE mission,and we welcome novel ideas and insig.t. from the solar-terrestrial community.

Quantum-confined CsPbBr_(3) perovskites are promising blue emitters for ultra-high-definition displays,but their soft lattice caused by highly ionic nature has a limited ***,we endow CsPbBr_(3) nanoplatelets(NPLs)with atomic crystal-like structural rigidity through proper surface engineering,by using strongly bound N-dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid(DBSA).A stable,rigid crystal structure,as well as uniform,orderly-arranged surface of these NPLs is achieved by optimizing intermediate reaction stage,by switching from molecular clusters to mono-octahedra,while interaction with DBSA resulted in formation of a Cs_(x)O monolayer shell capping.t.e NPL *** a result,both structural and optical stability of the CsPbBr3 NPLs is enhanced by strong covalent bonding of DBSA,which inhibits undesired phase transitions and decomposition of the perovskite phase potentially caused by ligand ***,rather small amount of DBSA ligands at the NPL surface results in a short inter-NPL spacing in their closely-packed films,which facilitates efficient charge injection and *** photoluminescence of the produced CsPbBr_(3) NPLs is brig.t.nearly unity emission quantum yield)and peaks at 457 nm with an extremely narrow bandwidth of 3.7 nm at 80 K,while the bandwidth of the electroluminescence(peaked at 460 nm)also reaches a record-narrow value of 15 nm at room *** value corresponds to the CIE coordinates of(0.141,0.062),which meets Rec.2020 standards for ultra-high-definition displays.

Li–CO_(2)/O_(2)batteries,a promising energy storage technology,not only provide ultrahigh discharge capacity but also capture CO_(2)and turn it into renewable *** electrochemical reaction pathways'ambiguity,however,creates a hurdle for their practical *** study used copper selenide(CuSe)nanosheets as the air cathode medium in an environmental transmission electron microscope to in situ study Li–CO_(2)/O_(2)(mix CO_(2)as well as O_(2)at a volume ratio of 1:1)and Li–O_(2)batteries as well as Li–CO_(2)*** discharge reactions take place successively in the Li–CO_(2)/O_(2)–CuSe nanobattery:(I)4Li^(+)+O_(2)+4e^(−)→2Li_(2)O;(II)Li_(2)O+CO_(2)→Li_(2)CO_(3).the charge reaction proceeded via(III)2Li_(2)CO_(3)→4Li^(+)+2CO_(2)+O_(2)+4e^(−).However,Li–O_(2)and Li–CO_(2)nanobatteries showed poor cycling stability,suggesting.t.e difficulty in the direct decomposition of the discharge *** fluctuations of the Li–CO_(2)/O_(2)battery's electrochemistry were also shown to depend heavily on O_(2).the CuSe‐based Li–CO_(2)/O_(2)battery showed exceptional electrochemical *** Li^–CO_(2)/O_(2)battery offered a discharge capacity apex of 15,492 mAh g^(−1) and stable cycling 60 times at 100 mA g^(−1).Our research offers crucial insig.t.into the electrochemical behavior of Li–CO_(2)/O_(2),Li–O_(2),and Li–CO_(2)nanobatteries,which may help the creation of high‐performance Li–CO_(2)/O_(2)batteries for energy storage applications.

Acute postoperative pain is commonly treated with flurbiprofen(FBP),but conventional delivery methods are *** study prepared a new non-burst release microneedles(MNs)using genipin cross-linked gelatin(cgel).By adding varying amounts of genipin to modulate the crosslinking degree of cgel,the drug release behavior of the drug-loaded MNs in the skin can be *** crosslinking parameters that meet therapeutic requirements are selected,thus providing rapid and longlasting analgesic *** solutions were successfully cross-linked,altering matrix material microstructure,confirmed by scanning electron microscope imaging and fourier transform infrared *** demonstrated increasing mechanical strength with higher *** release rates were rapid initially,then slowed,exhibiting a characteristic of decreased release rates with increasing degrees of *** vivo,FBP/cgel MNs significantly reduced allodynia and hyperalgesia post-surgery,with the greatest effect observed at 2–3 h post-surgery,and can maintain analgesia for up to 6 *** tests confirmed good ***/cgel MNs effectively penetrate the stratum corneum,safely delivering drugs with significant analgesic effects,excellent mechanical properties,and good biocompatibility,representing a promising strategy for managing acute postoperative pain.

Objective:the purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of brisk walking as an intervention for self-care agency and care dependency in patients with permanent colorectal cancer ***:this study adopted a quasi-experimental research design,specifically a non-equivalent control group pre-test and post-test *** the Exercise of Self-Care Agency Scale(ESCA)and Care Dependency Scale(CDS),a survey was administered to 64 patients from a hospital in Shandong *** statistical methods used for analyzing data included frequency,mean,standard deviation(SD),independent t-test,P-value calculation,and dependent ***:After two months of a brisk walking exercise program,participants in the experimental group had a higher level of self-care agency than before the experiment(Ptheir level of care dependency was significantly reduced(Pticipants in the control group also showed higher levels of self-care agency(Pter two months compared to their levels before the two ***:the brisk walking program had a positive impact on patients’self-care agency and reduced their care dependency.
