AIM To test the hypothesis that Helicobacter pylori eradication alone can reduce the incidence of gastric cancer in a subgroup of individuals with an increased risk for this fatal *** It is a prospective, randomized,double-blind, placebo-controlled multinational multicenter trial. Men between 55 and 65 years of age with a gastric cancer phenotype of Helicobacterpylori gastritis are randomized to receive a 7-day course of omeprazole 2 × 20 mg,clarithromycin 2 × 500 mg, and amoxicillin 2 ×lg for 7 days, or omeprazole2 × 20mg plusplacebo. Follow - up endoscopy is scheduled 3months after therapy, and thereafter in one-year intervals. Predefined study endpoints are gastric cancer, precancerous lesions (dysplasia, adenoma), other cancers, *** Since March 1998, 1524 target patients have been screened, 279 patients (18.3%) had a corpus-dominant type of *** gastritis, and 167 of those were randomized (58.8%). In the active treatment group (n -- 86), H. pylori infection infection was cured in 88.9% of patients. Currently, thecumulative follow-up time is 3046 months (253.8patient-years, median follow-up 16 months). So far, none of the patients developed gastric cancer or any precancerous lesion. Three(1.8%) patients reached study endpoints other than gastric *** Among men between 55 and 65years of age, the gastric cancer phenotype of *** gastritis appears to be more common than expected. Further follow- up and continuing recruitment are necessary to fulfil the main aim of the study.

Every day walking consists of frequent voluntary modifications in the gait pattern to negotiate *** spinal cord injury,stepping over an obstacle becomes *** over an obstacle requires sensorimotor transformations in several structures of the brain,including the parietal cortex,premotor cortex,and motor *** information and planning are transformed into motor commands,which are sent from the motor cortex to spinal neuronal circuits to alter limb trajectory,coordinate the limbs,and maintain *** spinal cord injury,bidirectional communication between the brain and spinal cord is disrupted and animals,including humans,fail to voluntarily modify limb trajectory to step over an ***,in this review,we discuss the neuromechanical control of stepping over an obstacle,why it fails after spinal cord injury,and how it recovers to a certain extent.

We show that when A is a separable C*-algebra,every countably generated Hilbert A-module is projective（with bounded module maps as morphisms）.We also study the approximate extensions of bounded module *** the case where A is a σ-unital simple C*-algebra with strict comparison,and every strictly positive lower semicontinuous affine function on quasitraces can be realized as the rank of an element in the Cuntz semigroup,we show that the Cuntz semigroup is equivalent to unitarily equivalent classes of countably generated Hilbert A-modules if and only if A has stable rank one.

BACKgROUND Enteropathy-associated T cell lymphoma(EATL)is an aggressive intestinal T cell lymphoma derived from intraepithelial lymphocytes,which occurs in individuals with celiac disease(CD).Cerebral involvement is an extremely rare condition and as described so far,lymphoma lesions may present as parenchymal predominantly supratentorial or leptomeningeal *** describe a case of EATL with multifocal supra-and infratentorial brain involvement in a patient with refractory celiac disease(RCD).CASE SUMMARY A 58-years old man with known CD developed ulcerative jejunitis and was diagnosed with RCD type *** months later he presented with subacute cerebellar symptoms(gait ataxia,double vision,dizziness).Cranial magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)revealed multifocal T2 hyperintense supra-and infratentorial *** studies of blood and cerebrospinal fluid were inconspicuous for infectious,inflammatory or autoimmune diseases.18Ffluorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography/computed tomography(18FDg-PET/CT)scan showed a suspect hypermetabolic lesion in the left upper abdomen and consequent surgical jejunal resection revealed the diagnosis of *** the diagnostic work-up,neurological symptoms aggravated and evolved refractory to high-dosage *** MRI scans showed progressive cerebral lesions,highly suspicious for lymphoma and methotrexate chemotherapy was ***,clinically the patient responded only ***,cerebral biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of cerebral involvement of *** the poor prognosis and deterioration of the performance status,best supportive care was *** patient passed away three weeks after *** EATL with cerebral involvement must be considered as a possible differential diagnosis in patients with known RCD presenting with neurological symptoms.
