The sluggish redox reaction kinetics of lithium polysulfides(LiPSs)are considered the main obstacle to the commercial application of lithium-sulfur(Li-S)*** accelerate the conversion by catalysis and inhibit the shuttling of soluble LiPSs in Li-S batteries,a solution is proposed in this *** solution involves fabrication of N,S co-doped carbon coated In_(2)O_(3)/In_(2)S_(3)heterostructure(In_(2)O_(3)-In_(2)S_(3)@NSC)as a multifunctional host material for the *** In_(2)O_(3)-In_(2)S_(3)@NSC composite can reduce the gibbs free energy for the conversion reactions of LiPSs,which results in superior *** synergy between different components in In_(2)O_(3)-In_(2)S_(3)@NSC and the unique 3D structure facilitate ion and electron transport in Li-S *** In_(2)O_(3)-In_(2)S_(3)@NSC/Li 2 S 6 cathode exhibits excellent rate capacity,with a capacity of 599 mAh g−1 at 5.5 C,and good cycle stability,with a capacity of 436 mAh g^(−1)after 1000 cycles at 1 ***,this study proposes a promising solution to improve the energy storage properties of Li-S batteries,which could potentially facilitate the commercialization of Li-S batteries.

Traditional hydrometallurgical methods for recovering spent lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)involve acid leaching to simultaneously extract all valuable metals into the *** methods usually are followed by a series of separation steps such as precipitation,extraction,and stripping to separate the individual valuable *** this study,we present a process for selectively leaching lithium through the synergistic effect of sulfuric and oxalic *** optimal leaching conditions(leaching time of 1.5 h,leaching temperature of 70°C,liquid-solid ratio of 4 mL/g,oxalic acid ratio of 1.3,and sulfuric acid ratio of 1.3),the lithium leaching efficiency reached89.6%,and the leaching efficiencies of Ni,Co,and Mn were 12.8%,6.5%,and 21.7%.X-ray diffraction(XRD)and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer(ICP-OES)analyses showed that most of the Ni,Co,and Mn in the raw material remained as solid residue oxides and *** study offers a new approach to enriching the relevant theory for selectively recovering lithium from spent LIBs.

Representing the next-generation technology in lithium-ion batteries,lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries offer increased specific energy without relying on scarce metals like nickel and cobalt,but suffer from a low practical specific energy due to poor conductivity and a short lifespan due to the shuttle effect of *** the confinement of polysulfides and the transport of lithium ions requires highly elaborate modifiers for *** multi-shelled structures(HoMSs)show promise as hierarchical mesostructures for separators,offering multiple shell layers and internal cavities that effectively inhibit polysulfide *** design of these structures is crucial to address these challenges *** this study,nitrogen-doped carbon HoMS(NC HoMS)was created using polymer templates through a precisely controlled polymerization *** featuring NC HoMS-modified separators exhibit improved capacity and cycling stability in comparison to those utilizing commercial ***,triple-shelled NC HoMS strikes a balance in polysulfide containment and lithium ion *** a sulfur loading of 6.34 mg/cm^(2),the Li-S battery can consistently complete 100 charge-discharge cycles,starting with a discharge capacity of 966.4 mA·h/g with a 75.8%capacity retention *** HoMS holds potential as the separator modifier in addressing the polysulfide shuttle problem and facilitating the Li-ion transportation for advanced Li-S batteries.

Tomato detection method using domain adaptive learning for dense planting environments

This study aimed to address the challenge of accurately and reliably detecting tomatoes in dense planting environments,a critical prerequisite for the automation implementation of robotic ***,the heavy reliance on extensive manually annotated datasets for training deep learning models still poses significant limitations to their application in real-world agricultural production *** overcome these limitations,we employed domain adaptive learning approach combined with the YOLOv5 model to develop a novel tomato detection model called as TDA-YOLO(tomato detection domain adaptation).We designated the normal illumination scenes in dense planting environments as the source domain and utilized various other illumination scenes as the target *** construct bridge mechanism between source and target domains,neural preset for color style transfer is introduced to generate a pseudo-dataset,which served to deal with domain ***,this study combines the semi-supervised learning method to enable the model to extract domain-invariant features more fully,and uses knowledge distillation to improve the model's ability to adapt to the target ***,for purpose of promoting inference speed and low computational demand,the lightweight FasterNet network was integrated into the YOLOv5's C3 module,creating a modified C3_Faster *** experimental results demonstrated that the proposed TDA-YOLO model significantly outperformed original YOLOv5s model,achieving a mAP(mean average precision)of 96.80%for tomato detection across diverse scenarios in dense planting environments,increasing by 7.19 percentage points;Compared with the latest YOLOv8 and YOLOv9,it is also 2.17 and 1.19 percentage points higher,*** model's average detection time per image was an impressive 15 milliseconds,with a FLOPs(floating point operations per second)count of 13.8 *** acceleration processing,the detection accuracy of the TDA-YOLO mo

植被净初级生产力(NPP)表征植物对生态系统碳的固定能力,是决定生态系统健康状态和可持续发展程度的关键指标,其时空变化及驱动因素对于揭示植被恢复状况和指导生态修复工作具有重要作用.基于2001~2020年MODIS17A3 NPP数据、土地利用和气象数据等,采用变异系数、Theil-Sen Median趋势分析及Mann-Kendall检验、Hurst指数和地理探测器等方法,探究了内蒙古乌梁素海流域植被NPP的时空变化特征及驱动因素.结果表明:①2001~2020年乌梁素海流域植被NPP整体呈波动上升趋势,平均值(以C计)为141.03 g·(m^(2)·a)^(-1),平均上升速率为2.33g·(m^(2)·a)^(-1);植被NPP具有明显的空间分异规律,整体上呈现西南高、东北低,河套平原高、沙地和山区低的特征;②NPP主要呈增长趋势,增长、减少和无变化区域的面积占比分别约为80%、3%和17%;NPP的平均变异系数为0.149,主要呈低波动变化和较低波动变化,面积占比约为51%;NPP未来变化趋势主要呈反持续性特征,面积占比约为75%.③土地利用、海拔、最高温和坡度是乌梁素海流域植被NPP变化的主导驱动因素,q值均在0.200以上.海拔∩相对湿度对乌梁素海流域植被NPP空间分异的解释力最大;土地利用与除夜间灯光外的其他因子对乌梁素海流域植被NPP空间分异的解释力均存在显著性差异.根据研究结果,未来应加强乌梁素海流域生态系统管理,实行严格的生态保护和修复政策,综合考虑气候、地形和人类活动等因素,因地制宜开展生态综合治理工作,以提升生态系统服务质量.

An advanced spectral diagnostic system was developed to measure the electron temperature(T_(e)),electron density(N_(e)),and ion temperature(T_(i))of the Huazhong University of Science and Technology field-reversed configuration *** system consists of an optic fiber spectrometer with a wide spectral band and a 670 mm focal length high throughout Czerny-Turner monochromator equipped with both a 3600 g mm^(-1)grating and a 2400 g mm^(-1)grating to measure the line *** these components is an electronmultiplying charge-coupled device camera to capture spectral *** relative intensity of the optical fiber spectrometer was calibrated using a standard luminance source,and the wavelength calibration of the spectrometer was accomplished using a Hg/Ar *** diagnostic setup was configured to measure electron density based on the Stark effect of H_γ(n=5→n=2;434.04 nm).Doppler broadening of an OⅢ(2s^(2)2p(^(2)P^(0))3p→2s^(2)2p(^(2)P^(0))3s;375.988 nm)emission line was measured and analyzed to obtain the ion temperature,and electron temperatures were estimated from the relative strength of H_(β)(n=4→n=2;486.14 nm)(D_(β))and H_(γ)(D_(γ))spectral lines when the electron density was obtained from Stark effect *** initial experimental results indicate that the highest electron temperature of the formation region was approximately 8 eV,the electron density of the colliding-and-merging region was approaching 10^(20)m^(-3),and the ion temperature reached about 40 eV.

Incorporating topological physics into the realm of quantum photonics holds the promise of developing quantum light emitters with inherent topological robustness and immunity to ***,the deterministic interaction of quantum emitters with topologically nontrivial resonances remains largely *** we present a single photon emitter that utilizes a single semiconductor quantum dot,deterministically coupled to a second-order topological corner state in a photonic crystal *** investigating the Purcell enhancement of both single photon count and emission rate within this topological cavity,we achieve an experimental Purcell factor of Fp=***,we demonstrate the on-demand emission of polarized single photons,with a second-order autocorrelation function g(2)(0)as low as 0.024±*** approach facilitates the customization of light-matter interactions in topologically nontrivial environments,thereby offering promising applications in the field of quantum photonics.

Despite advancements in silicon-based anodes for high-capacity lithium-ion batteries,their widespread commercial adoption is still hindered by significant volume expansion during cycling,especially at high active mass loadings crucial for practical *** root of these challenges lies in the mechanical instability of the material,which subsequently leads to the structural failure of the ***,we present a novel synthesis of a composite combining expanded graphite and silicon *** composite features a unique interlayer-bonded graphite structure,achieved through the application of a modified spark plasma sintering ***,this innovative structure not only facilitates efficient ion and electron transport but also provides exceptional mechanical strength(Vickers hardness:up to658 MPa,Young's modulus:11.6 gPa).This strength effectively accommodates silicon expansion,resulting in an impressive areal capacity of 2.9 mA h cm^(-2)(736 mA h g^(-1)) and a steady cycle life(93% after 100cycles).Such outsta nding performance is paired with features appropriate for large-scale industrial production of silicon batteries,such as active mass loading of at least 3.9 mg cm^(-2),a high-tap density electrode material of 1.68 g cm^(-3)(secondary clusters:1.12 g cm^(-3)),and a production yield of up to 1 kg per day.
