Propagation of light beams in turbid media such as underwater environments,fog,clouds,or biological tissues finds increasingly important applications in science and technology,including bio-imaging,underwater communication,and free-space communication *** many of these applications traditionally relied on conventional,linearly polarized gaussian beams,light possesses many degrees of freedom that are still largely unexplored,such as spin angular momentum(SAM)and orbital angular momentum(OAM).Here,we present nonlinear light-matter interactions of such complex light beams with"rotational"degrees of freedom in engineered nonlinear colloidal *** making use of both variational and perturbative approach,we consider non-cylindrical optical vortices,elliptical optical vortices,and higher-order Bessel beams integrated in time(HOBBIT)to predict the dynamics and stability of the evolution of these *** results may find applications in many scenarios involving light transmission in strongly scattering environments.

This paper reports on numerical investigations aimed at understanding the influence of circumferential casing grooves on the tip leakage flow and its resulting vortical *** results and conclusions are based on steady state 3D numerical simulations of the well-known transonic axial compressor nASA Rotor 37 near stall operating *** calculations carried out on the casing treatment configuration reveal an important modification of the vortex topology at the rotor tip *** grooves limit the expansion of the tip leakage vortex in the direction perpendicular to the blade chord,but generate a set of secondary tip leakage vortices due to the interaction with the leakage mass ***,a deeper investigation of the tip leakage flow is proposed.

Equatorial Plasma Bubbles(EPBs)are ionospheric irregularities that take place near the magnetic *** most commonly occur after sunset during the equinox months,although they can also be observed during other *** phenomenon significantly disrupts radio wave signals essential to communication and navigation *** national network of global navigation Satellite System(gnSS)receivers in Indonesia(>30°longitudinal range)provides an opportunity for detailed EPB *** explore this,we conducted preliminary 3D tomography of total electron content(TEC)data captured by gnSS receivers following a geomagnetic storm on December 3,2023,when at least four EPB clusters occurred in the Southeast Asian *** and extracted TEC depletion with a 120-minute running average were then used as inputs for a 3D tomography *** 2D spatial distribution consistently captured the four EPB clusters over *** tomography results were validated through a classical checkerboard test and comparisons with other ionospheric data sources,such as the global Ionospheric Map(gIM)and International Reference Ionosphere(IRI)*** of the results demonstrates the capability of the Indonesian gnSS network to measure peak ionospheric *** findings highlight the potential for future three-dimensional research of plasma bubbles in low-latitude regions using existing gnSS networks,with extensive longitudinal coverage.

Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces(RIS)have emerged as a promising technology for improving the reliability of massive MIMO communication ***,conventional RIS suffer from poor Spectral Efficiency(SE)and high energy consumption,leading to complex Hybrid Precoding(HP)*** address these issues,we propose a new low-complexity HP model,named Dynamic Hybrid Relay Reflecting RIS based Hybrid Precoding(DHRR-RIS-HP).Our approach combines active and passive elements to cancel out the downsides of both conventional *** first design a DHRR-RIS and optimize the pilot and Channel State Information(CSI)estimation using an adaptive threshold method and Adaptive Back Propagation neural network(ABPnn)algorithm,respectively,to reduce the Bit Error Rate(BER)and energy *** optimize the data stream,we cluster them into private and public streams using Enhanced Fuzzy C-Means(EFCM)algorithm,and schedule them based on priority and emergency *** maximize the sum rate and SE,we perform digital precoder optimization at the Base Station(BS)side using Deep Deterministic Policy gradient(DDPg)algorithm and analog precoder optimization at the DHRR-RIS using Fire Hawk Optimization(FHO)*** implement our proposed work using MATLAB R2020a and compare it with existing works using several validation *** results show that our proposed work outperforms existing works in terms of SE,Weighted Sum Rate(WSR),and BER.

Ionic liquid-assisted hydrothermal synthesis of SnS nanoparticles:Electrode materials for lithium batteries,photoluminescence and photocatalytic activities

Tin mono-sulphide（Sn S） nanoparticles（nps） have been successfully synthesised through ionic liquid assisted hydrothermal method using hydrated tin（II） chloride as a precursor, thiourea as sulphur source precursors using 2-Methoxy ethyl methyl imidazolium methane sulfonate ionic liquid as co-solvent. The Reitveld refinement on powder X-ray diffraction（PXRD） confirmed the presence of orthorhombic Sn S structure as major phase along with traces amount of Sn S2 and Sn2 S3. Diffuse reflectance spectrum studies revealed the energy band gap around 1.38 e V. TEM images confirmed the Sn S nps with average particle size of 40 nm and HRTEM suggest good crystallinity. The electrochemical property for lithium storage behaviour shows an initial discharge capacity of 658 m Ah/g and it retains discharge capacity of 426 m Ah/g for 16 cycles, at current density 100 m A/g. The obtained results indicate that Sn S nps to be one of the possible promising anode materials for next generation Lithium batteries. Photoluminescence study of Sn S nps shows a strong green emission at 530 nm. Sn S nps were also tested for the photocatalytic adsorption of methylene blue and Rhodamine B.
