TRS Scheduling for Improved QoS Performance in Cloud System

Numerous methods are analysed in detail to improve task schedulingand data security performance in the cloud environment. The methodsinvolve scheduling according to the factors like makespan, waiting time,cost, deadline, and popularity. However, the methods are inappropriate forachieving higher scheduling performance. Regarding data security, existingmethods use various encryption schemes but introduce significant serviceinterruption. This article sketches a practical Real-time Application CentricTRS (Throughput-Resource utilization–Success) Scheduling with Data Security(RATRSDS) model by considering all these issues in task scheduling anddata security. The method identifies the required resource and their claim timeby receiving the service requests. Further, for the list of resources as services,the method computes throughput support (Thrs) according to the number ofstatements executed and the complete statements of the service. Similarly, themethod computes Resource utilization support (Ruts) according to the idletime on any duty cycle and total servicing time. Also, the method computesthe value of Success support (Sus) according to the number of completions forthe number of allocations. The method estimates the TRS score (ThroughputResource utilization Success) for different resources using all these supportmeasures. According to the value of the TRS score, the services are rankedand scheduled. On the other side, based on the requirement of service requests,the method computes Requirement Support (RS). The selection of service isperformed and allocated. Similarly, choosing the route according to the RouteSupport Measure (RSM) enforced route security. Finally, data security hasgets implemented with a service-based encryption technique. The RATRSDSscheme has claimed higher performance in data security and scheduling.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICI)have markedly changed the landscape of cancer *** re-invigorating the immune system against tumors,ICI provide novel therapeutic options for a broad variety of malignancies,including many gastrointestinal(gI)***,these therapies can also induce autoimmune-like side effects in healthy tissue across the *** of the most common of these side effects is ICI-mediated colitis and diarrhea(IMC).Here,we review the incidence and risk of IMC in ICI therapy,with a focus on what is known regarding IMC in patients with gI *** also discuss data available on the use of ICI and risk of IMC in patients with pre-existing inflammatory bowel disease,as these patients may have increased risk of IMC due to their underlying intestinal pathology.

Effects of liquid feeding of corn condensed distiller's solubles and whole stillage on growth performance, carcass characteristics, and sensory traits of pigs

Background： The immense growth in global bioethanol production has greatly increased the supply of by-products such as whole stillage and condensed distiller＇s solubles, which could be potentially used for animal feeding. The objective of this study was to investigate effects of liquid feeding high levels of corn condensed distiller＇s solubles（CCDS） and whole stillage（CWS） on growth performance, carcass characteristics, belly firmness and meat sensory traits of ***： A total of 256 pigs were blocked by sex and initial BW（13.5 ± 2.5 kg）, and pens of pigs（8 pigs/pen） were randomly allocated to 1 of 4 dietary treatments（8 pens/treatment）： 1） corn-soybean meal based diet as control, 2） 25%CWS ＋ 5% CCDS, 3） 19.5% CWS ＋ 10.5% CCDS, and 4） 19.5, 26, and 32.5% CWS ＋ 10.5, 14, and 17.5% CCDS in phases 1（28 d）, 2（38 d）, and 3（60 d）, respectively. Inclusion levels of CCDS and CWS for Treatments 1, 2, and 3 were fixed during all the three phases of the experiment. Inclusion levels of CWS and CCDS were on 88% dry matter basis. The liquid feeding system delivered feed from the mixing tank to feed troughs by high-pressure air, had sensors inside feed troughs, and recorded daily feed intake on the basis of a reference feed intake curve. The pigs were fed 5 to 10 times per day with increasing frequency during the ***： Control pigs had greater（P 0.10） dressing percentage, loin muscle depth, and lean percentage were observed among the four treatments. Inclusion of CWS and CCDS reduced（P 0.10） the overall like,flavor, tenderness and juiciness of loin chops when compared with the control ***： In conclusion, our results indicate that including 30–50% of a mixture of whole stillage and condensed distiller＇s solubles in the growing-finishing diets may reduce growth performance, carcass weight and belly firmness, but does not affect pork sensory traits.

Combined estimation of state and feed-back gain for optimal load frequency control is *** frequency control(LFC)addresses the problem of controlling system frequency in response to disturbance,and is one of main research areas in power system operation.A well acknowledged solution to this problem is feedback stabilization,where the Linear Quadratic Regulator(LQR)based controller computes the feedback gain K from the known system parameters and implements the control,assuming the availability of all the state ***,this approach restricts control to cases where the state variables are readily available and the system parameters are ***,by estimating the states continuously from available measurements of some of the states,it can accommodate dynamic changes in the system *** paper proposes the technique of augmenting the state variables with controller *** introduces a non-linearity to the augmented system and thereby the estimation is performed using an Extended Kalman *** results in producing controller gains that are capable of controlling the system in response to changes in load demand,system parameter variation and measurement noise.

BACKgROUND Colitis is a known potential toxicity of immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs).Studies evaluating the risk of disease exacerbation following ICI treatment in patients with pre-existing inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)are *** To assess the clinical characteristics of IBD patients treated with ICIs and determine prevalence of subsequent IBD *** We conducted a retrospective cohort study of all patients in the Stanford Research Repository database with pre-existing IBD who were exposed to *** The prevalence of IBD exacerbation following ICI was 36.8% amongst 19 patients meeting inclusion *** with exacerbations had more gastrointestinalrelated hospitalizations(4 of 7)than patients without exacerbations(0 of 12;P=0.0090).CONCLUSION The prevalence of IBD exacerbations following ICI was higher than reported rates of ICI-induced colitis and diarrhea in the general population and was associated with hospitalization.

Electrical and non-linear optical studies on electrospun ZnO/BaO composite nanofibers

Nanocapacitors and nonvolatile ferroelectric random access memories require nanoscale thin film coatings with ferroelectric properties. One dimensional ferroelectric nanofibers are used in ferroelectric memory devices owing to the fact that decrease of the dimensionality of the memory device elements will reduce the addressing and appreciably increase the storage capacity, Novel ZnO/BaO nanocomposite fibers exhibiting ferroelectric properties have been prepared in the form of non-woven mesh by electrospinning the sol derived from the sol-gel route, Thin cylindrical nanofibers of average diameter 100 nm have been obtained and their morphology is confirmed by SEM and AFM images. In the electrospinning process, the effect of the working distance on the fiber morphology was studied and it showed that working distance between 11 and 15 cm can produce fibers without beads and the decrease in working distance in this range increases the fiber diameter. Powder XRD was used to identify the phases and EDX analysis confirmed the presence of ZnO/BaO. Dielectric and non-linear optical properties have also been studied. The dielectric studies showed that ZnO/BaO composite nanofibers undergo a phase transition from ferroelectric to paraelectric at 323 K.

Single-model uncertainty quantification in neural network potentials does not consistently outperform model ensembles

Estimating water storage changes and sink terms in Volta Basin from satellite missions

The insufficiency of distributed in situ hydrological measurements is a major challenge for hydrological studies in many regions of the world. Satellite missions such as the gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment （gRACE） and the Tropical Rainfall Measurement Mission （TRMM） can be used to improve our understanding of water resources beyond surface water in poorly gauged basins. In this study we combined gRACE and TRMM to investigate monthly estimates of evaporation plus runoff （sink terms） using the water balance equation for the period from January 2005 to December 2010 within the Volta Basin. These estimates have been validated by comparison with time series of sink terms （evaporation plus surface and subsurface runoff） from the global Land Data Assimilation System （gLDAS）. The results, for the period under consideration, show strong agreement between both time series, with a root mean square error （RMSE） of 20.2 ram/month （0.67 mm/d） and a correlation coefficient of 0.85. This illustrates the ability of gRACE to predict hydrological quantities, e.g. evaporation, in the Volta Basin. The water storage change data from gRACE and precipitation data from TRMM all show qualitative agreement, with evidence of basin saturation at approximately 73 mm in the equivalent water column at the annual and semi-annual time scales.
