Mechanism of soft x-ray continuum radiation from low-energy pinch discharges of hydrogen and ultra-low field ignition of solid fuels

EUV continuum radiation（10–30 nm） arising only from very low energy pulsed pinch gas discharges comprising some hydrogen was first observed at Black Light Power, Inc. and reproduced at the harvard Center for Astrophysics（Cf A）. The source was determined to be due to the transition of h to the lower-energy hydrogen or hydrino state h（1/4） whose emission matches that observed wherein alternative sources were eliminated. The identity of the catalyst that accepts 3 · 27.2 eV from the h to cause the h to h（1/4） transition was determined to hOh versus 3h. The mechanism was elucidated using different oxide-coated electrodes that were selective in forming hOh versus plasma forming metal atoms as well as from the intensity profile that was a mismatch for the multi-body reaction required during 3h catalysis. The hOh catalyst was further shown to give EUV radiation of the same nature by igniting a solid fuel comprising a source of h and hOh catalyst by passing a low voltage, high current through the fuel to produce explosive plasma. No chemical reaction can release such high-energy light. No high field existed to form highly ionized ions that could give radiation in this EUV region that persisted even without power input. This plasma source serves as strong evidence for the existence of the transition of h to hydrino h（1/4） by hOh as the catalyst and a corresponding new power source wherein initial extraordinarily brilliant light-emitting prototypes are already producing photovoltaic generated electrical power. The hydrino product of a catalyst reaction of atomic hydrogen was analyzed by multiple spectroscopic techniques. Moreover, the m h catalyst was identified to be active in astronomical sources such as the Sun, stars and interstellar medium wherein the characteristics of hydrino match those of the dark matter of the Universe.

In this paper, we propose a new architecture that combines prediction and decision-making in the form of a hybrid framework aimed at providing clinicians with transparent and accurate maps, or charts, to guide and to support treatment decisions, and to interrogate the clinical patients’ course as it develops. These maps should be patient-specific, with options displayed of possible treatment pathways. They would suggest the optimal care pathways, and the shortest routes to the most efficient care, by predicting clinical progress, testing the ensuing suggestions against the developing clinical state and patient condition, and suggesting new options as necessary. These maps should also mine an extensive database of accumulated patient data, modelled diseases, and modelled patient-responses based on expert-derived rules. These individualized hierarchical targets, which are implemented in order to prevent life-threatening illnesses, will also have to “adapt” to the patient’s altering clinical condition. Therapies that support one system can destabilize others and selecting which specific support to prioritize is an uncertain process, the prioritization of which can vary between clinical experts. Whilst clinical therapeutic decisions can be made with some degree of anticipation of the “likely” outcome (based on the experts’ opinion and judgment), treatment is essentially rooted in the present, and is dependent on analyzing the current clinical condition and available data. The recursive learning approach presented in this paper, allows decision rules to predict the possible future course, and reflects back derived information from such projections to the present time and thus support proactive clinical care rather than reactive clinical care. The proposed framework for such a patient map supports and enables an optimized choice from available options and also ensures that decisions are based on both the available evidence and a database of best clinical practice. Pericytes have the potential to be developed as a cell therapy for the treatment of wounds;however,the efficacy of any cell therapy relies on the successful delivery of intact and functioning ***,the effect of delivering pericytes on wound repair was assessed alongside the development of a surface-functionalized pericyte *** polymerization(PP)was used to functionalize the surface of silicone patches with heptylamine(hA)or acrylic acid(AA)*** pericytes were subsequently delivered to murine excisional wounds by intradermal injection or using the pericyte-laden patches and the comparative effects on wound healing,inflammation and revascularization *** AA surface provided the superior transfer of the cells to de-epidermized *** murine wounds treated either with pericytes injected directly into the wound or with the pericyte-laden AA patches showed improved healing with decreased neutrophil infiltration and reduced numbers of macrophages in the *** delivery also enhanced angiogenesis through a mechanism independent of VEgF ***,when delivered to wounds,improved healing responses by dampening inflammation and promoting *** of pericytes using PP-AA-functionalized patches was equally as effective as direct injection of pericytes into ***-functionalized dressings may therefore be a clinically relevant approach for the treatment of wounds.

The retention of dense and well-functioning microbial biomass is crucial for effective pollutant removal in several biological wastewater treatment *** solids retention is often achieved through aggregation of microbial communities into dense,spherical aggregates known as granules,which were initially discovered in the *** granules have since been widely applied in upflow anaerobic digesters for waste-to-energy ***,granular biomass has been applied in aerobic wastewater treatment and anaerobic ammonium oxidation(anammox)*** mechanisms underpinning the formation of methanogenic,aerobic,and anammox granules are the subject of ongoing *** each granule type has been extensively studied in isolation,there has been a lack of comparative studies among these granulation *** is likely that there are some unifying concepts that are shared by all three sludge *** these unifying concepts could allow a unified theory of granulation to be ***,we review the granulation mechanisms of methanogenic,aerobic,and anammox granular sludge,highlighting several common concepts,such as the role of extracellular polymeric substances,cations,and operational parameters like upflow velocity and shear *** have then identified some unique features of each granule type,such as different internal structures,microbial compositions,and quorum sensing ***,we propose that future research should prioritize aspects of microbial ecology,such as community assembly or interspecies interactions in individual granules during their formation and growth.

This paper examines a selection of OB （organizational behaviour） textbooks from 1992 to 2012. Using both content analysis and semiotic language analysis, the purpose of this paper is to illustrate how sports images in textbooks--although used to ostensibly explain organizational behaviour concepts--can have implications for addressing issues of gender, race, ethnicity, disabilities, and intersectionality. We conclude that sports images and metaphors （along with other asides, examples, and illustrations） need to be used carefully and reflectively.
