This review aims to highlight the effects of ochratoxin A(OTA)in the feed of meat-producing *** accumulation of OTA in feed and its distribution in various farm animals were compared and ***,the oral administration of OTA-contaminated feed and the predisposition in an animal's vital organ were critically examined in this *** collated reports show that OTA directly associated with endemic nephropathy and its high concentration leads to degeneration of liver cells,and necrosis of intestinal and lymphoid *** present,limited reports are available in the recent liter-ature on the problems and consequences of OTA in ***,this review focused on the OTA carryover from feed to farm animals and the interaction of its secondary metabolites on their biochemical ***,this report provides greater insights into animal health related to OTA residues in meat and meat *** article also explores mitigation strategies that can be used to prevent the carryover effects of OTA in livestock feeds and the effects in the food chain.

Pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis： an interesting case report with systematic review of Indian literature

Pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis is a rare disease characterized by intra-alveolar presence of microliths. This study reports an interesting case of pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis and provides a systematic review of cases reported from India. A 23-year-old female presented with a history of cough, wheeze, chest pain, and episodic wheeze for five months. Pulmonary function tests demonstrated an obstructive pattern, and chest X- ray showed fine micronodular opacities predominantly involving the middle and lower zones of both lungs. Transbronchial lung biopsy revealed the diagnosis. She responded well to inhaled steroid therapy. A systematic review of literature was performed and identified 73 cases of pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis reported from India. The mean （SD） age of the patients was 28.8 （14.9） years, with an almost equal male：female ratio. Many patients were asymptomatic at presentation. Breathlessness and cough were the most common symptoms, and the disease progressed into respiratory failure associated with cor pulmonale. About one-third of the cases were initially misdiagnosed and treated as pulmonary tuberculosis. Extra-pulmonary manifestations and co- morbidities were also evident in our series. This systematic review helps to determine epidemiological and clinical characteristics of pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis. Further research is needed to elucidate the etiopathogenesis, diagnosis, and therapeutic options, which are beneficial in developing and identifying cost- effective treatment for pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis.

In this paper,three production inventory models are constructed for an imperfect manufacturing system by considering a warm-up production run,shortages during the hybrid maintenance period,and the rework of imperfect *** proportions of imperfect items produced during the warm-up and regular production runs are random and they are represented using a bivariate random *** shortage quantity is partially backordered and the supply of backorder quantity is planned simultaneously with regular demand *** learning models are designed to accommodate the different learning capabilities of workers in unit production time during warm-up and regular production *** production and demand rates of these models are made dependent on the learning *** the resulting models are highly nonlinear in the decision variable,they are optimized using a genetic *** models are illustrated using numerical examples and sensitivity studies are performed to find the influence of the key parameters.

This work examines the effect of butanol as an oxygenated additive to lower carbon monoxide,smoke,nitrogen oxide and hydrocarbon emissions and to improve the performance aspects of Calophyllum inophyllum(Punnai)***,oil-cooled compression ignition engines are employed in this *** Punnai biodiesel(P100)is blended with butanol at 10%and 20%by volume and labelled as B10 P90 and B20 P80,*** and alkaline catalyst(KOH)were used for the transesterification process for biodiesel *** transesterification technique yielded 88%biodiesel from raw Punnai *** tests resulted in lower CO,smoke,NO_x and HC emissions when fuelled with both butanol blends when compared to *** addition,BSFC(brake-specific fuel consumption)reduced and BTE(brake thermal effciency)increased with the inclusion of butanol blends(B10 and B20)to neat Punnai biodiesel.

A catalyst-free new polyol method synthesized hot-pressed Cu-doped Bi2S3 nanorods and their thermoelectric properties

This is the first report on the thermoelectric properties of a catalyst-free polyol method used to prepare stoichiometric Bi2-xCuxS3 samples, x = 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, via hot pressing. Various systematic approaches to arrive at in their stoichiometric compositions are explored precisely with introduction of excess precursor of S. X-ray diffraction data analysis using Rietveld refinement confirms a polyhedral orthorhombic crystal structure with a space group Pnma, in contrast to Pbnm reported earlier. Raman data further substantiates this. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy confirms the valence states of the constituent elements （Bi^3＋, Cu^2＋, and S^2-） and energy dispersive X-ray analysis corroborates their compositions. The particle sizes of the pure Bi2S3 nanoparticles were 20, 35, and 82 nm as determined from the Scherrer formula, atomic force microscopy, and dynamic light scattering, respectively. Their transmission electron microscopy image shows rod-like nanostructures elongated in the 〈010〉 direction with an average diameter of 23 nm and a length of several hundreds of nanometers. A 34% improvement in the thermoelectric figure of merit is observed for Bi.6Cu0.4S3 as compared to pure Bi2S3 at 300 K.

This research introduces a challenge in integrating and cleaning the data,which is a crucial task in object *** the object is detected and then measured,the vibration at different light intensities may inﬂuence the durability and reliability of mechanical systems or structures and cause problems such as damage,abnormal stopping,and *** research failed to improve the accuracy rate and the computation time in tracking an object and in the vibration *** solve all these problems,this proposed research simpliﬁes the scaling factor determination by assigning a known real-world dimension to a predetermined portion of the image.A novel white color sticker of the known dimensions marked with a color dot is pasted on the surface of an object for the best result in the template matching using the Improved Up-Sampled Cross-Correlation(UCC)*** vibration measurement is calculated using the Finite-Difference Algorithm(FDA),a machine vision systemﬁtted with a macro lens sensor that is capable of capturing the image at a closer range,which does not affect the quality of displacement measurement from the video ***ﬁeld test was conducted on the TAFE(Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited)tractor parts,and the percentage of error was recorded between 30%and 50%at very low vibration values close to zero,whereas it was recorded between 5%and 10%error in most high-accelerations,the essential range for vibration ***,the suggested system is more suitable for measuring the vibration of stationary machinery having low frequency *** use of a macro lens enables to capture of image frames at very close-ups.A 30%to 50%error percentage has been reported when the vibration amplitude is very ***,this study is not suitable for Nano vibration analysis.

Characterisation, Luminescence and Antibacterial Properties of Stable AgNPs Synthesised from AgCl by Precipitation Method

Silver nanoparticles （AgNPs） were synthesised using equimolar concentrations of redtlcing agent vitamin C and AgCl precursor by simple precipitation method. The synthesised AgNPs were characterised by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, UV-Visible, photoluminescence and field emission scanning electron microscopy （FESEM） analysis. The formation of AgNPs was confirmed by the typical surface plasmon resonance band at 426 nm. The presence of elemental silver and pure crystalline face centre cubic （fcc） structure was confirmed by energy dispersive X-ray analysis and XRD analysis, respectively. The FESEM images showed the formation of spherical AgNPs for lower concentrations （0.1 and 0.3 mol/L） while spike and flower shaped particles were formed for higher concentration. Photoluminescence characteristic band was observed with no shift at 390 nm indicating the stable nature of AgNPs. The antibacterial property of the AgNPs was tested against gram negative bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa by using Cissus quadrangular as a control and the result showed that vitamin C reduced AgNPs have good antibacterial activity.

MHD effects on free convective flow over moving semi-infinite vertical cylinder with temperature oscillation

Numerical solutions of magnetodynamics （MHD） effects on the free convective flow of an incompressible viscous fluid past a moving semi-infinite vertical cylinder with temperature oscillation are presented. The dimensionless, unsteady, non-linear, and coupled governing partial differential equations are solved by using an implicit finite difference method of the Crank-Nicolson type. The velocity, temperature, and concentration profiles are studied for various parameters. The local skin-friction, the average skinfriction, the Nusselt number, and the Sherwood number are also analyzed and presented graphically. The results are compared with available results in literature, and are found to be in good agreement.
