An analytical study of vibration in functionally graded piezoelectric nanoplates: nonlocal strain gradient theory

In this paper,we analytically study vibration of functionally graded piezoelectric(FgP)nanoplates based on the nonlocal strain gradient *** top and bottom surfaces of the nanoplate are made of PZT-5H and PZT-4,*** employ Hamilton’s principle and derive the governing differential ***,we use Navier’s solution to obtain the natural frequencies of the FgP *** the first step,we compare our results with the obtained results for the piezoelectric nanoplates in the previous *** the second step,we neglect the piezoelectric effect and compare our results with those obtained for the functionally graded(Fg)***,the effects of the Fg power index,the nonlocal parameter,the aspect ratio,and the lengthto-thickness ratio,and the nanoplate shape on natural frequencies are investigated.

New CCD photometric investigation of high amplitude δ Scuti star V2455 Cyg

New V-band CCD observations of variable star V2455 Cyg were performed during two nights in September 2017. According to all times of maximum light and new maxima, the O-C curve was *** period changes of V2455 Cyg were investigated and the rate of increasing period was obtained to be(1/P) d P/dt = 1.99 × 10^-7 yr-1. Frequency analysis indicated that V2455 Cyg pulsates with the radial p mode and the fundamental frequency is 10.61574 d-1. Physical parameters of V2455 Cyg at mean temperature were determined(e.g., R = 2.52 R⊙and M = 1.92 M⊙). The position of this star in the H-R diagram confirms that V2455 Cyg is a high amplitude δ Scuti star.

Calculating the thermal properties of 93,94,95Mo using the BCS model with an average value gap parameter

The gap parameter of the standard BCS model is replaced by the order parameter of the modified ginzburg–Landau theory. Using this new form of the BCS model, the energy, entropy, and heat capacity of ^(93,94,95)Mo nuclei are calculated. The results are compared with the experimental data and standard BCS results. Since the order parameter does not drop to zero at a critical temperature, our results for thermal properties are free of singularities. We have shown that the heat capacity as a function of temperature behaves smoothly and it is highly in agreement with the experimental heat capacity, while heat capacity behaves singularly and discontinuously in the standard BCS model.A smooth peak in the heat capacity is observed which is interpreted as a signature of the transition from the superfluid to the normal phase.
