Preparation of Co/S co-doped carbon catalysts for excellent methylene blue degradation

S and Co co-doped carbon catalysts were prepared via pyrolysis of MOf-71 and thiourea mixtures at 800℃at a mass ratio of MOf-71 to thiourea of 1:0.1 to effectively activate peroxymonosulfate(PMS)for methylene blue(MB)*** effects of two different mixing routes were identified on the MB degradation ***,the catalyst obtained by the alcohol solvent evaporation(MOf-AEP)mixing route could degrade 95.60%MB(50 mg/L)within 4 min(degradation rate:K=0.78 min^(-1)),which was faster than that derived from the direct grinding method(MOf-DgP,80.97%,K=0.39 min^(-1)).X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy revealed that the Co-S content of MOf-AEP(43.39at%)was less than that of MOf-DgP(54.73at%),and the proportion of C-S-C in MOf-AEP(13.56at%)was higher than that of MOf-DgP(10.67at%).Density functional theory calculations revealed that the adsorption energy of Co for PMS was -2.94 eV when sulfur was doped as C-S-C on the carbon skeleton,which was higher than that when sulfur was doped next to cobalt in the form of Co-S bond(-2.86 eV).Thus,the C-S-C sites might provide more contributions to activate PMS compared with ***,the degradation parameters,including pH and MOf-AEP dosage,were ***,radical quenching experiments and electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)measurements revealed that ^(1)O_(2)might be the primary catalytic species,whereas·O~(2-)might be the secondary one in degrading MB.

A microgravity environment has been shown to cause ocular damage and affect visual acuity,but the underlying mechanisms remain ***,we established an animal model of weightlessness via tail suspension to examine the pathological changes and molecular mechanisms of retinal damage under *** 4 weeks of tail suspension,there were no notable alterations in retinal function and morphology,while after 8 weeks of tail suspension,significant reductions in retinal function were observed,and the outer nuclear layer was thinner,with abundant apoptotic *** investigate the mechanism underlying the degenerative changes that occurred in the outer nuclear layer of the retina,proteomics was used to analyze differentially expressed proteins in rat retinas after 8 weeks of tail *** results showed that the expression levels of fibroblast growth factor 2(also known as basic fibroblast growth factor)and glial fibrillary acidic protein,which are closely related to Müller cell activation,were significantly *** addition,Müller cell regeneration and Müller cell gliosis were observed after 4 and 8 weeks,respectively,of simulated *** findings indicate that Müller cells play an important regulatory role in retinal outer nuclear layer degeneration during weightlessness.

To investigate the causes that led to the formation of cracks in materials, a novel method that only considered the fracture surfaces for determining the fracture toughness parameters of J-integral for plain strain was proposed The principle of the fracture-surface topography analysis （fRASTA） was used. In fRASTA, the fracture surfaces were scanned by laser microscope and the elevation data was recorded for analysis. The relationship between J-integral and fracture surface average profile for plain strain was deduced. It was also verified that the J-integral determined by the novel method and by the compliance method matches each other well.

BACKgROUND Microvascular invasion(MVI)is a significant risk factor for recurrence and metastasis following hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)***,there is a paucity of preoperative evaluation approaches for *** To investigate the predictive value of texture features and radiological signs based on multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging in the non-invasive preoperative prediction of MVI in *** Clinical data from 97 HCC patients were retrospectively collected from January 2019 to July 2022 at our *** were classified into two groups:MVI-positive(n=57)and MVI-negative(n=40),based on postoperative pathological *** correlation between relevant radiological signs and MVI status was ***4.6 software and the mutual information method were employed to identify the top 10 dominant texture features,which were combined with radiological signs to construct artificial neural network(ANN)models for MVI *** predictive performance of the ANN models was evaluated using area under the curve,sensitivity,and *** models with relatively high predictive performance were screened using the DeLong test,and the regression model of multilayer feedforward ANN with backpropagation and error backpropagation learning method was used to evaluate the models’*** The absence of a pseudocapsule,an incomplete pseudocapsule,and the presence of tumor blood vessels were identified as independent predictors of HCC *** ANN model constructed using the dominant features of the combined group(pseudocapsule status+tumor blood vessels+arterial phase+venous phase)demonstrated the best predictive performance for MVI status and was found to be automated,highly operable,and very *** The ANN model constructed using the dominant features of the combined group can be recommended as a noninvasive method for preoperative prediction of HCC MVI status.

Enhanced Mechanical Properties of friction Stir Welded 5083Al-H19 Joints with Additional Water Cooling

3-mm-thick 5083Al-H19 rolled plates were friction stir welded(fSW) at tool rotation rates of 800 and200 rpm with and without additional water cooling. With decreasing the rotation rate and applying water cooling, softening in the fSW joint was significantly reduced. At a low rotation rate of 200 rpm with additional water cooling, almost no obvious softening was observed in the fSW joint, and therefore a fSW5083Al-H19 joint with nearly equal strength to the base material(BM) was obtained. furthermore, the grains in the nugget zone were considerably refined with reducing the heat input and ultrafine equiaxed grains of about 800 nm were obtained in the lowest heat input condition. This work provides an effective method to achieve high property fSW joints of precipitate-hardened and work-hardened Al alloys.
