Early detection of the Covid-19 disease is essential due to its higher rate of infection affecting tens of millions of people,and its high number of deaths also by 7%.For that purpose,a proposed model of several stages was *** first stage is optimizing the images using dynamic adaptive histogram equalization,performing a semantic segmentation using DeepLabv3Plus,then augmenting the data by flipping it horizontally,rotating it,then flipping it *** second stage builds a custom convolutional neural network model using several pre-trained ***,the model compares the pre-trained data to the new output,while repeatedly trim.ing the best-performing models to reduce complexity and improve memory *** experiments were done using different techniques and ***,the proposed model achieved an average accuracy of 99.6%and an area under the curve of 0.996 in the Covid-19 *** paper will discuss how to train a customized intelligent convolutional neural network using various parameters on a set of chest X-rays with an accuracy of 99.6%.

New trends in pharmacological treatment of acute kidney injury

The effect of hydrogel particle size on water retention properties and availability under water stress

The use of superabsorbent polymers or hydrogels could increase the water holding capacity (WHC) of sandy soil and reduce water loss by deep ***,hydrogels' retained water availability to plants might be overestimated without taking into consideration the hydrogel particles ***,the ultimate objective of this study was to address the impacts of hydrogel particles size on hydrogel's retained water availability (plant available water,PAW),daily water consumption (DWC) and survival of guava seedlings subjected to ***,some soil physical properties,i.e.,WHC,water retention properties,and hydraulic conductivity (Ksat) were *** (WaterSorb,'WS') application,particularly the WS of small particles,significantly reduced Ksat,and increased WHC and ***,seedlings grown in soil amended with WS fine (0.8-1.0 mm),WS medium (1.0-2.0 mm) and WS large (2-4 mm) survived for 27.0 ± 1.3,24.0 ± 1.1 and 17.0 ± 0.7 days,respectively,compared to 13.0 ± 1.0 days for the *** water stored in the WS of large particles was less readily available for plant ***,hydrogels,had no effect on the DWC of the *** hydrogels as a soil amendment increases WHC PAW,growth and survival of guava seedlings,while the effect was less pronounced for the large hydrogel particles which had lower specific surface area and swelling rate.

Daily variation of radon gas and its short-lived progeny concentration near ground level and estimation of aerosol residence time

Atmospheric concentrations of radon（^（222）Rn） gas and its short-lived progenies^（218）Po,^（214）Pb, and^（214）Po were continuously monitored every four hours at the ground level in Jeddah city, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The measurements were performed three times every week, starting from November 2014 to October 2015. A method of electrostatic precipitation of positively charged^（218）Po and ^（214）Po by a positive voltage was applied for determining^（222）Rn gas concentration. The short-lived^（222）Rn progeny concentration was determined by using a filter holder connected with the alpha-spectrometric technique. The meteorological parameters（relative air humidity, air temperature, and wind speed） were determined during the measurements of^（222）Rn and its progeny concentrations.^（222）Rn gas as well as its short-lived progeny concentration display a daily and seasonal variation with high values in the night and early morning hours as compared to low values at noon and in the afternoon. The observed monthly atmospheric concentrations showed a seasonal trend with the highest values in the autumn/winter season and the lowest values in the spring/summer season. moreover, and in parallel with alphaspectrometric measurements, a single filter-holder was used to collect air samples. The deposited activities of^（214）Pb and the long-lived^（222）Rn daughter ^（210）Pb on the filter were measured with the gamma spectrometric technique. The measured activity concentrations of^（214）Pb by both techniques were found to be relatively equal largely. The highest mean seasonally activity concentrations of ^（210）Pb were observed in the autumn/winter season while the lowest mean were observed in the spring/summer season. The mean residence time（mRT） of aerosol particles in the atmospheric air could be estimated from the activity ratios of ^（210）Pb/^（214）Pb.

Hand veins can be used effectively in biometric recognition since they are internal organs that,in contrast to fingerprints,are robust under external environment effects such as dirt and paper ***,they form a complex rich shape that is unique,even in identical twins,and allows a high degree of ***,most currently employed hand-based biometric systems rely on hand-touch devices to capture images with the desired *** the start of the COViD-19 pandemic,most handbased biometric systems have become undesirable due to their possible impact on the spread of the ***,new contactless hand-based biometric recognition systems and databases are desired to keep up with the rising hygiene *** contribution of this research is the creation of a database for hand dorsal veins images obtained contact-free with a variation in capturing distance and rotation *** database consists of 1548 images collected from 86 participants whose ages ranged from 19 to 84 *** the other research contribution,a novel geometrical feature extraction method has been developed based on the Curvelet *** method is useful for extracting robust rotation invariance features from vein *** database attributes and the veins recognition results are analyzed to demonstrate their efficacy.

Preparation of manganese （iii） acetylacetonate nanoparticles via an environmentally benign route

With the hope of overcoming the generation of hazardous materials to human health and environment, serious and great endeavor have been made in catalyst fabrication using green chemistry technology. in this paper, the manganese （iii） acetylacetonate nanoparticles with diameters of about 146 nm were prepared by a simple and environmentally benign route based on hydrolysis of KmnO4 followed by reaction with acetylacetone in rapid stirring rate or ultrasonication. The as-prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence （EDiX）, Fourier transfer infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscope. Various parameters were investigated, and the pure and stable crystals of manganese （iii） acetylacetonate could be obtained in 98% conversion at a molar ratio 7：1 of acetylacetone to KmnO4 and 75℃after 60 min. We further proposed a mathematical model, and the predicted results from model were in good agreement with experimental results.

A tetrad field that is homogeneous and anisotropic which contains two unknown functions A（t） and B（t） of cosmic time is applied to the field equations of f（T）, where T is the torsion scalar, T = T~μ_（νρ）S_μ^（νρ）. We calculate the equation of continuity and rewrite it as a product of two brackets, the first is a function of f（T） and the second is a function of the two unknowns A（t） and B（t）. We use two different relations between the two unknown functions A（t） and B（t） in the second bracket to solve it. Both of these relations give constant scalar torsion and solutions coincide with the de Sitter one. So,another assumption related to the contents of the matter fields is postulated. This assumption enables us to drive a solution with a non-constant value of the scalar torsion and a form of f（T） which represents ΛCDm.

Developed mathematical technique for fractional stochastic point kinetics model in nuclear reactor dynamics

Fractional stochastic kinetics equations have proven to be valuable tools for the point reactor kinetics model, where the nuclear reactions are not fully described by deterministic relations. A fractional stochastic model for the point kinetics system with multi-group of precursors,including the effect of temperature feedback, has been developed and analyzed. A major mathematical and inflexible scheme to the point kinetics model is obtained by merging the fractional and stochastic technique. A novel split-step method including mathematical tools of the Laplace transforms, mittage–Leffler function, eigenvalues of the coefficient matrix, and its corresponding eigenvectors have been used for the fractional stochastic matrix differential equation. The validity of the proposed technique has been demonstrated via calculations of the mean and standard deviation of neutrons and precursor populations for various reactivities: step, ramp, sinusoidal, and temperature reactivity feedback. The results of the proposed method agree well with the conventional one of the deterministic point kinetics equations.
