Using.forward-backward stochastic calculus, we prove convex concentration inequalities for some additive functionals of the solution of stochastic differential equations with jumps admitting.an invariant probability measure. As a consequence, transportation-information inequalities are obtained and bounds on option prices for interest rate derivatives are g.ven as an application.

Hepatitis C virus （HCV） is a major cause of chronic liver disease, cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC）. In man, the pathobiolog.cal chang.s associated with HCV infection have been attributed to both the immune system and direct viral cytopathic effects. Until now, the lack of simple culture systems to infect and propag.te the virus has hampered prog.ess in understanding.the viral life cycle and pathog.nesis of HCV infection, including.the molecular mechanisms implicated in HCV-induced HCC. This clearly demonstrates the need to develop small animal models for the study of HCV-associated pathog.nesis. This review describes and discusses the development of new HCV animal models to study viral infection and investig.te the direct effects of viral protein expression on liver disease.

Nephronophthisis-related ciliopathies(NPHP-RC)represent one of the most common causes of chronic kidney disease in the first three decades of life and are characterized by a broad g.netic and clinical heterog.neity.1 To date,more than 90 g.nes have been identified that cause autosomalrecessive NPHP-RC if mutated,accounting.for up to 60%of cases.1 Among.these,homozyg.us deletions of NPHP1 are the most common *** g.nes localize to primary cilia,basal bodies,or the centrosome and lead to a primary ciliary disruption if mutated,thereby causing.a broad phenotypical spectrum.1 Patients that suffer from NPHP-RC can either have an isolated renal phenotype,such as polyuria,polydipsia,decreased urinary concentration ability,and secondary enuresis due to loss of tubular function,or present with extrarenal symptoms including.retinal deg.neration,cerebellar vermis hypoplasia,or hepatic *** are often diag.osed in early adolescence,reaching.end-stag. renal disease before 25 years of ag.,but early onset and rapidly prog.essive forms of NPHP-RC also exist.1 Renal ultrasound indicates kidneys of normal or reduced renal leng.h with increased echog.nicity and corticomedullary cysts.

Resistant bacteria can be transmitted to humans throug. feces or contaminated meat from local chickens. Bacterial strains were isolated from the intestinal contents of 400 local chicken samples from various sales sites. These strains were then characterized using.bacteriolog.cal and biochemical methods to identify resistant strains. In a study conducted in Ouag.doug.u, we systematically collected chicken fecal samples from 20 locations across the city, followed by isolation and identification of Salmonella spp. using.specific enrichment and culture methods, as well as Escherichia coli. Bacterial strains were characterized using.antibiotic resistance profiles were determined throug. ag.r diffusion tests, revealing.sensitivity or resistance to a rang. of antibiotics based on established scientific criteria. The results showed that out of the 400 samples collected, 81.25% and 63.5% were contaminated by Escherichia coli and Salmonella spp., respectively. Among.these, 86.15% of identified Escherichia coli and 50.78% of Salmonella spp. displayed resistance to at least one tested antibiotic. Among.280 Escherichia coli isolates identified resistant to at least one antibiotic, 31.07% were resistant to cefotaxime (CTX), 20.35% to ceftazidime (CAZ), 21.07% to ceftriaxone (CTR), 75% to amoxicillin clavulanic acid (AMC), 23.57% aztreoname (ATM) and 27.14% were resistant to imipenem (IMP). In the case of the 129 Salmonella spp. isolates resistant to at least one tested antibiotic, 34.88% were resistant to CTX;41.08% to CAZ;35.65% to CTR, 92% to AMC, 39.53% to ATM and finally 47.28% were resistant to IMP. Our study revealed hig. prevalence of resistance in bacterial strains isolated from local chickens sold outdoors in Ouag.doug.u. These finding. raise sig.ificant public health concerns, due to the possible transmission of these resistant strains to humans throug. the consumption of contaminated meat, thus complicating.the treatment of bacterial infections.

Increased numbers of mucosa-associated Escherichia coli are observed in both of the major inflammatory bowel diseases,Crohn's disease(CD)and ulcerative colitis(UC).A potential pathophysiolog.cal link between the presence of pathog.nic invasive bacteria and g.netic host susceptibility of patients with ileal CD is *** CD patients,with increased ileal expression of the CEACAM6 molecule acting.as a receptor recog.ized by type 1 pilus bacterial adhesin,and with the identification of mutations in the NOD2-encoding.g.ne,the presence of pathog.nic invasive bacteria could be the link between abnormal ileal bacterial colonization and innate immune responses to invasive *** a susceptible host,the sequential etiolog.cal steps of the disease induced by adherent-invasive ***(AIEC)are:(1)abnormal colonization via binding.to the CEACAM6 receptor,which is overexpressed in the ileal mucosa of CD patients;(2)ability to adhere to and to invade intestinal epithelial cells,which allows bacteria to cross the mucosal barrier;(3)survival and replication within infected macrophag.s in the lamina propria;and(4)induction of tumor necrosis factor-α secretion and g.anuloma formation.

Estimating.and identifying.friction are important aspects of simulating.a mechanical drive system. Accurate friction modeling.helps to improve a telescope's performance. However, the friction conditions inside are complex and hard to measure. We did simulations with mathematical transfer functions for the Leig.ton 10 m Telescope and employed a polyline model to identify sources of friction. We made a two-stag. model for the Leig.ton 10 m Telescope. Based on measurements of the motor's currents and speeds, we constructed a curve containing.the friction information of the transmission elements. We simulated the system using.a step function input under many combinations of friction parameters. By comparing.simulation results with the measured ones, we determined the various friction components. This model accurately reproduced the telescope performance including.the nonlinearities.
