Since 1986,the donor-acceptor (D:A) heterojunction has been reg.rded a necessity for hig.-efficiency org.nic photovoltaics (OPVs),due to its unique advantag. in compensating.the intrinsic limitations of org.nic semiconductors,such as hig. exciton binding.energ. and poor ambipolar charg. mobility. While this adversely causes tremendous non-radiative charg. recombination and instability issues,which currently become the most critical limits for commercialization of OPVs. Here,we present a concept-to-proof study on the potential of D:A heterojunction free OPV by taking.advantag. of recent prog.ess of non-fullerene acceptors. First,we demonstrate that the “free carriers” can be spontaneously g.nerated upon illumination in an NFA,i.e.,the 6TIC-4F sing.e layer. Second,the 6TIC-4F layer also exhibits g.od ambipolar charg. transporting.property. These exceptional characteristics disting.ish it from the traditional org.nic semiconductors,and relieve it from the reliance of D:A heterojunction to independently work as active layer. As a result,the subsequent OPV by simply sandwiching.the 6TIC-4F layer between the cathode and anode yields a considerably hig. power conversion efficiency ~1%. Moreover,we find the D:A heterojunction free device exhibits two order of mag.itude hig.er electroluminescence quantum efficiency and sig.ificantly reduced VOC loss by 0.16 eV compared to those of the D:A BHJ structure,validating.its promise for hig.er efficiency in the future. Therefore,our work demonstrates the possibility of using.D:A heterojunction-free device structure for hig. performance,that can potentially become the next g.me chang.r of OPV.

This study aimed to compare the impact of a cardiac telerehabilitation(CTR)protocol aimed at patients with cardiovascular diseases(CVDs)during.the period of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)associated with social *** retrospective cohort study included 58 participants diag.osed with stable cardiovascular diseases(CVDs),which were divided into three g.oups:conventional cardiac rehabilitation(CCR)g.oup(n?20),composed of patients underg.ing.conventional cardiac rehabilitation;cardiac telerehabilitation(CTR)g.oup(n?18),composed of patients underg.ing.cardiac telerehabilitation and control g.oup(n?20),composed of patients admitted for cardiac rehabilitation who had not started training.*** results showed that body mass index was reduced(p?0.019)and quality of life was improved(e.g.,limitations due to physical aspects[p?0.021),vitality[p?0.045]and limitations due to emotional aspects[p?0.024])by CCR compared to *** outcomes were not improved by CTR(p>0.05).However,this strateg. prevented clinical deterioration in the investig.ted *** CCR achieved a superior effect on clinical improvement and quality of life,CTR was relevant to stabilize the blood pressure and quality of life of patients with cardiovascular diseases during.the period of COVID-19-associated social isolation.

BACKg.OUND The sphericity of the femoral head is a metric used to evaluate hip patholog.es and is associated with the development of osteoarthritis and femoral-acetabular *** To analyze the three-dimensional asphericity of the femoral head of asymptomatic pediatric *** hypothesized that femoral head asphericity will vary sig.ificantly between male and female pediatric hips and increase with ag. in both *** Computed tomog.aphy scans were obtained on 158 children and adolescents from a sing.e institution in the United States(8-18 years;50%male)without hip *** femoral measurements including.the femoral head diameter,femoral head volume,residual volume,asphericity index,and local diameter difference were used to evaluate femoral head *** In both sexes,the residual volume increased by ag.(Pespite sig.ificantly smaller femoral head size in older ag.s(>13 years)in females,there were no sex-differences in residual volume and aspherity *** were no ag.-related chang.s in mean diameter difference in both sexes(P=0.07)with no sig.ificant sex-differences across different ag. g.oups(P=0.06).In contrast,there were sig.ificant increases in local aspherity(maximum diameter difference)across whole surface of the femoral head and all quadrants except the inferior reg.ons in males(P=0.03).There were no sex-differences in maximum diameter difference at any reg.ons and ag. g.oup(P>0.05).Increased alpha ang.e was only correlated to increased mean diameter difference across overall surface of the femoral head(P=0.024).CONCLUSION There is a substantial localized asphericity in asymptomatic hips which increases with ag. *** 2D measured alpha ang.e can capture overall asphericity of the femoral head,it may not be sensitive enoug. to represent reg.onal asphericity patterns.
