Chickpea (Cicer airetinum L.) is.an important and mos. preferred food leg.me in many parts.of the world es.ecially in the Indian s.b-continent. Molecular analys.s.of chickpea us.ng.DNA technolog. has.been carried out to identify the divers. g.netic bas. of the cultivars.for s.lected preferential introductions.as.efficient edible elements. A few of thes. g.netic s.ocks.have been documented here to tap their g.netic divers.ty. The s.atus.s.ows.that the level of polymorphis. in this.s.ecies.is.low. Us.ng.PCR bas.d markers. marker as.is.ed s.lection of polymorphy is.one of the es.ablis.ed techniques. Here, this.procedure has.been employed to expedite g.ne/QTL pyramiding.in the chickpea. The s.udy pres.nted here includes.analys.s.of 12 g.rmplas.s.of chickpea. s.andard CTAB method has.been performed, with certain modifications. to g.t better intens.ty and res.lution of DNA bands. Extracted DNA, amplified with 41 RAPD and 21 Is.R primers.are thereby tes.ed to determine g.netic divers.ty. The pres.ntation dis.us.es.the res.lts.of chickpea g.rmplas. divers.ty on the bas.s.of thes. obs.rvations.

A field s.udy with wheat crop was.undertaken to examine the efficacy of two s.il amendments.cereal s.raw and fres. cow dung.s.urry,in reducing.leaching.of s.lfos.lfuron to g.oundwater and its.res.due load in *** herbicide was.extracted by the QuEChER’s.method and quantified throug. hig. performance liquid *** amendments.had no effect on the g.neral properties.of *** cereal s.raw and fres. cow dung.reduced leaching.of s.lfos.lfuron into g.oundwater but cereal s.raw was.more effective,probably becaus. its.addition decreas.s.s.il pH,thereby caus.ng.fas.er hydrolys.s.of the *** harves. time,res.dues.of the herbicide in g.ains.s.raw and s.il were below recommended maximum res.due limits.0.1mg.kg.1)with both ***,both the amendments.can be recommended for wheat cropping.s.s.ems.to control s.lfos.lfuron leaching.to g.oundwater.

s.ns.r networks.are deployed in many application areas.nowadays.rang.ng.from environment monitoring. indus.rial monitoring. and ag.iculture monitoring.to military battlefield s.ns.ng. The accuracy of s.ns.r reading. is.without a doubt one of the mos. important meas.res.to evaluate the quality of a s.ns.r and its.network. Therefore, this.work is.motivated to propos. approaches.that can detect and repair erroneous.（i.e., dirty） data caus.d by inevitable s.s.em problems.involving.various.hardware and s.ftware components.of s.ns.r networks. As.information about a s.ng.e event of interes. in a s.ns.r network is.us.ally reflected in multiple meas.rement points. the incons.s.ency among.multiple s.ns.r meas.rements.s.rves.as.an indicator for data quality problem. The focus.of this.paper is.thus.to s.udy methods.that can effectively detect and identify erroneous.data among.incons.s.ent obs.rvations.bas.d on the inherent s.ructure of various.s.ns.r meas.rement s.ries.from a g.oup of s.ns.rs. Particularly, we pres.nt three models.to characterize the inherent data s.ructures.among.s.ns.r meas.rement traces.and then apply thes. models.individually to g.ide the error detection of a s.ns.r network. Firs., we propos. a multivariate g.us.ian model which explores.the correlated data chang.s.of a g.oup of s.ns.rs. s.cond, we pres.nt a Principal Component Analys.s.（PCA） model which captures.the s.ars. g.ometric relations.ip among.s.ns.rs.in a network. The PCA model is.motivated by the fact that not all s.ns.r networks.have clus.ered s.ns.r deployment and clear data correlation s.ructure. Further, if the s.ns.r data s.ow non-linear characteris.ic, a traditional PCA model can not capture the data attributes.properly. Therefore, we propos. a third model which utilizes.kernel functions.to map the orig.nal data into a hig. dimens.onal feature s.ace and then apply PCA model on the mapped linearized data. The numerical modeling.for the cool water outfall dis.harg. from the LNg.Plant is.undertaken us.ng.CORMIX to evaluate the des.g. of diffus.r for dis.harg.. The hydrodynamic data tide and currents.are us.d inputs.to the model. It is.then calibrated us.ng.monitored data. The s.ftware has.been run to calculate the mixing.zone and dilution patterns.for various.flow conditions. Model res.lt s.ows.that ambient condition is.achieved within 64 m from the propos.d outfall locations. From the res.lts.of the modeling.s.udies.it can be concluded that the propos.d diffus.r des.g. and outfall locations.are s.itable for all tide conditions. It als. s.ows.that there is.no s.g.ificant impact on the marine life due to the propos.d cool water dis.harg., beyond the s.all area around the dis.harg. location, as.the parameters.are attaining.near ambient water quality within the acceptable s.ace and time.

We propos. and analyze mathematical models.to s.udy the dynamics.of s.oking.behavior under the influence of educational prog.ams.and als. individual＇s.determination to quit s.oking. We es.ablis. the pos.tivity and boundednes. of the s.lutions.in a biolog.cally feas.ble reg.on. A thres.old value res.ons.ble for pers.s.ence of s.oking.is.obtained and s.ability analys.s.on models.is.performed. We find that determination alone is.not enoug. to eradicate s.oking.but it can reduce the prevalence of s.oker population. Whereas.the increas. in education can pos.ibly eradicate it. We performed numerical s.mulation for repres.ntative s.t of parameters.to verify and dis.us. res.lts.obtained analytically.

s.per Typhoon Halyan （1330）, which occurred in 2013, is.the mos. powerful typhoon during.landfall in the meteorolog.cal record. In this.s.udy, the temporal and s.atial dis.ributions.of lig.tning.activity of Haiyan were analyzed by us.ng.the lig.tning.data from the World Wide Lig.tning.Location Network, typhoon intens.ty and pos.tion data from the China Meteorolog.cal Adminis.ration, and horizontal wind data from the ECMWF. Three dis.inct reg.ons.were identified in the s.atial dis.ribution of daily averag. lig.tning.dens.ty, with the maxima in the inner core and the minima in the inner rainband. The lig.tning.dens.ty in the intens.fying.s.ag. of Haiyan was.g.eater than that in its.weakening.s.ag.. During.the time when the typhoon intens.ty meas.red with maximum s.s.ained wind s.eed was.between 32.7 and 41.4 m s.1, the s.orm had the larg.s. lig.tning.dens.ty in the inner core, compared with other intens.ty s.ag.s. In contras. to earlier typhoon s.udies. the eyewall lig.tning.burs. out three times. The firs. two eyewall lig.tning.outbreaks.occurred during.the period of rapid intens.fication and before the maximum intens.ty of the s.orm, s.g.es.ing.that the eyewall lig.tning.activity could be us.d to identify the chang. in tropical cyclone intens.ty. The flas.es.frequently occurred in the inner core, and in the outer rainbands.with the black body temperature below 220 K. Combined with the ECMWF wind data, the influences.of vertical wind s.ear （VWs. on the azimuthal dis.ribution of flas.es.were als. analyzed, s.owing.that s.rong.VWs.produced downs.ear left as.mmetry of lig.tning.activity in the inner core and downs.ear rig.t as.mmetry in the ralnbands.

The mechanical properties.and micros.ructural evolution of zircaloy-4 s.bjected to cumulative s.rains.of 1.48,2.96,4.44 and 5.91 throug. multiaxial forg.ng.MAF） at cryog.nic temperature（77 K） were *** mechanical properties.of the MAF treated alloy were meas.red throug. univers.l tens.le tes.ing.and Vickers.hardnes. tes.ing.*** zircaloy-4 deformed up to a cumulative s.rain of 5.91 s.owed improvement in both ultimate tens.le s.reng.h and hardnes. from 474 MPa to 717 MPa and from HV 190 to HV 238,res.ectively,as.compared with the as.received ***,there was.a noticeable decrement in ductility（from 18%to 3.5%） due to the low s.rain hardening.ability of deformed *** improvement in s.reng.h and hardnes. of the deformed alloy is.attributed to the g.ain s.ze effect and hig.er dis.ocation dens.ty g.nerated during.multiaxial *** micros.ructural evolutions.of deformed s.mples.were characterized by optical micros.opy and trans.is.ion electron micros.opy（TEM）.The evolved micros.ructure at a cumulative s.rain of 5.91 obtained after MAF up to 12 cycles.depicted the formation of ultrafine g.ains.with an averag. s.ze of 150-250 nm.
