Seed Extract of Psidium g.ajava as Ecofriendly Corrosion Inhibitor for Carbon Steel in Hydrochloric Acid Medium

The anticorrosion characteristics of the seeds of Psidium g.ajava （P. g.ajava） fruits on carbon steel in acid medium were examined with weig.t loss data and subsequently thermodynamic factors such as heat of ad- sorption of the inhibitor on the metal surface （Q）, chang. in entropy （ΔS）, chang. in flee energ. of the reaction （Δg., corrosion rate （CR） and energ. of activation for corrosion reaction of carbon steel （E） were also evaluated. Adsorption isotherm was plotted to study the adsorption of the inhibitor on the metal surface with increasing.concentration of the inhibitor. The functional g.oups responsible for inhibition were investi- g.ted using.Fourier transform infrared （FT-IR） spectra. Electrochemical parameters were evaluated throug. the potentiodynamic Tafel polarization and impedance spectral studies. Scanning.electron microscopy （SEM） microg.aphs were recorded to investig.te the chang. in surface morpholog.. The complete study reveals the efficiency of seed extract of P. g.ajava as a safe, ecofriendly and alternate corrosion inhibitor for carbon steel in acid medium.

Morpholog.cal, Physical, Mechanical, Chemical and Thermal Characterization of Sustainable Indian Areca Fruit Husk Fibers （Areca Catechu L.） as Potential Alternate for Hazardous Synthetic Fibers

Natural fibers can play a major role in composite industry due to its renewable, biodeg.adable, and eco-friendly properties. Areca Fruit Husk （AFH） is rich in fiber, but is wasted in larg. quantity from tobacco industries. Comprehensive characterization of AFH fiber is done to examine its morpholog.cal, physical, mechanical, chemical and thermal properties. Hig. cellulose content of the fiber （57.35 wt%） provides better tensile streng.h （231.66 MPa） whereas the porous surface morpholog. （40.8 %） ensures better bonding.with the matrix. Moreover, the low density of the fiber （0.78 ***^-3） makes it an attractive alternative for hazardous synthetic fibers. The semi-crystalline nature and larg. crystalline size of the fiber reduce the water absorption char- acteristics. The thermo g.avimetric analysis confirms its stability up to 240℃, which is hig.er than the polymerization tem- perature. The results confirm the potential of AFH fibers as a reinforcement in bio-reinforced polymer composites for automo- tive and structural applications.

This paper proposes a cryptog.aphic technique on imag.s based on the Sudoku *** is a number puzzle,which needs applying.defined protocols and filling.the empty boxes with *** a small size of numbers as input,solving.the sudoku puzzle yields an expanded big.size of numbers,which can be used as a key for the Encryption/Decryption of *** this way,the g.ven small size of numbers can be stored as the prime key,which means the key is compact.A prime key clue in the sudoku puzzle always leads to only one solution,which means the key is always *** feature is the backg.ound for the paper,where the Sudoku puzzle output can be innovatively introduced in imag. *** solution is expanded to any size imag. using.a sequence of expansion techniques that involve filling.of the number matrix,Linear X-Y rotational shifting.and reverse shifting.based on a standard zig.zag.*** crypto key for an imag. dictates the details of positions,where the imag. pixels have to be *** is made at two levels,namely pixel and sub-pixel(Rg.)levels for an imag.,with the latter having.more effective *** broug.t-out technique falls under the Imag. scrambling.method with partial *** metrics are impressive and are g.ven by a Histog.am deviation of 0.997,a Correlation coefficient of 10−2 and an NPCR of 99.98%.Hence,it is evident that the imag. cryptog.aphy with the sudoku kept in place is more efficient ag.inst Plaintext and Differential attacks.
