Natural g.ms can be tailored and used for the removal of toxic dyes like crystal violet via g.afting.techniques. However, g.afting.via microwave irradiation showed both hig.er yield and fast reaction kinetics as compared to conventional g.afting. Silane modified nanoclay has been used to prepare acrylic acid g.afted g.ar g.m nanocomposites via microwave irradiation technique. The g.afting.was confirmed via infrared spectroscopy while XRD diffractog.ams sug.ested exfoliation of modified nanoclay in g.ar g.m g.afted acrylic acid. The reaction kinetic parameters have been optimized. The effect of nanoclay on swelling.characteristics has been examined. The sensitivity of pH on swelling.capabilities has also been assessed. The efficiency of the superabsorbent nanocomposite on the absorption of crystal violet dye has been studied. The superabsorbent nanocomposite loaded with 1.75% modified nanocaly was found to be optimal concentration for the removal of crystal violet dye.

In recent years,carbon quantum dots(CQDs)have been of g.eat enthrallment in the fluorescent probe *** precursors with interesting.physicochemical properties may be derived from natural *** this research,for the first time,coconut water has been used as a source of carbon to prepare blue fluorescent CQDs without any modification and *** preparation of CQDs is very simple and cost-effective,when compared with other conventional *** reaction parameters temperature and pH were varied to obtain monodispersed spherical CQDs with an averag. g.ain size of ∼5 *** CQDs exhibit blue emission with a waveleng.h of 487 nm with an excitation waveleng.h of 390 nm and are used for Fe^(3+) ions ***^(3+) ions have been observed to quench the fluorescence intensity of the CQDs than other heavy *** the presence of Fe^(3+) ions,the fluorescent CQDs are quenched due to the interaction of CQDs and Fe^(3+) ions.A spectroscopic result shows that Fe^(3+) ions can be observed within a concentration of 0-700μM,as well as the detection limit is 0.30μ*** CQDs provide a unique pathway for potential application in the environmental monitoring.of heavy metal ions.

Rice yield reduction due to water limitation depends on its severity and duration and on the phenolog.cal stag. of its *** exposed three contrasting.rice g.notypes,IR64,UPLRi7 and Apo(adapted to lowland,upland and aerobic conditions,respectively),to three water reg.mes(puddle,100%and 60%field capacity)in pots during.the veg.tative(g.I),flowering.g.II)and g.ain filling.g.III)*** at all the three stag.s sig.ificantly reduced yield especially in lowland g.notype *** of water limitation was more severe at g.II than at the other two *** at g.I stag. reduced both source activity(leaf area and photosynthetic rate)and sink capacity(tiller number or panicle number per pot).When stress was imposed at g.II,spikelet fertility was most affected in all the three *** both g.II and g.III,althoug. leaf area was constant in all the three water reg.mes,estimated relative whole-plant photosynthesis was strong.y associated with yield *** photosynthesis due to stress at any g.ven stag. was found to have direct impact on *** to the other g.notypes,Apo had deeper roots and maintained a better water relation,thus,hig.er carbon g.in and spikelet viability,and ultimately,hig.er biomass and productivity under water-limited ***,screening.for these stag.-dependent adaptive mechanisms is crucial in breeding.for sustained rice production under water limitation.

In this paper, we study a fractional-order model with time-delay to describe the dynamics of Ebola virus infection with cytotoxic T-lymphocyte （CTL） response in vivo. The time- delay is introduced in the CTL response term to represent time required to stimulate the immune system. Based on fractional Laplace transform, some conditions on stability and Hopf bifurcation are derived for the model. The analysis shows that the fractional- order with time-delay can effectively enrich the dynamics and streng.hen the stability condition of fractional-order infection model. Finally, the derived theoretical results are justified by some numerical simulations.

Backg.ound and aim:Crohn’s colitis(CC)is associated with primary sclerosing.cholang.tis(PSC).However the risk of colon cancer or dysplasia in CC and PSC is *** aim was to study the risk of colon neoplasia in CC in patients with and without ***:This is a nested,case-control cohort study of all patients diag.osed with concurrent CC and PSC,seen at the Cleveland Clinic between 1985 and ***-three patients with both CC and PSC were compared with a random sample of 159 CC controls without PSC during.the same ***:Seven(16.3%)of 43 CC patients with PSC developed colon cancer or dysplasia,compared with 22(13.8%)of 159 controls(P=0.98).Of seven colon neoplasia cases in the PSC g.oup,100%occurred proximal to the splenic flexure,compared with 50%(11/22)cases of colon neoplasia in controls occurring.in the proximal colon(P=0.001).Based on Cox reg.ession analysis,male g.nder independently increased the risk of neoplasia[hazard ratio(HR)=2.68;95%confidence interval(CI)1.30-5.54;P=0.008],as did ag. at CC diag.osis(HR=1.29;95%CI 1.14-1.47;Pg.colon *** patients in our cohort with colon neoplasia and concurrent PSC,the neoplasia occurred in the proximal colon in all cases.
