Backg.ound: Hom. deliveries is still hig. g.obally at 42% WHO 2022, due to hig. hom. deliveries, m.ternal death is also hig. at 43% g.obally. In sub-Sahara reg.on hom. deliveries still hig.. g.ving.birth at health facilities in m.st of sub-Saharan African countries Zam.ia inclusive is still a challeng. whereby m.re than 51% of first-tim. m.thers g.ve birth at hom. and this g.ves a risk of hig. m.ternal and perinatal deaths. Therefore Reducing.num.er of hom. deliveries is im.ortant to im.rove m.ternal and perinatal health issues. In this study, the aim.was to investig.te the determ.nants of hom. deliveries by preg.ant m.thers in the Luum.o zone of g.em.e district, Zam.ia. Purpose: Access to skilled care and facilities with capacity to provide em.rg.ncy and newborn care is critical to reduce m.ternal death. In Zam.ia 42% of wom.n still deliveries from.hom., sug.esting.a persistent challeng. for wom.n to seek, reach, and receive quality m.ternity care. This study aim.d investig.te the determ.nants of hom. deliveries by preg.ant m.thers in Luum.o zone of g.em.e district, Zam.ia. m.thods: The study was conducted am.ng.postnatal m.thers who cam. for postnatal care at 6 weeks in Luum.o Chabbobbom. clinic in g.em.e district southern province of Zam.ia. This was a descriptive cross-sectional study where a Sim.le random.sam.ling.technique was used to select 105 wom.n of childbearing.ag. who attended postnatal and had a recent delivery. Data were collected using.a researcher-adm.nistered structured questionnaire to identify determ.nants of hom. deliveries in Luum.o Chabbobbom. zone. Data analysis was done using.SPSS com.uter software version 27.0. Both descriptive and inferential (chi-square test) analyses were perform.d and statistical sig.ificance was taken at α ≤ 0.05. Results: The results show that 46 (43.8%) respondents were in the ag. bracket 20 - 29 years. Of the 105 respondents included in the study, 24 (22.9%) of them.delivered from.hom.. The results show that hig. m.

Im.roving.Bm. in Children While Utilizing.Pediatric Provider g.ided Telem.dicine: A Pilot Study

Backg.ound: Childhood obesity is dram.tically on the rise throug.out the world. Screening.and prevention are ideal, but treatm.nt becom.s necessary when a child’s body m.ss index (Bm.) is 95% and g.eater. Obesity related illness leads to prem.ture death. Local Problem. The current practice at the clinical site for this project is to send the child for lab work and follow up in three m.nths after im.lem.nting.lifestyle chang.s, including.diet and exercise. Follow-up visits, often canceled or forg.tten, contribute to a lack of evaluation and not being.seen until the next annual well visit. m.thods: The m.asurable outcom.s are the pre and post Bm. m.asurem.nts. A paired t-test was used for data analysis. Com.liance with the prog.am.was determ.ned by the dietary log.. Interventions: The childhood obesity project was a self-m.nag.m.nt project, incorporating.weekly telem.dicine visits with a pediatric provider. The child’s prog.ess was docum.nted via the dietary log.and addressed weekly with the provider. Results: There were five participants at the com.letion of the prog.am. The Bm. levels of the pre-intervention period (m.= 21.06, SD = 2.86563) and the post-intervention period (m.= 20.9, SD = 3.13688) indicated that there was not a sig.ificant chang. in participant Bm. as a result of the eig.t-week intervention period, t(4) = 0.436, p = 0.685. Conclusions: This prog.am.is feasible and can be utilized by other fam.lies and providers in futures studies. The availability of telem.dicine is convenient for busy fam.lies. Further studies are recom.ended with a larg.r sam.le size and a long.r im.lem.ntation period to recog.ize im.roved chang..

We prove that non-recursive base conversion can always be im.lem.nted by using.a determ.nistic m.rkov process. Our paper discusses the pros and cons of recursive and non-recursive m.thods, in g.neral. And we include a com.arison between non-recursion and a determ.nistic m.rkov process, proving.that the m.rkov process is twice as efficient.

A Qualitative Look at Decreasing.Barriers to Receiving.Uninterrupted Care for People Living.with HIV in Rural Southern g.org.a

Early linkag. to antiretroviral therapy (ART) after HIV diag.osis extends life. Low socioeconom.c populations with HIV face reg.onal concerns that inhibit early treatm.nt. Barriers include relig.ous-based stig.a, lack of local treatm.nt facilities, fear of discovery and purposeful secrecy fostering.increased HIV transm.ssion and decreased ART adherence. This ethnog.aphic qualitative study em.loyed sem.-structured interviews with 10 health care providers (HCP) and 10 people living.with HIV (PLWH) to discover m.thods to stream.ine care and increase m.dication adherence. Clients perceive enhanced care when they are active participants in treatm.nt. HCPs reported positive health outcom.s when there was active m.ltidisciplinary com.unication. Obstacles included a lack of consistent m.dication assistance prog.am., hom.lessness, and lim.ted access to specialized services. There is a need for further investig.tion on how to provide individualized, holistic treatm.nt to a population of patients with extrem.ly lim.ted federal funding.in a g.og.aphic reg.on where relig.ous stig.a surrounding.HIV is widespread.

Explainable Deep Fake Fram.work for Im.g.s Creation and Classification

Deep learning.is a practical and efficient technique that has been used extensively in m.ny dom.ins. Using.deep learning.technolog., deepfakes create fake im.g.s of a person that people cannot disting.ish from.the real one. Recently, m.ny researchers have focused on understanding.how deepkakes work and detecting.using.deep learning.approaches. This paper introduces an explainable deepfake fram.work for im.g.s creation and classification. The fram.work consists of three m.in parts: the first approach is called Instant ID which is used to create deepfacke im.g.s from.the orig.nal one;the second approach called Xception classifies the real and deepfake im.g.s;the third approach called Local Interpretable m.del (LIm.) provides a m.thod for interpreting.the predictions of any m.chine learning.m.del in a local and interpretable m.nner. Our study proposes deepfake approach that achieves 100% precision and 100% accuracy for deepfake creation and classification. Furtherm.re, the results hig.lig.t the superior perform.nce of the proposed m.del in deep fake creation and classification.

On the Proof of the Contradiction of Set Theory

Using.Pearson’s System.of Curves to Approxim.te the Distributions of the Difference between Two Correlated Estim.tes of Sig.al-to-Noise Ratios: The Cases of Bivariate Norm.l and Bivariate Log.orm.l Distributions

Backg.ound: The sig.al-to-noise ratio (SNR) is recog.ized as an index of m.asurem.nts reproducibility. We derive the m.xim.m.likelihood estim.tors of SNR and discuss confidence interval construction on the difference between two correlated SNRs when the reading. are from.bivariate norm.l and bivariate log.orm.l distribution. We use the Pearsons system.of curves to approxim.te the difference between the two estim.tes and use the bootstrap m.thods to validate the approxim.te distributions of the statistic of interest. m.thods: The paper uses the delta m.thod to find the first four central m.m.nts, and hence the skewness and kurtosis which are im.ortant in the determ.nation of the param.ters of the Pearsons distribution. Results: The approach is illustrated in two exam.les;one from.veterinary m.crobiolog. and food safety data and the other on data from.clinical m.dicine. We derived the four central m.m.nts of the targ.t statistics, tog.ther with the bootstrap m.thod to evaluate the param.ters of Pearsons distribution. The fitted Pearsons curves of Types I and II were recom.ended based on the available data. The R-codes are also provided to be readily used by the readers.

Cautionary Rem.rks When Testing.Ag.eem.nt between Two Raters for Continuous Scale m.asurem.nts: A Tutorial in Clinical Epidem.olog. with Im.lem.ntation Using.R

Backg.ound: When continuous scale m.asurem.nts are available, ag.eem.nts between two m.asuring.devices are assessed both g.aphically and analytically. In clinical investig.tions, Bland and Altm.n proposed plotting.subject-wise differences between raters ag.inst subject-wise averag.s. In order to scientifically assess ag.eem.nt, Bartko recom.ended com.ining.the g.aphical approach with the statistical analytic procedure sug.ested by Bradley and Blackwood. The advantag. of using.this approach is that it enables sig.ificance testing.and sam.le size estim.tion. We noted that the direct use of the results of the reg.ession is m.sleading.and we provide a correction in this reg.rd. m.thods: g.aphical and linear m.dels are used to assess ag.eem.nts for continuous scale m.asurem.nts. We dem.nstrate that software linear reg.ession results should not be readily used and we provided correct analytic procedures. The deg.ees of freedom.of the F-statistics are incorrectly reported, and we propose m.thods to overcom. this problem.by introducing.the correct analytic form.of the F statistic. m.thods for sam.le size estim.tion using.R-functions are also g.ven. Results: We believe that the tutorial and the R-codes are useful tools for testing.and estim.ting.ag.eem.nt between two rating.protocols for continuous scale m.asurem.nts. The interested reader m.y use the codes and apply them.to their available data when the issue of ag.eem.nt between two raters is the subject of interest.

Intrinsic Spin Ang.lar m.m.ntum.of Electron Relation to the Discrete Indivisible Quantum.of Tim. Kshana or m.m.nt

The frequency of any periodic event can be defined in term. of units of Tim.. Planck constructed a unit of tim. called the Plank tim. from.other physical constants. Vyasa defined a natural unit of tim., kshana, or m.m.nt based on the m.tion of a fundam.ntal particle. It is the tim. taken by an elem.ntary particle, to chang. its direction from.east to north. According.to Vyasa, kshana is discrete, exceeding.y sm.ll, indivisible, and is a constant tim. quantum. When the intrinsic spin ang.lar m.m.ntum.of an electron was related to the ang.lar m.m.ntum.of a sim.le thin circular plate, spherical shell, and solid sphere m.del of an electron, we found that the value of kshana in seconds was equal to ten to a power of m.nus twenty-one second. The disc m.del for the spinning.electron provides an accurate value of the num.er of kshanas per second as determ.ned previously and com.ared with other spinning.m.dels of electrons. These results indicate that the disk-like m.del of spinning.electrons is the correct m.del for electrons. Vyasa’s definition of kshana opens the possibility of a new foundation for the theory of physical tim., and perspectives in theoretical and philosophical research.
