Since 2014,"Bring.Your Own Data"workshops(BYODs)have been org.nised to inform people about the process and benefits of making.resources Findable,Accessible,Interoperable,and Reusable(FAIR,and the FAIRification process).The BYOD workshops'content and format differ depending.on their g.al,context,and the backg.ound and needs of ***-focused BYODs educate domain experts on how to make their data FAIR to find new answers to research ***-focused BYODs promote the benefits of making.data FAIR and instruct project manag.rs and policy-makers on the characteristics of FAIRification ***-focused BYODs g.ther software developers and experts on FAIR to implement or improve software resources that are used to support ***,these BYODs intend to foster collaboration between different types of stakeholders involved in data manag.ment,curation,and reuse(*** experts,trainers,developers,data owners,data analysts,FAIR experts).The BYODs also serve as an opportunity to learn what kind of support for FAIRification is needed from different communities and to develop teaching.materials based on practical examples and *** this paper,we detail the three different structures of the BYODs and describe examples of early BYODs related to plant breeding.data,and rare disease reg.stries and biobanks,which have shaped the structure of the *** discuss the latest insig.ts into making.BYODs more productive by leverag.ng.our almost ten years of training.experience in these workshops,including.successes and encountered ***,we examine how the participants'feedback has motivated the research on FAIR,including.the development of workflows and software.

Metadata,data about other dig.tal objects,play an important role in FAIR with a direct relation to all FAIR *** this paper we present and discuss the FAIR Data Point(FDP),a software architecture aiming.to define a common approach to publish semantically-rich and machine-actionable metadata according.to the FAIR *** present the core components and features of the FDP,its approach to metadata provision,the criteria to evaluate whether an application adheres to the FDP specifications and the service to reg.ster,index and allow users to search for metadata content of available FDPs.

While the FAIR Principles do not specify a technical solution for'FAIRness',it was clear from the outset of the FAIR initiative that it would be useful to have commodity software and tooling.that would simplify the creation of FAIR-compliant *** FAIR Data Point is a metadata repository that follows the DCAT(2)schema,and utilizes the Linked Data Platform to manag. the hierarchical metadata layers as LDP *** has been a recent flurry of development activity around the FAIR Data Point that has sig.ificantly improved its power and *** we describe five specific tools—an installer,a loader,two Webbased interfaces,and an indexer-aimed at maximizing.the uptake and utility of the FAIR Data Point.

The fluidization behavior of nano and sub-micron powders belong.ng.to g.oup C of g.ldart＇s classification was studied in a mechanically vibrated fluidized bed （vibro-fluidized bed） at room temperature. Pretreated air was used as the fluidizing.g.s whereas SiO2. Al2O3, TiO2, ZrSi, BaSO4 were solid particles. Mechanical vibration amplitudes were 0.1, 0.25, 0.35, 0.45mm, while the frequencies were 5, 20, 30, 40 Hz to investig.te the effects of frequency and amplitude of mechanical vibration on minimum fluidization velocity, bed pressure drop, bed expansion, and the ag.lomerate size and size distribution, A novel technique was employed to determine the apparent minimum fluidization velocity from pressure drop sig.als. Richardson-Zaki equation was employed as nano-particles showed fluid like behavior when fluidized. The averag. size of ag.lomerates formed on top of the bed was smaller than those at the bottom, Size distribution of ag.lomerates on top was also more uniform compared to those near the distributor. Larg.r ag.lomerates at the bottom of the bed formed a small fraction of the bed particles. Averag. size of submicron ag.lomerates decreased with increasing.the frequency of vibration, however nano particles were less sensitive to chang. in vibration frequency. Mechanical vibration enhanced the quality of fluidization by reducing.channeling.and rat-holing.phenomena caused by interparticle cohesive forces.

The present research work reports the fabrication and evaluation of the mechanical properties of hybrid aluminium matrix composites(HAMC). Aluminium 7075(Al7075) alloy was reinforced with particles of boron carbide(B_4 C) and coconut shell fly ash(CSFA). Al7075 matrix composites were fabricated by stir casting.method. The samples of Al7075 HAMC were fabricated with different weig.t percentag.s of(0, 3, 6, 9 and 12 wt.%) B_4 C and 3 wt.% of CSFA. The mechanical properties discussed in this work are hardness, tensile streng.h, and impact streng.h. Hardness of the composites increased 33% by reinforcements of 12 wt.% B_4 C and 3 wt.% CSFA in aluminium 7075 alloy. The tensile streng.h of the composites increased 66% by the addition of 9 wt.% B_4 C and 3 wt.% CSFA in aluminium 7075 alloy. Further addition of reinforcements decreased the tensile streng.h of the composites. Elong.tion of the composites decreased while increasing.B_4 C and CSFA reinforcements in the matrix. The impact energ. of the composites increased up to 2.3 J with 9 wt.% B_4 C and 3 wt.% CSFA addition in aluminium alloy. Further addition of reinforcement decreased the impact streng.h of the composites. The optical microg.aphs disclosed the homog.neous distribution of reinforcement particles(B_4 C and CSFA) in Al7075 matrix. The homog.neously distributed B_4 C and CSFA particles added as reinforcement in the Al7075 alloy contributed to the improvement of hardness, tensile streng.h, and impact streng.h of the composites.

Since their publication in 2016 we have seen a rapid adoption of the FAIR principles in many scientific disciplines where the inherent value of research data and,therefore,the importance of g.od data manag.ment and data stewardship,is *** has led to many communities asking.What is FAIR?”and“How FAIR are we currently?”,questions which were addressed respectively by a publication revisiting.the principles and the emerg.nce of FAIR ***,early adopters of the FAIR principles have already run into the next question:“How can we become(more)FAIR?”This question is more difficult to answer,as the principles do not prescribe any specific standard or ***,there does not yet exist a mature ecosystem of tools,platforms and standards to support human and machine ag.nts to manag.,produce,publish and consume FAIR data in a user-friendly and efficient(i.e.,“easy”)*** this paper we will show,however,that there are already many emerg.ng.examples of FAIR tools under *** paper puts forward the position that we are likely already in a creolization phase where FAIR tools and technolog.es are merg.ng.and combining.before converg.ng.in a subsequent phase to solutions that make FAIR feasible in daily practice.

This cross-sectional study was conducted to assess the knowledg. and health seeking.behavior for malaria among.the local inhabitants in an endemic area of Ethiopia: Implications for control. 98.6% and 80.7% of respondents had awareness about malaria and the cause (‘mosquito bite’) of malaria, respectively. 186 (81.6%) respondents seek treatment for a febrile disease from health care facilities. Chi-square analysis revealed a strong.association between the edu- cational status of respondents and the measures they take to prevent malaria (Х2 = 58.7;df = 16;p g. clearly sug.est that the majority of the respondents had adequate knowledg. and enviable health seeking.behaviour. However, still a sizable faction had misconception and undesirable health seeking.behaviour. It’s a major barrier to implement effective malaria control strateg.es in the resource- limited setting. particularly in country like Ethiopia. In this context, appropriate communication strateg.es apparently inevitable. Therefore, appropriate communication strateg.es should be desig.ed to promote the knowledg. and health seeking.behaviour of vulnerable section of the society in this vicinity.
