This study elaborates on the desig.,fabrication,and data analysis details of SPEED,a recently proposed smartphonebased dig.tal polymerase chain reaction(dPCR)*** dPCR chips incorporate partition diameters rang.ng.from 50μm to 5μm,and these partitions are org.nized into six distinct blocks to facilitate imag. *** to the superior thermal conductivity of Si and its potential for mass production,the dPCR chips were fabricated on a Si substrate.A temperature control system based on a hig.-power density Peltier element and a preheating.cooling.PCR protocol user interface shortening.the thermal cycle *** optical desig. employs four 470 nm lig.t-emitting.diodes as lig.t sources,with filters and mirrors effectively manag.ng.the lig.t emitted during.*** alg.rithm is utilized for imag. processing.and illumination nonuniformity correction including.conversion to a monochromatic format,partition identification,skew correction,and the g.neration of an imag. correction *** validated the device using.a rang. of deoxyribonucleic acid targ.ts,demonstrating.its potential applicability across multiple ***,we provide g.idance and verification of the desig. and testing.of the recently proposed SPEED device.

提出制备含Sc的Al−Cu−Li−Mg.Zr基合金带材的工艺方案。即先采用双辊铸轧技术制备近净形状的3 mm厚带材,再对其进行均匀化/固溶处理。研究两种Al−Cu−Li−Mg.Zr基双辊铸轧合金,其中一种添加质量分数为0.17%的Sc,另一种未添加Sc。两种合金均先在300℃下退火30 min,然后在450℃下退火30 min以及530℃下退火30 min,随后进行室温水淬。前两段退火后组织中生成了细小、弥散的Al_(3)Zr/Al_(3)(Sc,Zr)颗粒。最后的退火步骤起到了均匀化/固溶处理的作用。双辊铸轧材料的细小晶粒结构使含有主要合金元素的原始颗粒在较短的退火时间内溶解。缩短保温时间可以限制表面层中Li的耗尽和Al_(3)Zr/Al_(3)(Sc,Zr)弥散相的明显粗化。铸态含Sc材料已经具有明显细小的晶粒结构,而经均匀化/固溶处理后生成的Al_(3)(Sc,Zr)弥散相抑制了晶粒在高温下发生粗化。在后续180℃下时效处理后,形成了θʹ(Al_(2)Cu)、T1(Al_(2)CuLi)和S'(Al_(2)CuMg.强化相。在峰值时效状态下,屈服强度提高了200 MPa,这一数值与类似直接冷却铸造材料的相当,从而证实了所提方案的合理性。

Despite all efforts,long.term chang.s in the adult sex ratios of breeding.duck populations are still unclear;this uncertainty is especially true for male-bias populations,which are often under the scrutiny of researchers lacking.convenient results for the active protection of endang.red *** with male-bias populations are usually strong.y affected by a decline in population size that leads to a hig.er extinction *** this study,we examined our long.term data of the abundance of breeding.populations in six duck species(Mallard Anas platyrhynchos,g.dwall Mareca strepera,Red-crested Pochard Netta rufina,Common Pochard Aythya ferina,Tufted Duck Aythya fulig.la,and Common g.ldeneye Bucephala clang.la)from fishponds in South Bohemia,Czechia,between 2004 and *** evidence was used to assess long.term chang.s in the adult sex ratio in these breeding.populations and investig.te the possible effects of the NAO index(North Atlantic Oscillation index)on them,indicating.climate conditions in *** determined a long.term decrease of the proportion of females in the breeding.season in two of the six examined species:Common Pochard and Red-crested Pochard,which is driven by the long.term increase in the number of males in contrast to the decreasing.or stable number of females likely caused by different mig.ation behaviours between females and *** the case of Common Pochard,in breeding.populations,we estimated 60-65%of males in the early 2000s rising.to 75-80%in the early ***,we establish no sig.ificant effects linked to climate conditions of the previous winter in these species as a crucial cause of the chang.s of the proportion of females in the breeding.population.

Anisotropy effect on streng.hs of metamorphic rocks

This paper aims to study the effect of anisotropy on streng.hs of several metamorphic rocks of southern(Cine) submassif of Menderes metamorphic massif in southwest Turkey. Four different metamorphic rocks including.foliated phyllite, schist, g.eiss and marble(calcschist) were selected and *** surveys were made along.lines for each rock and evaluated with DIPS prog.am. L-type Schmidt hammer was applied in the directions parallel and perpendicular to foliation during.the field study. Several hand samples and rock blocks were collected during.the field study for measurements of dry and saturated densities, dry and saturated unit weig.ts and porosity, and for petrog.aphic analysis and streng.h determination in laboratory. L-and N-type Schmidt hammers were applied in the directions perpendicular(anisotropy ang.e of 0°) and parallel(anisotropy ang.e of 90) to the foliation on selected blocks of phyllite, schist, g.eiss and marble(calcschist). The phyllite and schist have hig.er porosity and lower density values than the other rocks. However, coarse crystalline g.eiss and marble(calcschist) have hig.er rebound values and streng.hs, and they are classified as strong.very strong.rocks. g.nerally, the rebound values in the direction perpendicular to the foliation are slig.tly hig.er than that in the direction parallel to foliation. Rebound values of N-type Schmidt hammer are hig.er than the L-type values except for phyllite. Sometimes, the rebound values of laboratory and field applications g.ve different results. This may result from variable local conditions such as minerals differentiation,discontinuities, water content, weathering.deg.ee and thickness of foliated structure.

The error of sing.e step-ahead output prediction is the information traditionally used to correct the state estimate while exploiting.the new measurement of the system ***,its dynamics and statistical properties can be further studied and exploited in other *** is known that in the case of suboptimal state estimation,this output prediction error forms a correlated sequence,hence it can be effectively predicted in real *** a suboptimal scenario is typical in applications where the process noise model is not known or it is ***,the paper deals with the problems of analytical and empirical modeling.identification,and prediction of the output error of the suboptimal state estimator for the sake of improving.the output prediction accuracy and ultimately the performance of the model predictive *** improvements are validated on an empirical model of type 1 diabetes within an in-silico experiment focused on g.ycemia prediction and implementation of the MPC-based artificial pancreas.

The study deals with adsorption of Naphthol g.een B on two unburned carbons and the parent coal,from which the UCs have been created in a fluidised-bed power *** attention has been paid to the adsorption equilibrium modelling.experimental data has been analysed using.2-parameter(Lang.uir,Freundlich) and3-parameter(Redlich-Peterson) isotherms — both linear and non-linear reg.essions have been used for the estimation of the isotherm *** the case of both UCs,the Lang.uir isotherm model provides the worst fit,whereas 2-parameter Freundlich and 3-parameter Redlich-Peterson models are both g.od,from which 3-parameter Redlich-Peterson isotherm provides slig.tly better results(despite the penalty used for the hig.er number of parameters).In the case of both UCs,the linear reg.ession of Freundlich and Redlich-Peterson models provides g.od results(comparable with non-linear reg.essions).Unlike both UCs,the best fit of the experimental data from the adsorption on the coal has been achieved by the Lang.uir isotherm *** results based on the Freundlich or Redlich-Peterson model were(in this case) somewhat worse.
