The id.ntification of jets orig.nating.from quarks and.g.uons,often referred.to as quark/g.uon tag.ing.plays an important role in various analyses performed.at the Larg. Had.on Collid.r,as Stand.rd.Mod.l measurements and.searches for new particles d.caying.to quarks often rely on suppressing.a larg. g.uon-ind.ced.*** paper d.scribes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/g.uon tag.ers d.veloped.within the ATLAS Collaboration,using.√s=13 TeV proton–proton collision d.ta with an integ.ated.luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected.by the ATLAS *** tag.ers with hig. performances in rejecting.jets from g.uon over jets from quarks are stud.ed.one tag.er is based.on requirements on the number of inner-d.tector tracks associated.with the jet,and.the other combines several jet substructure observables using.a boosted.d.cision tree.A method.is established.to d.termine the quark/g.uon fraction in d.ta,by using.quark/g.uon-enriched.subsamples d.fined.by the jet *** in tag.ing.efficiency between d.ta and.simulation are provid.d.for jets with transverse momentum between 500 g.V and.2 TeV and.for multiple tag.er working.points.

Exohiss is a low-frequency structureless whistler-mod. emission potentially contributing.to the precipitation loss of rad.ation belt electrons outsid. the plasmasphere. Exohiss is usually consid.red.the plasmaspheric hiss leaked.out of the d.ysid. ***, the evolution of exohiss after the leakag. has not been fully und.rstood. Here we report the prompt enhancements of exohiss waves following.substorm injections observed.by Van Allen Probes. Within several minutes, the energ.tic electron fluxes around.100 keV were enhanced.by up to 5 times, accompanied.by an up to 10-time increase of the exohiss wave power. These substorm-injected.electrons are shown to prod.ce a new peak of linear g.owth rate in the exohiss band.d.ng.path-integ.ated.g.owth rate of wave power within 10° latitud. of the mag.etic equatorial plane can reach 13.4, approximately explaining.the observed.enhancement of exohiss waves. These observations and.simulations sug.est that the substorm-injected.energ.tic electrons could.amplify the preexisting.exohiss waves.

Accurate d.scriptions of matrix d.ffusion across the fracture/matrix interface are critical to assessing.contaminant mig.ation in fractured.med.a. The classical transfer probability method.is only applicable for relatively larg. d.ffusion coefficients and.small fracture spacing., d.e to an intrinsic assumption of an equilibrium concentration profile in the matrix blocks. Motivated.and.required.by practical applications, we propose a d.rect numerical simulation （d.S） approach without any empirical assumptions. A three-step Lag.ang.an alg.rithm was d.veloped.and.valid.ted.to d.rectly track the particle d.namics across the fracture/matrix interface, where particle＇s d.ffusive d.splacement across the d.scontinuity is controlled.by an analytical, one-sid. reflection probability. Numerical experiments show that the d.S approach is especially efficient for small d.ffusion coefficients and.larg. fracture spacing., alleviating.limitations of the classical mod.ling.approach.

超积累植物的确证对成功实施重金属污染环境植物修复是必不可少的。通过野外调查和营养液培养试验 ,研究超积累植物商陆 (PhytolaccaacinosaRoxb )的锰富集特性 ,结果表明 ,商陆对生长介质中的Mn具有很强的耐性和累积能力。商陆在锰含量高达 114× 10 3 mg.g.1的尾矿废弃地上依然生长良好 ,叶锰含量最高达 19 3× 10 3 mg.g.1。温室培养条件下 ,当生长介质中Mn浓度为 8 0 0 0mmolL-1时 ,虽然其生物量与对照相比有所降低 ,但植株仍能生长。随着生长介质中Mn浓度的升高 ,商陆叶和茎的Mn含量逐渐增加 ,生物富集系数则逐渐降低 ,但是地上部分锰积累量则先增加后减少。当Mn浓度为 5 0 0 0mmolL-1时 ,商陆地上部分锰积累量达到最大值 2 5 8 2mg.lant-1;当Mn浓度为 12 0 0 0mmolL-1时 ,商陆仍能完成整个生命周期 ,叶锰含量达到最大值 36 4× 10 3 mg.g.1,生物富集系数为 5 5。不同锰供应水平下 ,商陆吸收的锰有87%～ 95 %被转移到地上部分。这进一步验证商陆的锰超积累特性 ,为利用超积累植物对大面积污染土壤实施植物修复提供了有力证据。
