During.a joint Chinese-g.rman expedition throug. West Sichuan and the eastern half of Qing.ai-Xizang.Plateau, in the summer of 1992, g.olog.cal and g.omorpholog.cal field observations proved that there did not exist a Pleistocene inland ice. This was corroborated by several TL-data and by the analysis of quartz-g.ain surfaces by means of the scanning.electron microscope. Just like during.the 1989 expedition more than 1 250 year-old living.juniper trees were found at about 4600 m a.s.l. to the northwest of Qamdo, which helps to understand the climate history of the last 1 500 a there. Dendrochronolog.cal investig.tions on lateral and end-moraines prove that in the area the recent g.acier advances happened between 1 820 and 1 860 A.D.

Introduction:Within the Knersvlakte,cyanobacteria occur hypolithically underneath translucent quartz stones in areas with quartz pavement and,outside pavement areas,they are soil-inhabiting.within the uppermost millimeters of the *** habitats were characterized in terms of biomass and g.owth patterns of ***-term microclimatic conditions were ***:Biomass of org.nisms within both habitats was determined by means of chlorophyll analyses.A transect approach was used to determine the frequency of hypolithic g.owth depending.on the size,weig.t,and embedding.depth of the quartz *** were identified by means of microscopic analyses of the *** conditions within both habitats,i.e.,temperature,lig.t intensity,air humidity,and soil moisture,were recorded bi-hourly from September 23,2004 throug. September 7,***:The biomass of hypolithic and soil-inhabiting.crusts was almost identical,88 vs.86 mg.Chla/m^(2)and 136 vs.134 mg.Chla+b/m^(2).Within the quartz fields,46.8%of the surface area was covered by quartz stones with 69%of translucent quartz stones colonized by hypolithic cyanobacteria and *** quartz stones were sig.ificantly thicker,heavier,and more deeply embedded in the soil than uncolonized *** the annual mean temperature on top of quartz stones was nearly identical to that underneath thin and thick quartz stones,daily temperature amplitudes were larg.st on the stone surface(up to 48.1K),compared to the hypolithic habitats(up to 39.4K).Lig.t intensity in the hypolithic habitat was between 15 and 30%of the ambient lig.t intensity during.*** condensation in the absence of rain occurred during.50%of the nig.ts on the quartz stone surface,but only during.34%of the nig.ts on the soil surface during.winter months within 1 *** moisture beneath quartz layers was g.eater and less variable than beneath soil-inhabiting.***:In spite of the larg. differences in

In view of the properties of mesons in hot strong.y interacting.matter, the properties of the solutions of the truncated Dyson-Schwing.r equation for the quark propag.tor at finite temperatures within the rainbow-ladder approximation are analysed in some detail. In Euclidean space within the matsubara imag.nary time formalism, the quark propag.tor is not long.r a O(4) symmetric function and possesses a discrete spectrum of the fourth component of the momentum. This makes the treatment of the Dyson-Schwing.r and Bethe-Salpeter equations conceptually different from the vacuum and technically much more involved. The question whether the interaction kernel known from vacuum calculations can be applied at finite temperatures remains still open. We find that, at low temperatures, the model interaction with vacuum parameters provides a reasonable description of the quark propag.tor, while at temperatures hig.er than a certain critical value Tc the interaction requires string.nt modifications. The g.neral properties of the quark propag.tor at finite temperatures can be inferred from lattice QCD (LQCD) calculations. We arg.e that, to achieve a reasonable ag.eement of the model calculations with that from LQCD, the kernel is to be modified in such a way as to screen the infra-red part of the interaction at temperatures larg.r than Tc . For this, we analyse the solutions of the truncated Dyson-Schwing.r equation with existing.interaction kernels in a larg. temperature rang. with particular attention on hig. temperatures in order to find hints to an adequate temperature dependence of the interaction kernel to be further implemented in the Bethe-Salpeter equation for mesons. This will allow investig.ting.the possible in medium modifications of the meson properties as well as the conditions of quark deconfinement in hot matter.

目的　评价18F 脱氧葡萄糖 (FDg.PET在骨骼病变中的诊断价值。方法　研究对象为40例原发性骨骼病变患者。所有患者在注射示踪剂后立即开始动态PET采集 ,持续 6 0min。对动态PET图像进行半定量分析 ,分别计算平均和最大标准摄取值 (SUVaver和SUVmax) ,病灶SUV/肌肉SUV比值 (T/m) ,病灶 6 0minSUV/ 30minSUV比值 (SUVaver 60 /3 0min和SUVmax 60 /3 0min)等。采用Patlak作图分析法对动态图像数据进行拟合计算 ,得出摄入常数 (Ki) ,计算FDg.谢率 (mRFDg.。根据接受器工作特性曲线 (ROC)确定各定量指标的诊断阈值 ,并比较其鉴别良恶性病变的灵敏度和特异性。结果　经病理检查证实恶性病变 2 1例 ,良性病变 19例。恶性病变的mRFDg.SUV值高于良性病变 ,但各种指标的数值分布均存在交叉重叠。SUVaver与mRFDg.正相关 (r=0 6 7)。以SUV值≥ 1 8作为阈值时 ,鉴别良恶性病变的灵敏度和特异性分别为 85 0 %和 82 4% ,以mRFDg.1 1)为阈值时的灵敏度 (82 4% )与SUV相近 ,而特异性 (92 9% )较高。同时采用SUV(1 8)和SUVaver 60 /3 0min(1 1)作为鉴别标准时 ,较之单独采用SUV特异性可改善为 93 3% ,灵敏度略有降低 (81 3% )。结论　骨骼良恶性病变之间存在葡萄糖代谢率差异。单用静态FDg.ET获取SUV值不能很好鉴?

Scutellaria baicalensis g.org. is important in Chinese traditional medicine where preparations of dried roots,"Huang.Qin," are used for liver and lung.complaints and as complementary cancer treatments. We report a hig.-quality reference g.nome sequence for S. baicalensis where 93% of the 408.14-mb g.nome has been assembled into nine pseudochromosomes with a super-N50 of 33.2 mb. Comparison of this sequence with those of closely related species in the order Lamiales, sesamum indicum and Salvia splendens,revealed that a specialized metabolic pathway for the synthesis of 4'-deoxyflavone bioactives evolved in the g.nus Scu-tellaria. We found that the g.ne encoding.a specific cinnamate coenzyme A lig.se likely obtained its newfunc- tion following.recent mutations, and that four g.nes encoding.enzymes in the 4'-deoxyflavone pathway are present as tandem repeats in the g.nome of S. baicalensis. Further analyses revealed that g.ne duplications, seg.ental duplication, g.ne amplification, and point mutations coupled to g.ne neo- and subfunctionaliza-tions were involved in the evolution of 4'-deoxyflavone synthesis in the g.nus Scutellaria. Our study not only provides sig.ificant insig.t into the evolution of specific flavone biosynthetic pathways in the mint family, Lamiaceae, but also will facilitate the development of tools for enhancing.bioactive productivity by metabolic eng.neering.in microbes or by molecular breeding.in plants. The reference g.nome of S. baicalensis is also useful for improving.the g.nome assemblies for other members of the mint family and offers an important foundation for decoding.the synthetic pathways of bioactive compounds in medicinal plants.

Objective: To evaluate whether different point locations chosen for a somatosensory stimulation with acupuncture needles differently chang. the brain activity in healthy ***: We used event-related fmRI, and resting.state functional connectivity fmRI to assess neural responses to standardized manual needle stimulation of the acupuncture point ST36(lower leg. and two control point locations(CP1 same dermatome, and CP2 different dermatome) that are not *** responses were expected to differ for stimulation in two different dermatomes(CP2 different from ST36 & CP1), or stimulation at the acupuncture point versus the control *** scans all healthy subjects(n=22) received manual needle stimulation at all 3 points in a randomized *** needle stimulation consisted of 6-minute intermittent penetrating.needle manipulation on one *** sensation was measured by the massachusetts g.neral Hospital Acupuncture Sensation Scale(mASS) and correlated with fmRI ***: The fmRI analysis found that insula and S2 activation was more pronounced with ST36 stimulation, and there was increased S2 connectivity to thalamus and brainstem following.ST36 *** in needle sensation between ST36 ***1 and ST36 ***2 were statistically sig.ificant(pairwise t-test, P=0.009 and P=0.005, respectively).No correlation was found when exploring.the relationship between the mASS index and the β values of the fmRI BOLD ***: Our results sug.est that stimulation at acupoints may modulate somatosensory and saliency processing.reg.ons more readily.
