Present-day along.strike heterog.neities within the Himalayan orog.n are seen at many sc.les, from variations within the deep arc.itec.ure of the lithospheric.mantle, to differenc.s in g.omorpholog.c.surfac. proc.sses. Here, we present an internally c.nsistent petroc.ronolog.c.dataset from the Himalayan metamorphic.c.re(HMc., in order to doc.ment and investig.te the c.uses of along.strike variations in its Olig.c.ne-Mioc.ne tec.onic.history. Laser ablation split-stream analysis was used to date and c.arac.erise the g.oc.emistry of titanite from 47 c.lc.silic.te roc.s ac.oss >2000 km along.the *** c.mbined U-Pb-REE-Zr sing.e mineral dataset c.rc.mvents unc.rtainties assoc.ated with interpretations based on data c.mpilations from different studies, mineral systems and laboratories, and allows for direc. along.strike c.mparisons in the timing.of metamorphic.proc.sses. Titanite dates rang. from ～30 Ma to 12 Ma, rec.rding.re-)c.ystallization between 625 ℃ and 815 ℃. Titanite T-t data overlap with previously published P-T-t paths from interleaved peltic.roc.s, demonstrating.the usefulness of titanite petroc.ronolog. for rec.rding.the metamorphic.history in litholog.es not traditionally used for thermobarometry. Overall, the data indic.te a broad eastward-young.ng.trend along.the *** in the duration and timing.of metamorphism within the HMc.are best explained by along.trike variations in the position of ramps on the basal detac.ment c.ntrolling.a two-stag. proc.ss of preferential duc.ile ac.retion at depth followed by the formation of later upper-c.ust brittle *** proc.sses, c.upled with variable erosion, resulted in the asymmetric.exhumation of a young.r,thic.er c.ystalline c.re in the eastern Himalaya.

Developing.methods to use inventory-based and Ec.flux measurements tog.ther with modeling.approac.es is nec.ssary evaluate forest c.dynamic. ac.oss broad spatial extents. Methods： c.ang.s in c.stoc. c.ang. （Ac. were c.mputed based on repeated measurements of forest inventory plots and c.mpared with separate measurements of c.mulative net ec.system produc.ivity （~NEP） over four years （2003 - 2006） for Doug.as-fir （Pseudotsug. menzies# var menziesil} dominated reg.neration （HDF00）, juvenile （HDF88 and HDF90） and near-rotation （DF49） ag.d stands （6, 18, 20, 57 years old in 2006, respec.ively） in c.astal British c.lumbia. Ac.was determined from forest inventory plot data alone, and in a hybrid approac. using.inventory data along.with litter fall data and published dec.y equations to determine the c.ang. in detrital pools. These Ac.based estimates were then c.mpared with Y_NEP measured at an eddy-c.varianc. flux-tower （Ec.flux） and modelled by the c.rbon Budg.t Model - c.nadian Forest Sec.or （c.M-c.S3） using.historic.forest inventory and forest disturbanc. data. Bac.g.ound: c.rvic.l c.nc.r (c.) is one of the most frequent c.nc.rs and the leading.c.use of death from g.nec.log.c.l c.nc.r in Low and middle inc.me c.untries, c.meroon inc.usive. Surg.ry is the primary treatment modality when the disease is diag.osed at early stag.. Radic.l hysterec.omy in c.rvic.l c.nc.r has not been evaluated in rec.nt years in c.meroon. The purpose of this study is thus to evaluate the epidemiolog.c.l and c.inic.l features and short term outc.mes of patients who underwent surg.ry. Patients and methods: This retrospec.ive study was c.nduc.ed at the Douala g.naec.-obstetric.and Pediatric.Hospital and the Douala g.neral Hospital. c.rvic.l c.nc.r patients who underwent Radic.l hysterec.omy between January 2015 and Dec.mber 2020 were inc.uded. A pre-established data c.llec.ion tool was used to rec.rd soc.o-demog.aphic. c.inic.l and outc.mes information from patients’ files;additional outc.me information was obtained from phone c.lls. Desc.iptive analysis was done using.the SPSS version 26. Bivariate analysis was used to determine assoc.ations between disease and patients c.arac.eristic. and oc.urrenc. of adverse postoperative outc.me. P value of 0.05 was c.nsidered. Results: Sixty one patients were enrolled. Their ag.s rang.d from 33 to 74 years with a mean ag. of 51.95 ± 10.29 years. Over 85% of women were married, 65.57% were unemployed and 86.88% were multiparous. Only 28% had never done c.rvic.l c.nc.r sc.eening. Most patients had stag. IB1 to IB2 stag. disease (57.1%). Less than 9% underwent radic.l hysterec.omy and 8 of those (13.11%) suffered intraoperative c.mplic.tions. Twenty-five patients (40.98%) presented immediate and short term c.mplic.tions. There was no sig.ific.nt assoc.ation between the disease or patients’ c.arac.eristic. and adverse outc.mes. c.nc.usion: c.rvic.l c.nc.r patients are relatively young.in our setting. and only 9% of them reac. the hospital at early stag.. Two-pore domain potassium (K2P) c.annels g.te primarily within the selec.ivity filter, termed ‘c.type’ g.ting. Due to the lac. of struc.ural insig.ts into the nonc.nduc.ive (c.osed) state, ‘c.type’ g.ting.mec.anisms remain elusive. Here, molec.lar dynamic. (MD) simulations on TREK-1, a K2P c.annel, revealed that M4 helix movements induc. filter c.osing.in a novel ‘deeper-down’ struc.ure that represents a ‘c.type’ c.osed state. The ‘down’ struc.ure does not represent the c.osed state as previously proposed and instead ac.s as an intermediate state in g.ting. The study identified the allosteric.‘seesaw’ mec.anism of M4 helix movements in modulating.filter c.osing. Finally, g.ided by this rec.g.ition of K2P g.ting.mec.anisms, MD simulations revealed that g.in-of-func.ion mutations and small-molec.le ac.ivators ac.ivate TREK-1 by perturbing.state transitions from open to c.osed states. Tog.ther, we reveal a ‘c.type’ c.osed state and provide mec.anic.l insig.ts into g.ting.proc.dures and allosteric.reg.lations for K2P c.annels.

Three new c.anido-bridg.d heterometallic.Re~ⅣNi~Ⅱ and Re~Ⅳc.~Ⅱone-dimensional systems were synthesized and extensively c.arac.erized both struc.urally and mag.etic.lly. Sing.e-c.ystal X-ray diffrac.ion analysis revealed that these c.mpounds display a c.mmon topolog., with c.ains c.mposed of alternating.[Re~Ⅳc.4(c.)2]and [M~Ⅱ(c.c.am)](M = Ni in 1, c. in 2) or [c.~Ⅱ(N,N′-dimethylc.c.am)](in 3) building.units. Two different c.ain orientations with a tilt ang.e of c.. 51° to 55° are present in the c.ystal pac.ing.of these c.mpounds. The mag.etic.susc.ptibility measurements sug.est the presenc. of intrac.ain ferromag.etic.interac.ions between the S = 3/2 Re~Ⅳc.nters and the 3d metal ions: S = 1 Ni~Ⅱ or S = 1/2 c.~Ⅱ. At low temperature, a three-dimensional ordered mag.etic.phase induc.d by interc.ain antiferromag.etic.interac.ions (antiferromag.etic.for 1 and 2; c.nted antiferromag.etic.for 3) is detec.ed for the three c.mpounds.
