The interaction of Cu2+ with the first 16 residues of the Alzheimer's amyliod β peptide, Aβ (1-16), was studied by employing isothermal titration calorimetry at pH 7.2 and 37℃ in aqueous solution. The gholamreza rezaei Behbehani (gRB) solvation model was used to reproduce the enthalpies of Cu2++ Aβ(1-16) interaction over the whole Cu2+ concentrations. The binding parameters recovered from the solvation model were attributed to the structural change of Aβ (1-16) due to the metal ion interaction. It was found that there is a set of two identical and non interacting binding sites for Cu2+ ions. The molar enthalpy of binding is ΔH=27.895 kJ/mol. The association binding constants are 1.895 μM-1 and 1.891 μM-1 for the first and second binding sites respectively.

Simultaneous effects of an on-center hydrogenic impurity and band edge non-parabolicity on intersubband optical absorption coefficients and refractive index changes of a typical gaAs/Alxga1-xAs spherical quantum dot are theoretically investigated, using the Luttinger-Kohn effective mass equation. So, electronic structure and optical properties of the system are studied by means of the matrix diagonalization technique and compact density matrix approach, respectively. Finally, effects of an impurity, band edge non-parabolicity, incident light intensity and the dot size on the linear, the third-order nonlinear and the total optical absorption coemcients and refractive index changes are investigated. Our results indicate that, the magnitudes of these optical quantities increase and their peaks shift to higher energies as the influences of the impurity and the band edge non-parabolicity are considered. Moreover, incident light intensity and the dot size have considerable effects on the optical absorption coefficients and refractive index changes.

Simultaneous effects of conduction band non-parabolicity and hydrostatic pressure on the binding energies of 1S, 2S, and 2P states along with diamagnetic susceptibility of an on-center hydrogenic impurity confined in typical gaAs/Alx- ga1-x As spherical quantum dots are theoretically investigated using the matrix diagonalization method. In this regard, the effect of band non-parabolieity has been performed using the Luttinger-Kohn effective mass equation. The binding energies and the diamagnetic susceptibility of the hydrogenic impurity are computed as a function of the dot radius and different values of the pressure in the presence of conduction band non-parabolicity effect. The results we arrived at are as follows： the incorporation of the band edge non-parabolicity increases the binding energies and decreases the absolute value of the diamagnetic susceptibility for a given pressure and radius; the binding energies increase and the magnitude of the diamagnetic susceptibility reduces with increasing pressure.

A thermodynamic study on the interaction of myelin basic protein with mercury ion was studied by using isothermal titration calonmetry,ITC,at 300.15,310.15 and 320.15 K in Tris buffer solution at pH *** enthalpies of MBP ＋ Hg^（2＋） interaction are reported and analysed in terms of the extended solvation *** was found that MBP has two identical and non-cooperative binding sites for Hg^（2＋） *** intrinsic dissociation equilibrium constants are 99.904,112.968 and 126.724μmol/L,and the molar enthalpy of binding are -11.634,-10.768 and -10.117kJ mol^（-1） at 300.15,310.15 and 320.15 K,respectively.

Cyanide ion was studied as an inhibitor of Jack bean urease at 300 K in 30 mmol/L tris buffer, pH 7. The inhibition was investigated by isothermal titration calorimetry （ITC）. The extended solvation model was used for CN^- ＋ JBU interaction over the whole range of CN^- concentrations. The binding parameters recovered from the solvation model were attributed to the cyanide ion interaction. It was found that cyanide ion acted as a non-cooperative inhibitor ofurease, and there is a set of 12 ± 0.12 identical and independent binding sites for CN- ions. The dissociation equilibrium constant is 749.99 umol/L. The molar enthalpy of binding is AH= -13.60 kJ mol^-1.

An analytical study with respect to the nonlinear corrections for the nuclear gluon distribution function in the next-to-leading order approximation at small x is *** consider the nonlinear corrections to the nuclear gluon distribution functions at low values of x and Q^(2) using the parametrization F_(2)(x,Q^(2))and the nuclear modification factors obtained from the Khanpour-Soleymaninia-Atashbar-Spiesberger-guzey *** CT18 gluon distribution is used for the baseline proton gluon density at Q^(2)_(0)=*** discuss the behavior of the gluon densities in the next-to-leading order and the next-to-next-to-leading order approximations at the initial scale Q^(2)_(0),as well as the modifications due to the nonlinear *** find that the QCD nonlinear corrections are more significant for the next-to-leading order accuracy than the next-to-next-to-leading order for light and heavy *** results of the nonlinear gLR-MQ evolution equation are similar to those obtained with the Rausch-guzey-Klasen gluon upward and downward evolutions within the *** magnitude of the gluon distribution with the nonlinear corrections increases with a decrease in x and an increase in atomic number A.

Due to the lack of a uniform and accurate defi-nition of‘drought’,several indicators have been introduced based on different variables and methods,and the efficiency of each of these is determined according to their relationship with *** relationship between two drought indices,SPI(standardized precipitation index)and SPEI(standard-ized precipitation-evapotranspiration index)in different sea-sons was investigated using annual rings of 15 tree samples to determine the effect of drought on the growth of oriental beech(Fagus orientalis Lipsky)in the Hyrcanian forests of northern *** different evapotranspiration calcula-tion methods were evaluated on SPEI efficiency based on Hargreaves-Samani,Thornthwaite,and Penman-Monteith methods using the step-by-step M5 decision tree regression *** results show that SPEI based on the Penman-Monteith in a three-month time scale(spring)had similar temporal changes and a better relationship with annual tree rings(R^(2)=0.81)at a 0.05 significant *** change and a decreasing trend in the time series of annual tree rings are similar to the variation in the SPEI based on the Penman-Monteith *** affecting evapotranspiration,temperature,wind speed,and sunshine hours(used in the Penman-Monteith method),increased but precipitation *** non-linear modeling methods,SPEI based on Penman-Monteith best illustrated climate changes affecting tree growth.
