Theoretical Modelling of Metallurgical Defect Closing-Up Processes During Forming a Forging

Computer modelling using an FEM-based program, i.e. Forge 2008, was carried out. Laboratory model-ling of the process of free hot forging in shaped anvils was conducted to close up metallurgical defects. Results ob- tained from the simulation modelling were processed by using a commercial statistical package, i.e. Statistica 6.0 PL. The influence of the anvil shape and main parameters of the forging process on closing up metallurgical defects were determined. On the basis of the investigation carried out, the optimal values of main forging technologieal parameters and suitable groups of anvils to be used in particular forging tages are proposed for the elimination of metallurgical defects.

Structure and properties of diffusive titanium nitride layers produced by hybrid method on AZ91D magnesium alloy

A diffusive titanium nitride layers were produced on AZ91 D magnesium alloy by a hybrid method which combines the titanium coating physical vapor deposition（PVD） with subsequent nitriding. The layers are composed of a thin surface zone of titanium nitrides and oxides, an intermediate titanium zone and Ti-Al-Mg type diffusive zone. Since the layers improve the corrosion resistance, the best corrosion resistance is obtained when the layers are produced on aluminum base sub-layer by oxynitriding.

Inﬂammatory myoﬁbroblastic tumor(IMT)is a rare neoplasm with intermediate malignancy characterized by a propensity for recurrence but a low metastatic *** challenges arise from the diverse pathological presentation,variable symptomatology,and lack of different imaging ***,IMT is identiﬁed by the fusion of the anaplastic lymphoma kinase(ALK)gene,which is present in approximately 70%of cases,with various fusion partners,including ran-binding protein 2(RANBP2),which allows conﬁrmation of the *** surgery is the preferred approach for localized tumors,the optimal long-term treatment for advanced or metastatic disease is difﬁcult to deﬁ*** therapies are crucial for achieving sustained response to treatment within the context of genetic alteration in ***,an ALK tyrosine kinase inhibitor(TKI),was ofﬁcially approved by the US Food and Drug Administration(FDA)in 2020 to treat IMT with ALK ***,most patients face resistance and disease progression,requiring consideration of sequential *** radiotherapy with targeted therapy appears to be beneﬁcial in this *** promising results have also been achieved with immunotherapy,indicating potential for combined therapy ***,deﬁned recommendations are still *** review analyzes the available research on IMT,including genetic disorders and their impact on the course of the disease,data on the latest targeted therapy regimens and the possibility of developing immunotherapy in this indication,as well as summarizing general knowledge about prognostic and predictive factors,also in terms of resistance to systemic therapy.

INTRODUCTION Anthropogenic activities and associated factors such as climate change and habitat destruction are causing the ongoing sixth mass extinction on Earth,which is a major characteristic of the ***,these factors pose the most serious environmental threat to the existence of civilization because it is *** than 500 species of mammals were found to be on the brink of extinction and likely to be lost within 20 years(Ceballos et al.2020).One example is the common hamster Cricetus cricetus(Linnaeus,1758).In 2020,this species was classified as Critically Endangered across its global range by the IUCN Red List(banaszek et al.2020).The protection status of the common hamster was elevated by 4 levels at once—from Least Concern to Critically *** the causes behind the dramatic decline of the species are not fully understood,one may suppose it stems from the negative impact of habitat degradation and even climate change(banaszek et al.2020).
