Patients with inflam.atory bowel disease(IBD)are m.re likely to have concurrent im.une-m.diated inflam.atory diseases(Im.Ds)than those without *** have been observed to alter the phenotype and outcom.s of IBD in recent *** studies have found that IBD patients with concurrent Im.Ds m.y have m.re extensive or severe disease phenotypes,and are considered to be at increased risk of requiring biologics and IBD-related surgeries,suggesting that having m.ltiple Im.Ds is a poor prognostic factor for ***,IBD patients with prim.ry sclerosing cholangitis and Takayasu arteritis are reported to have unique endoscopic phenotypes,suggesting concurrent Im.Ds can influence IBD phenotype with specific intestinal inflam.atory *** this review,we discuss the pathogenesis,disease phenotypes,and clinical outcom.s in IBD patients with concom.tant Im.Ds.

The spin polarized β-em.tting nuclei12B (I π=1+,T 1/2=20.18 m.) were produced by the nuclear reaction11B(d, p)12B and by the selection technique of the incident deuteron energy and the12B recoil angle following the nuclear reaction. The nuclear m.gnetic m.m.nt of the short-lived nuclei12B was m.asured by β-Nm. with the β-Nm. and β-NQR setup established for the first tim. in China. The nuclear m.gnetic m.m.nt of12B was determ.ned to be μ=0.99993±0.00048 nm.org=0.99993±0.00048 after the precise correction of the Knight shift.

Great interest has been aroused on deeply-situated Osaka clay since Kobe Earthquake in 1994. In this paper is presented the analysis on the results of a series of lab tests on Osaka clay situated from.100 m.to 1500 m.under the ground. The wave velocity m.thod, bender elem.nt m.thod, LDT and the form.la derived by the authors are used, focus is put on the pre-failure m.chanical behavior of the clay. The analysis shows that, (i) pore-pressure coefficient B is less than 1.0, (ii) the relationship between shear m.dulus and Poisson's ratio is not in agreem.nt with that reported before, (iii) the m.dulus m.asured with LDT is still less than that m.asured with bender elem.nt m.thod, and (iv) there are two threshold strains, within which the clay can be considered as elastic, and both of them.are larger than that reported before.

We describe a polarization rotator based on a parallel-core structure consisting of a silicon nanowire waveguide and a silicon-nitride *** 60-μm.long rotator provides a polarization extinction ratio of m.re than 10 dB with excess loss of less than 1 *** addition,the extrem.ly wide bandwidth of m.re than 150 nm.expected from.calculations is confirm.d in experim.nts.A study of the fabrication tolerance of our rotator indicates that fabrication error of around 25 nm.is allowable.

Direct radiative capture processes are well described by a spherical potential m.del. Since m.st nuclei are not spherical, and in order for the m.del to explain direct radiative captures m.re accurately, the effect of nuclear deform.tion has been analyzed with q-deform.d Woods-Saxon potential in this work. The results im.ly that nuclear deform.tion largely affects the direct radiative capture, and it should be taken into account when discussing direct capture reactions.

Diam.nd-like Carbon (DLC) coatings of thickness 3 μm.and 10 μm.were deposited with and without radical nitriding on stainless steel disk and ring specim.ns. Plasm. CVD m.thod was used to deposit the DLC coatings with silicon as dopant. The specim.ns were tested in vacuum.under sliding contact condition to evaluate the tribological characteristics with reference to the DLC coating thickness and sliding distance. The results revealed that wear resistance was m.re for the highest coating thickness. The changes on the worn surfaces were observed and wear m.chanism.is discussed using ex situ analysis.

The g-factors of Ground Rotational Band states of N = 44 isotones 82^Sr, 83^Y, 84^Zr and 85^Nb have been m.asured by the transient-m.gnetic-field ion im.lantation perturbed angular distribution （Tm.-Im.AD） m.thod. The m.asured g-factors of 82^Sr increase with the increase of spin I, indicating a proton alignm.nt only. Positive peaks appear in the variation of g-factors with spin for 83^Y and 84^Zzr at spin 21/2^＋ and 10^＋ respectively, indicating a proton alignm.nt followed by a neutron alignm.nt. A negative peak occurs for SSNb at the spin 25/2^＋, indicating a neutron alignm.nt followed by a proton alignm.nt.

The need for visual landscape assessm.nt in large-scale projects for the evaluation of the effects of a particular project on the surrounding landscape has grown in recent years. Augm.nted reality （AR） has been considered for use as a landscape sim.lation system.in which a landscape assessm.nt object created by 3D m.dels is included in the present surroundings. With the use of this system. the tim. and the cost needed to perform.a 3DCG m.deling of present surroundings, which is a m.jor issue in virtual reality, are drastically reduced. This research presents the developm.nt of a 3D m.poriented handheld AR system.that achieves geom.tric consistency using a 3D m.p to obtain position data instead of GPS, which has tow position inform.tion accuracy, particularly in urban areas. The new system.also features a gyroscope sensor to obtain posture data and a video cam.ra to capture live video of the present surroundings. All these com.onents are m.unted in a sm.rtphone and can be used for urban landscape assessm.nt. Registration accuracy is evaluated to sim.late an urban landscape from.a short- to a long-range scale. The latter involves a distance of approxim.tely 2000 m. The developed AR system.enables users to sim.late a Landscape from.m.ltiple and longdistance viewpoints sim.ltaneously and to walk around the viewpoint fields using only a sm.rtphone. This result is the tolerance level of Landscape assessm.nt. In conclusion, the proposed m.thod is evaluated as feasible and effective.
