The Weibull distribution is regarded as among the finest in the family of failure *** of the most commonly used parameters of the Weibull distribution(WD)is the ordinary least squares(OLS)technique,which is useful in reliability and lifetime *** this study,we propose an approach based on the ordinary least squares and the multilayer perceptron(MLP)neural network called the OLSMLP that is based on the resilience of the OLS *** MLP solves the problem of heteroscedasticity that distorts the estimation of the parameters of the WD due to the presence of outliers,and eases the difficulty of determining weights in case of the weighted least square(WLS).Another method is proposed by incorporating a weight into the general entropy(GE)loss function to estimate the parameters of the WD to obtain a modified loss function(WGE).Furthermore,a Monte Carlo simulation is performed to examine the performance of the proposed OLSMLP method in comparison with approximate Bayesian estimation(BLWGE)by using a weighted GE loss *** results of the simulation showed that the two proposed methods produced good estimates even for small sample *** addition,the techniques proposed here are typically the preferred options when estimating parameters compared with other available methods,in terms of the mean squared error and requirements related to time.

The introduction of w-operation in the class of flat modules has been successful. Let R be a ring. An R-module M is called a w-fiat module if Tor1r（M, N） is GV-torsion for all R-modules N. In this paper, we introduce the w-operation in Gorenstein homological algebra. An R-module M is called Ding w-flat if there exists an exact sequence of projective R-modules ... → P1 → P0 → p0 → p1 → ... such that M Im（P0 → p0） and such that the functor HomR （-,F） leaves the sequence exact whenever F is w-flat. Several well- known classes of rings are characterized in terms of Ding w-flat modules. Some examples are given to show that Ding w-flat modules lie strictly between projective modules and Gorenstein projective modules. The Ding w-flat dimension （of modules and rings） and the existence of Ding w-flat precovers are also studied.

The intestinal microbiome has emerged as an important component involved in various ***,the interest in understanding the factors shaping its composition is *** gut microbiome,often defined as a complex trait,contains diverse components and its properties are determined by a combination of external and internal *** much effort has been invested so far,it is still difficult to evaluate the extent to which human genetics shape the composition of the gut ***,in mouse studies,where the environmental factors are better controlled,the effect of the genetic background was *** purpose of this paper is to provide a current assessment of the role of human host genetics in shaping the gut microbiome *** the inconsistency of the reported results,it can be estimated that the genetic factor affects a portion of the ***,this effect is currently lower than the initial estimates,and it is difficult to separate the genetic influence from the environmental ***,despite the differences between the microbial composition of humans and mice,results from mouse models can strengthen our knowledge of host genetics underlying the human gut microbial variation.

This study aimed to address the remediation of crude oil-contaminated soil by employing four different factorial setups:I-used the earthworms(Eudrilus eugeniae)for vermiremediation,II–utilized the bacteria(Pseudomonas aeruginosa FA-7)for bioaugmentation,III–combined earthworms+bacteria to perform vermiremediation+bioaugmentation,and IV–served as abiotic ***,garden soil weighing 1 kg and 50 g of desiccated cow dung were introduced into the experimental groups and abiotic ***,different quantities of crude oil ranging from 5 to 20 mL were *** on the results,from 5 mL of oil-contaminated soil,the factorial setup-III removed the maximum proportion of total petroleum hydrocarbons(TPH)in V+B1(58.06%).The abiotic control treatments AC1(1.11%)exhibited the lowest TPH removal *** bioremediated soil had significantly(P<0.05)different physicochemical properties than the initial crude oil contaminated *** instance,earthworm and microbial action resulted in considerable reductions in pH(4.72%),total organic carbon(44.03%),total nitrogen(42.42%),total phosphorus(52.17%),and total potassium(22.64%)by the end of the *** the 60th day of factorial setup-III,the bacterial population(386.470±0.432 CFU×10^(6) g^(−1)),actinomycetes(188.043±0.246 CFU×10^(8) g^(−1)),and fungi(16.603±0.202 CFU×10^(5) g^(−1))were *** germination rates of Trigonella foenum-graecum seeds were increased by 86.6%in factorial setup III(V+B1)when compared to other factorial ***,the incorporation of vermiremediation and bioaugmentation provides a distinctive platform for effective oil-contaminated soil remediation.

Cloud resource scheduling is gaining prominence with the increasingtrends of reliance on cloud infrastructure solutions. Numerous sets of cloudresource scheduling models were evident in the literature. Cloud resource scheduling refers to the distinct set of algorithms or programs the service providersengage to maintain the service level allocation for various resources over a virtualenvironment. The model proposed in this manuscript schedules resources of virtual machines under potential volatility aspects, which can be applied for anypriority metric chosen by the server administrators. Also, the model can be flexible for any time frame-based analysis of the load factor. The model discussed inthis manuscript relies on the Bollinger Bands tool for understanding the potentialvolatility aspects of a Virtual Machine. The experimental study of the model compared to the contemporary load balancing model called STLB (Starvation Threshold-based Load Balancing) refers to a simple and potential model that can bemore pragmatic for sustainable ways of load balancing.

The unique chemical mechanical, and thermodynamic properties of nanofluids make them a subject of great interest for scientists from all domains. Such fluids are of particular significance in biomedical engineering owing to their vast and novel applications in modern drug delivery systems; for example, mixed convective peristaltic flow of water-based nanofluids under the influence of an externally applied magnetic field is of particular significance. Hence, a lot of research has focused on peristalsis in the presence of velocity and thermal slip effects. An empirical relation for the effective viscosity of the nanofluid is proposed here for the first time. The viscosity of the nanofluid varies with temperature and nanoparticle volume fraction. Numerical simulation of the resulting nonlinear system of equations is presented for different quantities of interest. The results indicate that the maximum velocity and temperature of the copper-water nanofluid increase for larger variable viscosity parameter. The pressure gradient in the wider part of the channel is also found to increase as a function of the variable viscosity parameter. The variable viscosity parameter also influences the size of the trapped bolus. An increase in the nanoparticle volume fraction reduces the reflux phenomenon in a peristaltic flow.

Peristaltic flow by a sinusoidal traveling wave in the walls of two-dimensional channel with wall properties is investigated. The channel is filled with incompressible Eyring-Powell fluid. Mathematical modeling is developed through aspects of Hall current, thermal deposition and convection. Long wavelength and low Reynolds number considerations are adopted. Perturbation solutions to the resulting problem for small material parameter of fluid are obtained. Expressions of velocity, temperature, concentration and stream function are derived. Variations of pertinent parameters on the physical quantities of interest are explored in detail. The present analysis is especially important to predict the rheological characteristics in engineering applications by peristalsis.
