This paper revisits the synchronisation problem for second-order multi-agent systems(MASs)under dynamically changing communication *** employing the reference model-based synchronisation algorithm,it is finally shown that synchronisation for both the position and velocity states can be achieved if the union of the communication topologies has a directed spanning tree frequently *** extends the existing results obtained for second-order MASs which exploits mild communication topology condition guaranteeing the synchronisation to a more general *** analysis is successfully performed by exploiting the product properties of row-stochastic matrices,which can also provide us with an estimate the convergence rate towards the synchronisation.

The control design problem plays a fundamental role in the study of logical control networks(LCNs).This paper presents a detailed survey on new developments in control design techniques of ***,some preliminary results on the semi-tensor product method and LCNs are ***,we move on to some new developments for control design techniques of LCNs,including the reachable set approach,the pinning control technique,the control Lyapunov function approach,the event-triggered control technique,and the sampled-data control ***,an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of these techniques.

This paper studies the state/output synchronization of switched Boolean networks （SBNs） with impulsive effects via the algebraic state space representation （ASSR） approach. First, an algebraic form is established for SBNs with impulsive effects via ASSR. Second, based on the algebraic form, some necessary and sufficient conditions are presented for the state/output synchronization of SBNs with impulsive effects under arbitrary switching signals. Third, two special kinds of switching signals, that is, free switching signal and feedback switching signal, are considered for the state synchroniza-tion of SBNs with impulsive effects. Finally, two illustrative examples are worked out to show the effectiveness of the obtained results.

The unique chemical mechanical, and thermodynamic properties of nanofluids make them a subject of great interest for scientists from all domains. Such fluids are of particular significance in biomedical engineering owing to their vast and novel applications in modern drug delivery systems; for example, mixed convective peristaltic flow of water-based nanofluids under the influence of an externally applied magnetic field is of particular significance. Hence, a lot of research has focused on peristalsis in the presence of velocity and thermal slip effects. An empirical relation for the effective viscosity of the nanofluid is proposed here for the first time. The viscosity of the nanofluid varies with temperature and nanoparticle volume fraction. Numerical simulation of the resulting nonlinear system of equations is presented for different quantities of interest. The results indicate that the maximum velocity and temperature of the copper-water nanofluid increase for larger variable viscosity parameter. The pressure gradient in the wider part of the channel is also found to increase as a function of the variable viscosity parameter. The variable viscosity parameter also influences the size of the trapped bolus. An increase in the nanoparticle volume fraction reduces the reflux phenomenon in a peristaltic flow.

Peristaltic flow by a sinusoidal traveling wave in the walls of two-dimensional channel with wall properties is investigated. The channel is filled with incompressible eyring-Powell fluid. Mathematical modeling is developed through aspects of Hall current, thermal deposition and convection. Long wavelength and low Reynolds number considerations are adopted. Perturbation solutions to the resulting problem for small material parameter of fluid are obtained. expressions of velocity, temperature, concentration and stream function are derived. Variations of pertinent parameters on the physical quantities of interest are explored in detail. The present analysis is especially important to predict the rheological characteristics in engineering applications by peristalsis.
