Corrosion damage behaviors of rubber O-rings under simulated acid fracturing conditions

To explore the damage behavior of O-ring in acid environment,a high-temperature and high-pressure(HTHP)autoclave was used to simulate the service environment of O-ring,and then 168h corrosion test of hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber(HNBR)and fluororubber(FM)O-rings were carried out.The corrosion damage behaviors of two kinds of rubber O-rings in the acidizing fluid were studied through determining their tensile strength,elongation at break,hardness,permanent compressive deformation,tensile fracture morphology and sealing property.The results showed that the crosssectional area and the compression permanent deformation increased,the tensile strength and hardness decreased when the HNBR and FM O-rings under the free state were subjected to acid corrosion.The elongation at break of HNBR decreased,and that of FM rubber increased greatly.Similar with free state,the HNBR and FM O-rings under sealed state also presented the same variation trend.The decrease in the reliability of the O-rings under the sealed state was less significant than that in the free state.In the test,tensile fractures were mostly brittle fractures,HNBR and FM O-rings had obvious corrosion damages such as deformation and swelling.The results could provide a technical basis for the selection of sealing materials,tool optimization design,and construction work in oil and gas fields.

Cable-like Au@SiO2 Janus composite nanorods with PS and PEG grafting on both ends respectively are fabricated by skiving in combination of a post favorable modification. The cable-like Au@SiO2 composite nanofibers are synthesized in the channel of porous anodic aluminium oxide （AAO） membrane. After skiving, the corresponding composite nanorods are obtained. Following, PEG-SH and PS-SH are conjugated onto the two ends of the nanorods by a selective partial modification, respectively. Length and diameter of the Au@SiO2 Janus composite nanorods can be tuned controllably. It can be extended to fabricate a variety of different Janus nanorods with different compositions and microstructures.

BACKGROUND:We aimed to investigate the gene expression of myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury(MIRI)in patients with acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)using stress and toxicity pathway gene chip technology and try to determine the underlying mechanism.METHODS:The mononuclear cells were separated by ficoll centrifugation,and plasma total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)was determined by the ferric reducing ability of plasma(FRAP)assay.The expression of toxic oxidative stress genes was determined and verified by oligo gene chip and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR).Additionally,gene ontology(GO)enrichment analysis was performed on DAVID website to analyze the potential mechanism further.RESULTS:The total numbers of white blood cells(WBC)and neutrophils(N)in the peripheral blood of STEMI patients(the AMI group)were significantly higher than those in the control group(WBC:11.67±4.85×10^(9)/L vs.6.41±0.72×10^(9)/L,Pfusion injury.MIRI was regulated by various genes,including o

Effects of individual heterogeneity on social contagions

Despite having significant effects on social contagions,individual heterogeneity has frequently been overlooked in earlier studies.To better understand the complexity of social contagions,a non-Markovian model incorporating heterogeneous social influence and adoption thresholds is introduced.For theoretical analysis,a generalized edge-based compartmental theory which considers the heterogeneities of social influence and adoption thresholds is developed.Focusing on the final adoption size,the critical propagation probability,and the phase transition type,social contagions for adoption thresholds that follow normal distributions with various standard deviations,follow various distributions,and correlate with degrees are investigated.When thresholds follow normal distributions,a larger standard deviation results in a larger final adoption size when the information propagation probability is relatively low.However,when the information propagation probability is relatively high,a larger standard deviation results in a smaller final adoption size.When thresholds follow various distributions,crossover phenomena in phase transition are observed when investigating the relationship of the final adoption size versus the average adoption threshold for some threshold distributions.When thresholds are correlated with degrees,similar crossover phenomena occur when investigating the relationship of the final adoption size versus the degree correlation index.Additionally,we find that increasing the heterogeneity of social influence suppresses the effects of adoption threshold heterogeneity on social contagions in three cases.Our theory predictions agree well with the simulation results.

How to determine reasonable position and length of anchor cable is a frequently encountered but not well addressed problem in slope reinforcement projects. In this paper, the variable-modulus elastoplastic strength reduction method （SRM） is used to obtain the stress field, displacement field, and factor of safety of slope. Slope reinforcement using anchor cables is modeled by surface loading, i.e. different distributions of surface loading represent various reinforcement schemes. Optimal reinforcement scheme of anchor cables can be determined based on slope stress and displacement fields. By comparing the factor of safety and stress field before and after slope reinforcement, it is found that better rein-forcement results can be achieved if strong reinforcement is applied upon the regions with high stress and large displacement. This method can well optimize the arrangement of anchor cables. In addition, several cases are employed to verify the proposed method.

BACKGROUND:Rapid on-site triage is critical after mass-casualty incidents(MCIs)and other mass injury events.Unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)have been used in MCIs to search and rescue wounded individuals,but they mainly depend on the UAV operator’s experience.We used UAVs and artificial intelligence(AI)to provide a new technique for the triage of MCIs and more efficient solutions for emergency rescue.METHODS:This was a preliminary experimental study.We developed an intelligent triage system based on two AI algorithms,namely OpenPose and YOLO.Volunteers were recruited to simulate the MCI scene and triage,combined with UAV and Fifth Generation(5G)Mobile Communication Technology real-time transmission technique,to achieve triage in the simulated MCI scene.RESULTS:Seven postures were designed and recognized to achieve brief but meaningful triage in MCIs.Eight volunteers participated in the MCI simulation scenario.The results of simulation scenarios showed that the proposed method was feasible in tasks of triage for MCIs.CONCLUSION:The proposed technique may provide an alternative technique for the triage of MCIs and is an innovative method in emergency rescue.

Poly（ionic liquid） functionalized composite nanotubes are achieved by ATRP grafting ionic liquid monomers for example ViEtIm^＋Br^- from the poly（DVB-co-VBC） nanotubes surface. PW12O40^3- anion is introduced through anion exchange. The PW12O40^3- based composite nanotubes can synchronously absorb and decompose water soluble dyes for example methyl orange（MO）. The cooperative interplay is promising in highly efficient decomposition of dyes.

诚信是社会主义核心价值观的重要内容,其不仅存在于观念层面,而且更主要地存在于规范层面。把诚信价值观的要求由道德诚信转化为法律诚信,能确保诚信价值观在现实生活中得到培育和有效践行。在中国,将诚信价值观的法律化具有必然性,首先市场经济的发展需要通过法律诚信建立起来的信任机制;其次中国重建高信任度社会需要诚信法律规范予以保障。诚信价值观的法律化有两种实现途径,制定专门的信用立法是其中的一条重要途径。中国未来的社会信用立法应采用集中立法模式,即由全国人大制定专门的信用信息管理法。信用信息管理法应确立如下主要制度:建立失信行为的认定标准、信用信息采集和披露的负面清单制度、信用信息符合正当目的的使用制度、失信行为的惩戒制度以及信用修复制度。

Evolution mechanism of recrystallization in a nickel-based single crystal superalloy under various cooling rates during heat treatment

The recrystallization behaviors of a nickel-based single crystal superalloy during heat treatment at 1,200℃ for 4 h with various cooling rates were studied.Results show that the thickness of recrystallization layer decreases with the increase of cooling rate.In addition,the microstructures ofγ′phase in the recrystallization region are different in various cooling rates.In the high cooling rates(70,100℃·min^(-1)),small size and high volume fraction ofγ′phases are formed in the recrystallization region.It is also found that irregular fine secondaryγ′phases are precipitated between matrix channels with an average size of 150 nm in the original matric(100℃·min^(-1)).The sizes of the secondaryγ′phase decrease with the increase of cooling rate.In contrast,large size and small volume fraction ofγ′phases are formed in the recrystallization region,and a grain boundary layer is formed under a low cooling rate(10℃·min^(-1)).The evolution mechanism of recrystallization at various cooling rates during heat treatment is analyzed.
