When given an unknown quantum state which may be either a pure or a mixed state in the coherent state representation, we show that explicit expressions for the teleported state and its fidelity in the teleportation process (S. L. Braunstein and H. J. Kimble 1998 Phys. Rev. Lett. 80 869) can be obtained without explicit expansions for the two-mode squeezed vacuum state and the Bell basis in a specified representation.

The Chinese sturgeon （Acipenser Sinensis） is one of the unique and important fishery resources in China. Since the construction of the Gezhouba Dam, the traditional migration route of the sturgeon has been blocked; consequently, the length of natural spawning sites is reduced from 800 km in the past to less than 5 km at present. As an endangered species, the Chinese sturgeon has become one of the most conserved aquatic species. In this article, the flow field of its spawning states in the downstream of Gezhouba Dam was simulated and analyzed using N-S equations and k-ε turbulence model. Volume Of Fluid （VOF） method with the Finite Volume Method （FVM） was used to simulate the water-air two-phase flow to examine the computed area. On the basis of the ecological-hydraulic characteristics of Chinese sturgeon, the features of the flow field were investigated to provide theoretical support for the proper management of the Three Gorges Reservoir.

Effect of implanting fibrin sealant with ropivacaine on pain after laparoscopic cholecystectomy

AIM:To investigate the safety and efficacy of implant-ing fibrin sealant with sustained-release ropivacaine in the gallbladder bed for pain after laparoscopic chole-cystectomy(LC).METHODS:Sixty patients(American Society of Anes-thesiologists physical status wasⅠorⅡand underwent LC)were randomly divided into three equal groups:group A(implantation of fibrin sealant in the gallbladder bed),group B(implantation of fibrin sealant carrying ropivacaine in the gallbladder bed),and group C(normal saline in the gallbladder bed).Postoperative pain was evaluated,and pain relief was assessed by visual analog scale(VAS)***:The findings showed that 81.7%of patients had visceral pain,50%experienced parietal,and 26.7% reported shoulder pain after *** pain was significantly less in group B patients than in the other groups(P<0.05),and only one patient in this group experienced shoulder *** mean VAS score in group B patients was lower than that in the other ***:Visceral pain is prominent after LC and can be effectively controlled by implanting fibrin sealant combined with ropivacaine in the gallbladder bed.

Dams are often operated in a way to discharge over the spillways,which would cause a high dissolved concentration of air and be harmful to *** bubble transfer and the water surface transfer play an important role in affecting the concentration of the Total Dissolved Gas（TDG）.Based on recent numerical simulations of the total dissolved gas saturation,in this article,a two-phase TDG transport equation is adopted to develop an unsteady three-dimensional（3-D） two-phase flow Computational Fluid Dynamics（CFD） model,including a number of parameters such as water depth,pressure and air volume *** model is used to predict the hydrodynamics and the TDG distribution under unsteady discharge *** agreement between measured and numerical results is obtained for a case study.

A SiC whisker-toughened MoSi2-SiC-Si coating was prepared on carbon/carbon (C/C) composites surface by a two-step technique of slurry and pack cementation, and the effects of thermal shock and oxidation on the mechanical property of the coated C/C were studied. The flexural strength of C/C composites was improved by 6.8% after coated by SiC whisker-toughened MoSi2-SiC-Si. After thermal cycle between 1773 K and room temperature in air for 10 times, the mass loss of the coated sample was 5.08% and the percentage of remaining strength was 81.97%. After oxidation at 1773K in air for 60 min, the mass loss of the coated sample was 2.57% and the percentage of remaining strength was 89.63%. The decrease of the flexural strength during the thermal cycle and oxidation tests was primarily due to the oxidation of C/C substrate resulting from the cracking of coating.

A photon's orbital angular momentum(OAM)offers a promising resource for the higher-dimensional quantum information process,which is due to the infinite values of *** of the obstacles for its application is that it is difficult to transmit information encoded in OAM space in long distance quantum communication,e.g.,photons with different OAMs are unsupported in optical fiber *** propose an efficient scheme to transform the information from OAM to *** the information encoded in frequency freedom can be used in fiber transmission and finally be recovered to OAM from *** scheme can be easily extended to higher-dimensional quantum information transferring between OAM and frequency.

One-way quantum computation focuses on initially generating an entangled cluster state followed by a sequence of measurements with classical communication of their individual ***,a delayed-measurement approach has been applied to replace classical communication of individual measurement *** this work,by considering the delayed-measurement approach,we demonstrate a modified one-way CNOT gate using the on-cloud superconducting quantum computing platform:*** modified protocol for one-way quantum computing requires only three qubits rather than the four used in the standard *** this modified cluster state decreases the number of physical qubits required to implement one-way computation,both the scalability and complexity of the computing process are *** to previous work,this modified one-way CNOT gate is superior to the standard one in both fidelity and resource *** have also numerically compared the behavior of standard and modified methods in large-scale one-way quantum *** results suggest that in a noisy intermediate-scale quantum(NISQ)era,the modified method shows a significant advantage for one-way quantum computation.
