The dominant annual cycle of sea surface temperature(SST)in the tropical Pacific exhibits an antisymmetric mode,which explains 83.4%total variance,and serves as a background of El Niño-Southern Oscillation(ENSO).However,there is no consensus yet on its anomalous impacts on the phase and amplitude of *** on data during 1982-2022,results show that anomalies of the antisymmetric mode can affect the evolution of ENSO on the interannual scale via Bjerknes feedback,in which the positive(negative)phase of the antisymmetric mode can strengthen El Niño(La Niña)in boreal winter via an earlier(delayed)seasonal cycle transition and larger(smaller)annual *** magnitude of the SST anomalies in the equatorial eastern Pacific can reach more than±0.3◦C,regulated by the changes in the antisymmetric mode based on random sensitivity *** reveal the spatial pattern of the annual cycle associated with the seasonal phase-locking of ENSO evolution and provide new insight into the impact of the annual cycle of background SST on ENSO,which possibly carries important implications for forecasting ENSO.

Two-terminal(2-T)perovskite(PVK)/CuIn(Ga)Se_(2)(CIGS)tandem solar cells(TSCs)have been considered as an ideal tandem cell because of their best bandgap matching regarding to Shockley–Queisser(S–Q)***,the nature of the irregular rough morphology of commercial CIGS prevents people from improving tandem device *** this paper,D-homoserine lactone hydrochloride is proven to improve coverage of PVK materials on irregular rough CIGS surfaces and also passivate bulk defects by modulating the growth of PVK *** addition,the minority carriers near the PVK/C60 interface and the incompletely passivated trap states caused interface recombination.A surface reconstruction with 2-thiopheneethylammonium iodide and N,N-dimethylformamide assisted passivates the defect sites located at the surface and grain ***,LiF is used to create this field effect,repelling hole carriers away from the PVK and C60 interface and thus reducing *** a result,a 2-T PVK/CIGS tandem yielded a power conversion efficiency of 24.6%(0.16 cm^(2)),one of the highest results for 2-T PVK/CIGS TSCs to our *** validation underscores the potential of our methodology in achieving superior performance in PVK/CIGS tandem solar cells.

A robust adaptive fuzzy control scheme is presented for a class of strict-feedback nonaffine nonlinear systems with modeling uncertainties and external disturbances by using a backstepping *** logic systems are employed to approximate the unknown parts of the desired virtual controls,and the approximation errors of fuzzy systems are only required to be *** function tanh（·） is introduced to avoid problems associated with sgn（·）.The tracking error is guaranteed to be uniformly ultimately bounded with the aid of an additional adaptive compensation ***＇s circuit system and R o¨ssler system are presented to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control technique.

The microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg-Sn-Ca-Ce alloys with different Ce contents(0.0,0.2,0.5,1.0 wt%)were studied at room *** additions to ternary Mg-Sn-Ca alloy resulted in grain refinement as well as a change in the category of second phase from CaMgSn to(Ca,Ce)Mg Sn and *** volume fraction of second phase increased with rising Ce content,which aggravated the restriction of DRXed grain growth during the extrusion process and eventually led to texture weakening of as-extruded Mg-Sn-Ca based *** terms of plasticity,owing to vigorously activated basal slip and homogeneous distributed tensile strain in tension,the tensile ductility of as-extruded alloys reached the maximum value of 27.6%after adding 0.2 wt%Ce,which enhanced by about 26%than that of ternary MgSn-Ca ***,further Ce additions(0.5 and 1.0 wt%)would coarsen the second phase particles and then impair *** tension-compression yield asymmetry of as-extruded Mg-Sn-Ca ternary alloy was alleviated greatly via Ce additions,due to the joint effects of grain refinement,increased amount of strip distributed second phase particles and texture weakening.

It has been established that Strong Cosmic Censorship Conjecture(SCCC)is respected by an asymptotically flat black hole with charge,but violated by a charged asymptotically de Sitter black *** studied the instability of the Cauchy horizon for an accelerating black hole in Einstein theory conformally coupled with a scalar *** black hole is uncharged while having inner,outer,and acceleration *** the limit of vanishing acceleration,denoted by A→0,it becomes asymptotically flat and extremal,with its acceleration horizon vanishing as *** exploring the perturbation of the massless scalar field upon the accelerating black hole,whose decay rate is governed by the quasinormal mode spectra,we show that the SCCC is violated in the near-extremal regime and also in the A→0+*** result is the first observation of a black hole violating the SCCC in an almost asymptotically Minkowskian flat regime,as well as the first example of a black hole violating the SCCC with neither charge nor rotation.

Fast detection of trace lysozyme,one of the most important food allergens in white wine samples,was achieved by extractive electrospray ionization mass spectrometry without sample pretreatment in this *** multiply-charged ions of m/z1587 were chosen for the quantitative detection of lysozyme in white wine,showing linear dynamic signal responses in a range of 5―75μg/mL with a linearity coefficient of 0.999 and an acceptable relative standard deviation（RSD） of 8.0%―15.0% for directly measuring lysozyme in the complex food *** limit of detection for lysozyme in white wine sample was calculated to be 5 μg/mL,which was lower than the amounts that can provoke allergic reactions（oral test with 3 mg or labial test with 1 mg/mL）.A single sample analysis was completed within 1 *** data demonstrate that extractive electrospray ionization mass spectrometry is a useful tool for fast screening lysozyme in the complex matrix,showing promising application in the rapid detection of food allergen.

It is well known that prostate cancer （PCa） occurs predominantly in the peripheral zone （PZ）, whereas benign prostatic hyperplasia （BPH） typically develops in the transition zone. To identify possible mechanisms underlying zonal differences, we compared the effects of prostate stromal cells derived from the peripheral zone （PZsc） and the transition zone （TZsc） on a PCa epithelial cell line （PC3） in the presence of sex hormones. First, we observed that androgen receptor （AR） mRNA was more highly expressed in PZsc than TZsc when the cells were treated with dihydrotestosterone （DHT） and β-oestradiol （E2）（P〈0.05）. By ELISA, we looked for differences in the secretion of peptide growth factors from PZsc and TZsc. We found that keratinocyte growth factor （KGF） secretion increased with increasing concentrations of DHT （P〉0.01） and was higher in PZsc than TZsc. Under treatment with DHT plus E2, PZsc secreted more transforming growth factor-β1 （TGF-β1） than TZsc, but this pattern was reversed when the cells were treated with E2 only. With increasing concentrations of DHT, insulin-like growth factor-1 （IGF-1） secretion increased in PZsc but decreased in TZsc. To further characterize the effects of PZsc and TZsc on PC3 cells, we developed a coculture model and performed MTT assays, Western blot analysis and real-time RT-PCR. We found that PZsc promoted PC3 cell proliferation and progression better than TZsc, particularly when treated with 10 nmoll^- 1 DHT plus 10 nmoll^-1 E2. In conclusion, our data suggest that PZsc may have a greater capacity to induce PCa development and progression than TZsc via growth factors regulated by sex hormones. These findings provide possible mechanisms underlying zonal differences in prostate diseases, which may aid the search for novel therapeutic targets for PCa.

In this paper,the separation-induced transition in an LPT(low-pressure turbine)cascade is investigated at low Reynolds number with DNS(direct numerical simulation).The transition process is accurately predicted giving good agreements between the DNS and experimental *** illustrate the secondary instability of separation-induced transition in a low-disturbance environment,the results are comprehensively analyzed in both Fourier space and physical *** is illustrated that the effect of hyperbolic instability dominates around the saddle point of hyperbolic *** instability mechanism is responsible for the emergence of the streamwise vortices in the braid *** and intensified because of the“stretching”effect of the background flow,these vortices become the most noticeable characteristic of the flow *** modes of small spanwise wavelength are excited in the braid region,so as some low-frequency *** elliptical instability plays a minor role than hyperbolic *** is also observed that the fundamental mode with a larger spanwise wavelength is unstable in the vortex core which is associated with the deformation of the vortex core via elliptical *** is no convincing evidence for the existence of subharmonic instability.

Trained on a large corpus,pretrained models(PTMs)can capture different levels of concepts in context and hence generate universal language representations,which greatly benefit downstream natural language processing(NLP)*** recent years,PTMs have been widely used in most NLP applications,especially for high-resource languages,such as English and ***,scarce resources have discouraged the progress of PTMs for low-resource ***-based PTMs for the Khmer language are presented in this work for the first *** evaluate our models on two downstream tasks:Part-of-speech tagging and news *** dataset for the latter task is *** demonstrate the effectiveness of the Khmer *** addition,we find that the current Khmer word segmentation technology does not aid performance *** aim to release our models and datasets to the community in hopes of facilitating the future development of Khmer NLP applications.
