A self-adaptive inorganic in-situ separator by particle crosslinking for nonflammable lithium-ion batteries

All-safe liquid-state lithium-ion batteries(ASLS-LIBs) is of great interest as they can potentially combine the safety of all-solid-state batteries with the high performance and low manufacturing cost of traditional liquid-state LIBs. However, the practical success of ASLS-LIBs is bottlenecked by the lack of advanced separator technology that can simultaneously realize high performances in puncturing-tolerability,fire-resistance, and importantly, wetting-capability with non-flammable liquid-electrolytes. Here, we propose a concept of inorganic in-situ separator(IISS) by hybrid-sol physical crosslinking directly onto the electrode surface to address the above challenges. Particularly, the hybrid-sol is designed with silica nanoparticles as the building block and poly(vinylidene difluoride) nanoparticles as the crosslinking agent. The critical factors for controlling the IISS microstructures and properties have been systematically investigated. The advantages of the IISS have been confirmed by its fast wetting with various fireresistant liquid-electrolytes, customizable thickness and porous structures, robust interface with planar or three-dimensional(3D)-structured electrodes, and importantly, unexpected self-adaptability against puncturing. Enabled by the above merits, a fire-resistant ASLS-LIB is successfully assembled and demonstrated with stable electrochemical performance. This sol-crosslinked IISS may open an avenue for the studies on the next-generation separator technology, cell assembling, solid electrolyte processing as well as non-flammable secondary batteries.

Dear Editor,This letter deals with the stabilization problem of nonlinear stochastic systems via self-triggered impulsive control(STIC), where the timing of impulsive control actions is not dependent on continuous state monitoring. In contrast to the existing self-triggered control method, novel self-triggered mechanism(STM) is proposed by incorporating a waiting time for stabilizing impulses. This allows for direct prediction of the next impulsive instant.

随着《区域全面经济伙伴关系协定》(RCEP)的全面生效,中国将同时置身于全球价值链大环流和RCEP价值链小环流贸易网络中。在理论分析的基础上,采用社会网络分析与跨国面板数据模型相结合的方法,基于2007—2023年全球52个国家的高技术产品出口数据测算了全球高技术产品贸易网络和RCEP高技术产品贸易网络的结构指标,并考察其对“双环流”价值链分工地位的影响及作用机制。结果显示:(1)在高技术产品贸易网络中,中国已成为链接全球大环流与RCEP小环流的枢纽国家;(2)相对于全球大环流,RCEP小环流的高技术产品贸易网络更有利于中国摆脱“被俘获”式发展和国际分工地位的跃升;(3)一国在高技术产品贸易网络中的广度和深度对其在全球大环流和RCEP小环流价值链中分工地位的提升具有显著促进作用;(4)相对于全球大环流,RCEP小环流高技术产品贸易网络对价值链分工地位的促进作用受到数字贸易壁垒的负面影响更显著。基于上述结论,从中国如何充分利用RCEP的全面生效和新的“双环流”带来的机遇与挑战,以及促进高技术产业发展和提升价值链分工地位等方面给出了对策建议。

Single View Based Measurement on Space Planes

The plane metrology using a single uncalibrated image is studied in the paper, and three novel approaches are proposed. The first approach, namely key-line-based method, is an improvement over the widely used key-point-based method, which uses line correspondences directly to compute homography between the world plane and its image so as to increase the computational accuracy. The second and third approaches are both based on a pair of vanishing points from two orthogonal sets of parallel lines in the space plane together with two unparallel referential distances, but the two methods deal with the problem in different ways. One is from the algebraic viewpoint which first maps the image points to an affine space via a transformation constructed from the vanishing points, and then computes the metric distance according to the relationship between the affine space and the Euclidean space, while the other is from the geometrical viewpoint based on the invariance of cross ratios. The second and third methods avoid the selection of control points and are widely applicable. In addition, a brief description on how to retrieve other geometrical entities on the space plane, such as distance from a point to a line, angle formed by two lines, etc., is also presented in the paper. Extensive experiments on simulated data as well as on real images show that the first and the second approaches are of better precision and stronger robustness than the key-point-based one and the third one, since these two approaches are fundamentally based on line information.

Can snakes use yolk reserves to maximize body size at hatching?

Numerical and experimental study of internal solitary wave loads on tension leg platforms

With the large-scale density stratified tank and the numerical flume proposed,series of numerical cases in line with the experiments are carried out to investigate the interaction between the tension leg platforms(TLPs)and the internal solitary waves(ISWs).The waveforms,and the loads and the torques on the TLP obtained by the experiments and the simulations agree well with each *** results show that the amplitudes of the dimensionless horizontal force and torque linearly increase with the dimensionless amplitude,while that of the vertical force increases in a parabolic ***,the numerical results indicate that the horizontal and vertical forces on the TLP due to the ISWs can be divided into three components,namely,the wave pressure-difference forces,the viscous pressure-difference forces,and the frictional force that is *** wave pressure-difference forces are always the major *** the viscous pressure-difference component is unimportant,it is negligible as compared with the vertical forces.

The periodic windows in weakly coupled map lattices with both diffusive and gradient couplings are studied. By using the mode analysis method, which reduces the behavior of the coupled systems to a few numbers of independent modes, we theoretically analyze the detailed structures of the periodic windows. We find that the gradient coupling greatly enlarges the width of the periodic windows, compared with the diffusive coupling.
