Doping-driven dual heterogeneous interfacial structures boosting the durability of industry-compatible water splitting at high current density

Developing highly stable electrocatalysts under industry-compatible current densities(>500 mA cm^(-2))in an anion-exchange membrane water electrolyzer(AEMWE)is an enormous challenge for water ***,based on the results of density function theory calculations,a dual heterogeneous interfacial structured NiSe/Fe-Ni(OH)_(2)catalyst was subtly designed and successfully prepared by electrodepositing Fe-doped Ni(OH)_(2)on NiSe-loaded nickel foam(NF).Fe doping-driven heterogeneous structures in NiSe/Fe-Ni(OH)_(2)markedly boost catalytic activity and durability at industrially compatible current densities in single hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions under alkaline *** particular,NiSe/Fe-Ni(OH)_(2)shows a negligible performance loss at 600 mA cm^(-2)at least 1,000 h for overall water splitting,a distinguished long-term durability acting as AEMWE electrodes at 600 mA cm^(-2)and 1 A cm^(-2)at 85℃for at least 95 *** to Fe doping-induced strong synergetic effect between Ni and Fe,dual heterostructure-promoted charge transfer and redistribution,abundant catalytic active sites,and improvement of stability and durability,a mechanism of Fe doping-driven heterogeneous interfacial structurepromoted catalytic performance was *** study provides a successful example of theory-directed catalyst preparation and pioneers a creative strategy for industry-compatible water splitting at high current density.

AgNbO_(3)(AN)and modified AgNbO_(3) have been extensively investigated as promising lead-free antiferroelectric(AFE)energy storage *** studies have focused mainly on the use of an ion dopant at the A/B site to obtain a stabilized AFE phase;however,simultaneous improvements in the recoverable energy storage density(Wrec)and efficiency(n)are stll difficult to ***,we innovatively constructed a AgNbO_(3)-NaNbO_(3)-(Sr_(0.7)Bi_(0.2))TiO_(3)(AN-NN-SBT)ternary solid solution to achieve a relaxor AFE in AgNbO_(3)-based *** coexistence of antiferroelectric(M3)and paraelectric(O)phases in 0.8(0.7AgNbO_(3)-0.3NaNbO_(3))-0.2(Sro.7Bio.2)TiO_(3) confirms the successful realization of a relaxor AFE,attributed to multiple ion occupation at the A/B ***,a high Wrec of 7.53 ***^(-3) and n of 74.0% are acquired,together with superior stability against various temperatures,frequencies,and cycling ***,a high power density(298.7 MW·cm^(-3))and fast discharge speed(41.4 ns)are also demonstrated for the AgNbO_(3)-based relaxor *** work presents a promising energy storage AgNbO_(3)-based ternary solid solution and proposes a novel strategy for AgNbO_(3)-based energy storage via the design of relaxor AFE materials.

Deep learning CNN-APSO-LSSVM hybrid fusion model for feature optimization and gas-bearing prediction

Conventional machine learning(CML) methods have been successfully applied for gas reservoir prediction. Their prediction accuracy largely depends on the quality of the sample data; therefore, feature optimization of the input samples is particularly important. Commonly used feature optimization methods increase the interpretability of gas reservoirs; however, their steps are cumbersome, and the selected features cannot sufficiently guide CML models to mine the intrinsic features of sample data efficiently. In contrast to CML methods, deep learning(DL) methods can directly extract the important features of targets from raw data. Therefore, this study proposes a feature optimization and gas-bearing prediction method based on a hybrid fusion model that combines a convolutional neural network(CNN)and an adaptive particle swarm optimization-least squares support vector machine(APSO-LSSVM). This model adopts an end-to-end algorithm structure to directly extract features from sensitive multicomponent seismic attributes, considerably simplifying the feature optimization. A CNN was used for feature optimization to highlight sensitive gas reservoir information. APSO-LSSVM was used to fully learn the relationship between the features extracted by the CNN to obtain the prediction results. The constructed hybrid fusion model improves gas-bearing prediction accuracy through two processes of feature optimization and intelligent prediction, giving full play to the advantages of DL and CML methods. The prediction results obtained are better than those of a single CNN model or APSO-LSSVM model. In the feature optimization process of multicomponent seismic attribute data, CNN has demonstrated better gas reservoir feature extraction capabilities than commonly used attribute optimization methods. In the prediction process, the APSO-LSSVM model can learn the gas reservoir characteristics better than the LSSVM model and has a higher prediction accuracy. The constructed CNN-APSO-LSSVM mode

In the feld of information processing,all-optical routers are signifcant for achieving high-speed,high-capacity signal processing and *** this study,we developed three types of structurally simple and fexible routers using the deep difractive neural network(D2 NN),capable of routing incident light based on wavelength and ***,we implemented a polarization router for routing two orthogonally polarized light *** second type is the wavelength router that can route light with wavelengths of 1550,1300,and 1100 nm,demonstrating outstanding performance with insertion loss as low as 0.013 dB and an extinction ratio of up to 18.96 dB,while also maintaining excellent polarization *** fnal router is the polarization-wavelength composite router,capable of routing six types of input light formed by pairwise combinations of three wavelengths(1550,1300,and 1100 nm)and two orthogonal linearly polarized lights,thereby enhancing the information processing capability of the *** devices feature compact structures,maintaining high contrast while exhibiting low loss and passive characteristics,making them suitable for integration into future optical *** study introduces new avenues and methodologies to enhance performance and broaden the applications of future optical information processing systems.

Enhanced bioethanol production from sugarcane bagasse:combination of liquid hot water and deep eutectic solvent pretreatment for optimized enzymatic saccharification

In the present study,a sustainable pretreatment methodology combining liquid hot water and deep eutectic solvent is proposed for the efficient fractionation of hemicellulose,cellulose,and lignin from sugarcane bagasse,thereby facilitating the comprehensive utilization of both C5 and C6 *** application of this combined pretreatment strategy to sugarcane bagasse led to notable enhancements in enzymatic saccharification and subsequent *** results demonstrate that liquid hot water-deep eutectic solvent pretreatment yielded 85.05±0.66 g·L^(-1)of total fermentable sugar(glucose:60.96±0.21 g·L^(-1),xylose:24.09±0.87 g·L^(-1))through enzymatic saccharification of sugarcane ***,fermentation of the pretreated sugarcane bagasse hydrolysate yielded 34.33±3.15 g·L^(-1)of *** findings confirm the effectiveness of liquid hot water-deep eutectic solvent pretreatment in separating lignocellulosic components,thus presenting a sustainable and promising pretreatment method for maximizing the valuable utilization of biomass resources.

In situ atomic-scale tracking of unusual interface reaction circulation and phase reversibility in(de)potassiated alloy-typed anode

Identification and anatomy of oceanic arcs within ancient orogenic belt are significant for better understanding the tectonic framework and closure process of paleo-ocean *** article summarizes the geological,geochemical,and geochronological characteristics of upper crust of Proto-Tethyan Lajishan intra-oceanic arc and provides new data to constrain the subduction evolution of the South Qilian *** intra-oceanic arc volcanic rocks,including intermediate-mafic lava,breccia,tuff,and minor felsic rocks,are distributed along southern part of the Lajishan ophiolite *** and isotopic compositions indicate that the intermediate-mafic lava were originated from depleted mantle contaminated by sediment melts or hydrous fluids,whereas the felsic rocks were likely generated by partial melting of juvenile mafic crust in intra-oceanic arc *** from felsic rocks yield consistent and concordant ages ranging from 506 to 523 Ma,suggesting these volcanic rocks represent the relicts of upper crust of the Cambrian intra-oceanic *** with the Cambrian forearc ophiolite and accretionary complex,we suggest that the Cambrian intra-oceanic arc in the Lajishan ophiolite belt is belonging to the intra-oceanic arc system which was generated by south-directed subduction in the South Qilian Ocean at a relatively short interval between approximately 530 and 480 Ma.

CFD simulation of pumping ventilation in a three-story isolated building with internal partitioning:Effects of partition widths,heights and locations

Pumping ventilation(PV),a special single-sided ventilation(SSV),has been certified as an effective strategy to improve the air exchange rate of ***,most studies targeted on the single space,and few studies have been focused on the effect of internal partitioning on *** paper aims to evaluate the ventilation performance of PV influenced by different configurations of internal *** fluid dynamics(CFD)simulation was used to predict the flow fields and ventilation *** width(w/H),height(h/H)and location(d/H)are the three main internal partition parameters considered in this *** simulation results showed that the total,mean and fluctuating ventilation rates all decrease with wider internal *** normalized total ventilation rate decreases by 7.6%when w/H is increased from 50%to 75%.However,the reduction rate is only 0.23%between w/H=0 and 25%,and only 0.61%between w/H=25%and 50%.The ventilation rate is hardly reduced by increasing the partition width when w/H50%.Increasing the partition height will reduce the mean ventilation rate but promote the fluctuating and total ventilation rate in some *** increase of total ventilation rate by 1.4%is observed from h/H=50%to 75%.The ventilation rate is larger when the internal partition is attached to the leeward or windward *** total,mean and fluctuating ventilation rates for d/H=50%are relatively higher than d/H=0 by 1.5%,3.1%and 0.8%,*** the internal partition should be mounted attached to the windward wall so as to obtain the greatest pumping ventilation *** periodicity of pumping flow oscillation and pumping frequency are independent of the partition *** peak power of pumping flow is the lowest for the widest internal partition and is negatively affected by the partition height,but it generally has a positive correlation with the distance between the partition and leeward wa
