Anisotropic transport properties and topological Hall effect in the annealed kagome antiferromagnet FeGe

Electron correlation often gives birth to various orders in quantum materials. Recently, a strongly correlated kagome antiferromagnet FeGe is discovered to undergo a charge density wave transition inside the A-type antiferromagnetic state, providing an opportunity to explore the interplay between charge order and magnetism. Here, we reported the observation of anisotropic resistivity and Hall effect, along with a topological Hall effect, in the annealed FeGe crystals. As the current flows along the abplane, the temperature dependence of ρabexhibits a distinct resistivity loop related to a first-order transition at Tcdw. The applied magnetic fields do not alter Tcdwbut can induce a spin-flop transition at Hsf. Consequently, a field-induced large topological Hall effect is observed in the canting antiferromagnetic（CAFM） state below Tcant, which is possibly attributed to the non-trivial spin texture during the spin-flop process. Whereas, as current is parallel to c-axis, both the field-induced transitions in ρcand χcdisappear. Instead, the Hall resistivity in the annealed FeGe significantly exhibits a deviation from the linear *** findings provide valuable insight into revealing the interplay among magnetism, charge order and topology in the kagome magnets.

Adipogenesis is the healthy expansion of white adipose tissue (WAT),serving as a compensatory response to maintain metabolic homeostasis in the presence of excess energy in the ***,the identification of novel regulatory molecules in adipogenesis,specifically membrane receptors such as G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs),holds significant clinical *** receptors can serve as viable targets for pharmaceuticals,offering potential for restoring metabolic homeostasis in individuals with *** utilized trajectory inference methods to analyze three distinct single-nucleus sequencing (sNuc-seq) datasets of adipose tissue and systematically identified GPCRs with the potential to regulate *** verification in primary adipose progenitor cells (APCs) of mice,we discovered that ADGRD1 promoted the differentiation of APCs,while GPR39 inhibits this *** the obese mouse model induced by a high-fat diet(HFD),both gain-of-function and loss-of-function studies validated that ADGRD1 promoted adipogenesis,thereby improving metabolic homeostasis,while GPR39 inhibited adipogenesis,leading to metabolic ***,through the analysis of 2,400 ChIP-seq data and 1,204 bulk RNA-seq data,we found that the transcription factors (TFs) MEF2D and TCF12 regulated the expression of ADGRD1and GPR39,*** study revealed the regulatory role of GPCRs in adipogenesis,providing novel targets for clinical intervention of metabolic dysfunction in obese patients.

To research the effect of large precipitates（size 〉 0.2 μm） on strain-induced dynamic transformation, the variation of V contents in large precipitates has been investigated quantitatively in two V–Ti micro-alloyed steels. The results showed that high N content promoted V precipitation on the surface of Ti large precipitates rapidly. Subsequently,large precipitates containing V induced the formation of intragranular ferrite, which accelerated the dynamic transformation process remarkably, promoted the occurrence of continuous dynamic recrystallization of ferrite and improved the refinement effect.

In the present study, galactosylated chitosan(Gal-CS) was conjugated with methoxy poly(ethylene glycol)(m PEG) as a hydrophilic group. The structure of Gal-CS-m PEG polymer was characterized and the nanoparticles(NPs) were prepared using ironic gelation method. The study was designed to investigate the characteristics and functions of Gal-CS-m PEG NPs. The morphology of Gal-CS-m PEG NPs was observed by SEM and it was a compact and spherical shape. The size of the NPs was approximately 200 nm in diameter under the ideal process parameters. The interaction between Gal-CS-m PEG NPs and p DNA, and the protection of p DNA against DNase I and serum degradation by Gal-CS-m PEG NPs were evaluated. Agarose gel electrophoresis results showed that Gal-CS-m PEG NPs had strong interaction with p DNA at the weight ratio of 12:1, 4:1 and 2:1 and could protect p DNA from DNase I and serum degradation. Gal-CS-m PEG NPs exhibited high loading efficiency and sustainable in vitro release. The blood compatibility studies demonstrated that Gal-CS-m PEG NPs had superior compatibility with erythrocytes in terms of aggregation degree and hemolysis level. Gal-CS-m PEG NPs showed no cytotoxicity on L929 cells, which is a normal mouse connective tissue fibroblast, but showed inhibitory effects on the proliferation of Bel-7402 cells, which is a liver cancer cell line. In conclusion, Gal-CS-m PEG NP is a bio-safe and efficient gene carrier with potential application in gene delivery.

Polypyrrole （PPy）, the earliest prepared conducting polymer, has good biocompatibility, easy synthesis and flexibility in processing. Compared with metal and inorganic materials, doped PPy has better mechanical match with live tissue, resulting in its many applications in biomedical field. This mini-review presents some information on specific PPy properties for tissue engineering applications, including its synthesis, doping, bio-modiflcation. Although some challenges and unanswered problems still remain, PPy as novel biomaterial has promoted the development tissue engineering for its clinical application in the future.

The rapid coarsening of the M_（23）C_6 carbides has been held responsible for the creep fracture in 9-12Cr martensitic heat resistant steels.A commercial P92 steel was subjected to thermal aging at a high temperature of 800°C to investigate the ripening behavior of the M_（23）C_6 *** electron microscopy（SEM）and transmission electron microscopy（TEM）were employed to characterize the microstructure evolution,especially the ripening process of the M_（23）C_6 *** new concept of the effective mean size,dependent on the critical radius,was introduced to correct the measured mean size and then the Ostwald theory was applied to describe the ripening behavior of the M_（23）C_6 *** ripening of the M_（23）C_6 carbides was revealed to be grain boundary diffusion controlled.

We report a general and highly efficient Mukaiyama-aldol reaction of ketones and *** the reaction of aryl ketones worked efficiently in the presence of Bi(OTf)_3, that of aliphatic ketones required the use of Sc(OTf_)3. In addition, Sc(OTf)_3 was capable of achieving excellent 1,2-selectivity in the corresponding reaction of α,β-unsaturated ketones. This method provides a facile access to differently substituted β-hydroxy α,α-difluoro ketones, versatile synthons for difluomethylated tertiary alcohols.
