Low-temperature synthesis of apatite-type La_(9.33)Ge_6O_(26) as electrolytes with high conductivity

In the present study,high-quality apatite-type La9.33Ge6O26 powders are successfully synthesized by a facile moltensalt synthesis method（MSSM） at low temperatures,using Li Cl,Li Cl/Na Cl mixture（mass ratio 1：1） as molten salt,*** results indicate that the optimal mass ratio between reactant and molten salt is 1：2,and Li Cl/Na Cl mixed molten-salt is more beneficial for forming high-quality La9.33Ge6O26 powders than Li Cl individual *** with the conventional solid-state reaction method（SSRM）,the synthesis temperature of apatitetype La9.33Ge6O26 powders using the MSSM decreases more than 350℃,which can effectively avoid Ge loss in the preparation process of precursor ***,the powders obtained by the MSSM are homogeneous,nonagglomerated and well crystallized,which are very favorable for gaining dense pellets in the premise of avoiding Ge *** the basis of high-quality precursor powders,the dense and pure ceramic pellets of La（9.33）Ge6O（26） are gained at a low temperature of 1100℃ for 2 h,which exhibit higher conductivities（σ850℃（Li Cl）= 2.3 × 10^-2 S·cm^-1,σ850 ℃（Li Cl/Na Cl） = 4.9 × 10^-2 S·cm^-1） and lower activation energies（Ea（Li Cl）= 1.02 e V,Ea（Li Cl/Na Cl）= 0.99 e V） than that synthesized by the SSRM.

The zinc oxide(ZnO)nanoparticles(NPs)sensors were prepared in-situ on the gas-sensing electrodes by a one-step simple sol-gel method for the detection of hydrogen sulfide(H_(2)S)*** sphere-like ZnO NPs were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),x-ray diffraction(XRD),energy dispersive x-ray analysis(EDX),and their H_(2)S sensing performance were measured at room *** results indicate that the ZnO NPs exhibit excellent response to H_(2)S gas at room *** response value of the optimal sample to750 ppb H_(2)S is 73.3%,the detection limit reaches to 30 ppb,and the response value is 7.5%.furthermore,the effects of the calcining time and thickness of the film on the gas-sensing performance were *** calcining time and film thickness show a negative correlation with the H_(2)S sensing *** corresponding reaction mechanism of H_(2)S detection was also discussed.

To reveal the cavitation forms of tip leakage vortex(TLV)of the axial flow pump and the flow mechanism of the flow field,this research adopts the partially-averaged Navier-Stokes(PANS)model to simulate the cavitation values of an axial flow pump,followed by experimental *** experimental result shows that compared with the shear stress transport(SST)k-ωmodel,the PANS model significantly reduces the eddy viscosity of the flow field to make the vortex structure clearer and allow the turbulence scale to be more robustly *** cavitation area within the axial flow pump mainly comprises of TLV cavitation,clearance cavitation and tip leakage flows combined effect of triangular cloud cavitation *** formation and development of cavitation are accompanied by the formation and evolution of vortex,and variations in vortex structure also generate and promote the development of *** addition,an in-depth analysis of the relationship between the turbulent kinetic energy(TKE)transport equation and cavitation patterns was also conducted,finding that the regions with relatively high TKE are mainly distributed around gas/liquid boundaries with serious cavitation and evident gas-liquid *** phenomenon is mainly attributed to the combined effect of the pressure action term,stress diffusion term and TKE production term.

The melt memory effect is a widely observed phenomenon in semi-crystalline polymers. In practical applications, various additives are usually introduced into polymers, which may affect their melt memory behavior. In this work, the effect of talc on the melt memory effect of metallocene-made isotactic polypropylene(M-PP) was investigated in detail by using the differential scanning calorimetry. The results indicated that the introduction of talc significantly strengthened the melt memory effect of M-PP. Specifically, the upper limit temperature of Domain II increased from 161 ℃ to 174 ℃, resulting in a substantial widening of the temperature range of Domain IIa from 1 ℃ to 14 ℃. Analysis of the crystal orientation of the M-PP containing talc cooled from various Ts suggested that the remarkably enhanced melt memory effect could be ascribed to the stabilization of oriented nuclei facilitated by talc. This stabilizing effect was likely attributable to the prefreezing effect or the sorption interaction between talc and the M-PP chains.

Correlation between carbon emissions,fuel consumption of vehicles and speed limit on expressway

This paper aimed to investigate the correlation between carbon emissions,fuel consumption,and speed limit.A theoretical model was derived based on the energy conservation law,which expresses the relationship between vehicle's fuel consumption and ***,a total of 40 sets of fuel consumption data were collected through field tests to verify the accuracy of the theoretical model at different speeds and different road longitudinal slope *** fuel consumption was then converted to carbon emissions according to the carbon emission factors specified by Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC).In the field experiment,two types of cars and trucks,which are most common on the expressways in China,were ***,the travel speed under different posted speed limits was obtained through the previously established model,and the carbon emission changes of different vehicle types at different limited speeds are *** results show that the speed limit has a significant impact on fuel consumption and carbon *** the speed limit increased from 80 to 120 km/h,average vehicle speeds increased about 21%-27%,and fuel consumption and carbon emissions increased from approximately 33%-38%.Another interesting result was that the vehicle's fuel consumption and carbon emissions are only affected by *** results of the study explore the effect of speed limits on carbon emissions and provide evidence for road managers to set reasonable speed limits.

In challenging operational environments,Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)inevitably experience mechanical stresses,including impacts and extrusion,which can lead to battery damage,failure,and even the occurrence of fire and explosion ***,it is imperative to investigate the safety performance of LIBs under mechanical *** study is grounded in a more realistic coupling scenario consisting of electrochemical cycling and low-velocity *** systematically and experimentally uncovered the mechanical,electrochemical,and thermal responses,damage behavior,and corresponding mechanisms under various *** study demonstrates that higher impact energy results in increased structural stiffness,maximum temperature,and maximum voltage ***,heightened impact energy significantly influences the electrical resistance parameters within the internal *** also examined the effects of State of Charge(SOC)and *** methodology and experimental findings will offer insights for enhancing the safety design,conducting risk assessments,and enabling the cascading utilization of energy storage systems based on LIBs.
