Postnatal feeding with high-fat diet induces obesity and precocious puberty in C57BL/6J mouse pups： a novel model of obesity and puberty

Childhood obesity and obesity-related metabolic complications are induced by a high-fat postnatal diet. The lack of a suitable animal model, however, remains a considerable challenge in obesity studies. In the current study, we provided high-fat diet （HFD） to dams during lactation and to pups after weaning. We also developed a novel model of C57BL/6J mouse pups with HFD-induced postnatal obesity. Results showed that feeding with HFD induces fat deposition and obesity in pups. furthermore, HFD more potently increased the body weight （BW） of male than female pups. HFD-fed female pups were obese, underwent precocious puberty, and showed increased kisspeptin expression in the hypothalamus. However, parental obesity and precocious puberty exerted no synergistic effects on the HFD-induced postnatal weight gain and puberty onset of the pups. Interestingly, some HFD-fed litters with normal BW also exhibited precocious puberty. This finding suggested that diet composition but not BW triggers puberty onset. Our model suggests good construction validity of obesity and precocious puberty. furthermore, our model can also be used to explore the mutual interactions between diet-induced postnatal childhood obesity and puberty.

Background:To date,the clinical significance of inv(9)still remains to be *** effect of inv(9)on growth hormone secretion is ***:The aim of this study was to re-evaluate the clinical impact of inv(9)on growth hormone in inv(9)girls with short stature,meanwhile,The clinical features were compared among short stature girls with inv(9),Turner syndrome(45,X)and control *** and methods Patients were included without abnormality when the bone/chronological age ratio was less than *** to the karyotypes,these girls with short stature were divided into three groups:pericentric inversion of chromosome 9[inv(9)]group which included 46,XX,inv(9)(pl2ql3)and 46,XX,inv(9)(p11q13);Turner syndrome(TS)group who had 45,X and control group who had normal 46,*** the referral cases performed provocative tests and were thoroughly *** clinical featrure were recorded and *** The height SDS at diagnosis were-2.51±0.58,-3.71±2.12 and-2.5±1.24 for inv(9)group,45,X group and control group respectively(P=0.022).BMI of inv(9)group were lower than 45,X group and control group(F=5.097,P=0.008).There were no difference in the incidence of GHD between inv(9)group,45,X group and control group[10/17(58.82%)vs.22/46(47.83%)P=0.438;14/33(42.42%)vs.22/46(47.83%),P=0.634].Height SDS was positively related to height of mother and BMI-SDS of patients(r=0.51 P=0.036;r=0.576,P=0.023 respectively)in inv(9)*** 45,X group,Height SDS was positively related to birth weight(r=0.392 P=0.039).Conclusions We escribed the clinical features in short stature girls with inversion 9 and compared it with 45,X group and control *** stature in inv(9)girls enrolled in this study can be explained by there low birth weight and genetics of mother in *** enigma of inv(9)should be clarified by further observation.

目的调查儿科临床医护人员的医学叙事能力,分析其影响因素及与心理弹性的相关性,并探讨提高叙事能力的应对策略。方法通过便利抽样方法,于2022年1月11日至2月25日期间,对浙江大学医学院附属儿童医院及在该院进修的儿科医护人员进行一般资料、医学叙事能力量表、心理弹性量表问卷调查。利用SPSS 26.0软件分析比较不同群体叙事能力差异,利用Pearson相关性及多元回归分析探究叙事能力的影响因素。结果本研究共纳入361份有效问卷,不同年龄、职称、工作年限、收入水平及是否书写平行病历的医护之间叙事能力得分差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。儿科医护人员医学叙事能力总分为(147.13±18.76)分,与心理弹性总分及各维度得分均呈显著正相关(P≤0.001)。多因素回归分析显示,书写平行病历、心理弹性可解释医学叙事能力53.10%的变异水平(P<0.001)。结论儿科医护人员的医学叙事能力处于中等偏下水平,通过平行病历书写、心理弹性训练提升医学叙事能力,可促进医患和谐。

雄激素不敏感综合征(AIS)是46,XY性发育异常疾病常见病因之一,根据雄激素受体功能的缺陷程度可分为完全型、部分型及轻微型。儿童AIS的内分泌学特征为持续性雄激素抵抗,其临床管理的核心在于性别认同,改善青春期性发育特征。现以国内外研究为基础,结合国内专家的临床诊疗经验,在AIS的遗传学分子机制、临床表现、诊断及鉴别诊断、抚养性别评估、肿瘤风险、内分泌激素及外科手术治疗时机、长期预后等方面形成系统、全面的诊断和治疗专家共识,为儿科医师提供规范的临床诊治指导。
