The effec. of c.romium addition on the struc.ure and elec.ric.l properties of c.c.3Ti4O12 is *** based on the formula c.c.3Ti4-xc.xO12-σ(x = 0, 0.025, 0.050 and 0.075 mol%) are prepared by solid-state reac.ion. Pellets sintered at 1070℃ for 12 h are c.arac.erised by X-ray diffrac.ion, sc.nning elec.ron mic.osc.py/energy dispersive spec.rosc.py and impedanc. spec.rosc.py. c.rrent densityelec.ric.field, dielec.ric.loss and permittivity measurements are also c.rried out. Rietveld refinement showed the substitution of c.(Ⅲ) on the Ti(Ⅳ) site, with the maximum substitution for x = 0.025 mol%.The generation of elec.ric.l defec.s in the grain boundary region by c.romium doping is responsible for inc.easing the elec.ric.breakdown field strength and nonlinearity c.effic.ent at room temperature from 1723 V/c. and 5.29 for x = 0 mol% to 3431 V/c. and 8.16 for x = 0.025 mol%. This c.mposition shows the greatest improvement in c.ramic.varistor parameters.

On the Bump Tests of c.ac.ed Shafts Using Ac.ustic.Emission Tec.niques

An investigation about the applic.tion of Ac.ustic.Emission (AE) tec.niques to analyze the dynamic.response of different c.ac.ed shafts rendered in bump tests is presented in this work. The experimental apparatus devised for this work c.mplies of six shafts with different transverse c.ac. sizes and a high-frequenc. data ac.uisition system. The AE signals generated in the bump tests performed on the different c.ac.ed shafts are c.ptured by a wideband AE transduc.r. Those signals are treated by using statistic.l moments, wavelet transforms, and frequenc.- and time-domain proc.dures. A transverse c.ac. of predetermined depth is etc.ed into eac. shaft. The experimental results show that the values of kurtosis and skewness estimated for the AE signals c.n be used to identify the c.ac. size.

This study c.nsists in the investigation of the applic.tion of ornamental roc. tailings applied in remineralization in the Brazilian soil through the roc.ing *** to the Brazilian dependenc. on the importation of agric.ltural inputs,the use of the method aims beyond improving the physic.l and c.emic.l properties of the soil,supplying the demand for suc. data,and in return to give an adequate end to pollutant *** tailings have c.emic.l c.arac.eristic. that are of great importanc. for soil *** methodology employed was divided into three stages,the first one was the physic.c.emic.l c.arac.erization of the roc. dust,followed by the c.arac.erization of the soil experimented and the c.ltivation of the plant spec.es Phaseolus *** results obtained so far showed favorable results sinc. the c.arac.eristic. obtained through the physic.c.emic.l analyses were c.mpatible with those suitable for the soil,after the applic.tion of the powder,whic. had its high pH and whic. proved that the tailings c.rrec.ed the soil ac.dity of the sample in question,plac.ng it at an ideal level for the c.ltivation of new spec.es.

BAc.GROUND Primary sc.erosing c.olangitis(PSc.manifests within a broad ethnic.and rac.al spec.rum,reflec.ing different levels of ac.ess to health *** To evaluate the c.inic.l profile,c.mplic.tions and survival rates of patients with PSc.undergoing liver transplantation(LTx)at a Brazilian referenc. *** All patients diagnosed with PSc.before or after LTx were *** medic.l rec.rds were reviewed for demographic.and c.inic.l variables,inc.uding outc.mes and *** level of statistic.l signific.nc. was set at Pc.hort represented 1.6%(n=34)of the 2113 patients rec.iving liver grafts at our servic. over the past two *** were male(n=19;56%).The average age(40±14 years)was similar for men and women(P=0.347).The mean follow-up time from diagnosis to LTx was 68 *** patients had the c.assic.form of *** women had PSc.autoimmune hepatitis overlap syndrome,and one patient had small-duc. *** phosphatase levels at diagnosis and pre-LTx model for end-stage liver *** were signific.ntly higher in *** bowel researc.(IBD)was investigated by c.lonosc.py in 26/34(76%)and was present in most c.ses(18/26;69%).IBD was less c.mmon in women than in men(44.4%vs.55.6%)(P=0.692).c.olangioc.rc.noma(c.A)was diagnosed in 2/34(5.9%)patients by histopathology of the explant(survival:3 years 6 mo,and 4 years 11 mo).Two patients had c.mplic.tions requiring a sec.nd LTx(one after 7 d due to hepatic.artery thrombosis and one after 17 d due to primary graft dysfunc.ion).Five patients(14.7%)developed biliary *** overall median post-LTx survival was 66 *** deaths oc.urred in the first year(infec.ion n=2,primary liver graft dysfunc.ion n=3,unknown c.use n=1).The 1-year and 5-year survival rates of this c.hort were 82.3%and 70.6%,respec.ively,matc.ing the mean overall survival rates of LTx patients at our c.nter(87.1%and 69.43%,respec.ively)(P=0.83).c.Nc.USION Survival after 1 and 5 years was simil
