Solving traffic data occlusion problems in computer vision algorithms using DeepSORt and quantum computing

Inaccuracies of traffic sensors during traffic counting and vehicle classification have persisted as transportation agencies have been prompted to calibrate sensors *** of multiple objects,heavy occlusions,and similar appearances in congested places are some causes of computer vision model *** paper used the YOLOv5 model for detection and the DeepSORt model for tracking *** to the nature of the reported problem caused by many misses and mismatches,the power of quantum computing with the alternating direction method of multipliers(ADMM)optimizer was leveraged.A basic Kalman filter and the Hungarian algorithm features were used in combination with a quantum optimizer to present robust multiple object tracking(MOt)*** hybrid combination of the classical and quantum model has fastened learning the occludes during frame matching of tracks and detections by generating minimum quantum cost function *** with the existing models indicated a significant increase in the primary MOt metric multiple object tracking accuracy(MOtA)by 16%more than the regular YOLOv5-DeepSORt model when using a quantum ***,a 6%multiple object tracking precision(MOtP)increases and a 6%identification metrics(F_(1))score increase were observed using the quantum optimizer with identity switching reduced from 6 to *** model is expected to assist transportation officials in improving the accuracy of traffic counts and vehicle classification and reduce the need for regular computer vision software calibration.

Increasing bacteria levels in the Lower Neches River caused by Hurricane Harvey has been of a serious *** study is to analyze the historical water sampling measurements and real-time water quality data collected with wireless sensors to monitor and evaluate water quality under different hydrological and hydraulic *** statistical and Pearson correlation analysis on historical water samples determines that alkalinity,chloride,hardness,conductivity,and pH are highly correlated,and they decrease with increasing flow rate due to *** flow rate has positive correlations with Escherichia coli,total suspended solids,and turbidity,which demonstrates that runoff is one of the causes of the elevated bacteria and sediment loadings in the *** correlation between *** and turbidity indicates that turbidity greater than 45 nephelometric turbidity units in the Neches River can serve as a proxy for *** to indicate the bacterial outbreak.A series of statistical tools and an innovative two-layer data smoothing filter are developed to detect outliers,fill missing values,and filter spikes of the sensor *** correlation analysis on the sensor data illustrates that the elevated sediment/bacteria/algae in the river is either caused by the first flush rain and heavy rain events in December to March or practices of land use and land ***,utilizing sensor measurements along with rainfall and discharge data is recommended to monitor and evaluate water quality,then in turn to provide early alerts on water resources management decisions.

In this paper,for the output tracking problem of nonlinear discrete-time systems,a performance index is newly defined using the adaptive dynamic programming(ADP) technique to completely eliminate tracking errors in *** contrast to traditional definitions of performance indices in other ADP-based methods,the proposed performance index is not only designed from the perspective of output tracking errors but also introduced errors of system states and control inputs at adjacent stages,which is suitable for practical situations in many industrial applications,such as the alumina production,the flotation process,and the mineral grinding *** proved that the obtained controller can make the system output fully track the given reference trajectory by applying the iterative criteria of the ADP *** addition,the proposed algorithm was implemented using a data-driven technique and neural networks to avoid analyzing and deducing the complicated dynamics of actual industrial ***,using historical data for a forced-circulation evaporation system in the alumina production process,the effect of the proposed approach was verified through a numerical simulation and compared with that of the proportional-integral controller.
